Very friendly and helpful people at the reception.

The mornings we went hiking before the breakfast service did not offer us, either at the reception or in the restaurant, breakfast bags to take away. They're just offering you some cookies to drink there. It is not fair because these breakfasts are paid for with the reservation. On the other hand the rooms need a good renovation.

I didn't stay at this hotel, but I had breakfast here. Really great buffet, full of so many different things (from sweet to salty please everyone), courteous staff and the chance to take away the sandwiches for lunch paying a difference (. 70 nok)
Normal prices considered Norwegian (120nok if your hotel is contracted, otherwise 180nok).
If you also use it for packed lunch it's a really good price.

The seaside location is the perfect hub for a harbor walk in a vibrant neighborhood with lively bars and restaurants at the water front. Access to the hotel is easy since the airport bus stop is nearby. The reception is professionel with easy and informative check in. The single room was well designed with bed, chair and a small table for work. Wi-Fi work well and is free. There are few power outlets considering this electronic age. Everything worked well in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. However, a little snorring was audible far away. The breakfast buffet was diverse with everything. Especially appreciated were the ginger and vegetable shots.

Very old looking and old smelling rooms and hallways. Tiny rooms, extra shaggy and uncomfortable beds big hole in the middle that sucks you in at night. Decent breakfast buffet. Never coming back.

It's old but okay. Service is good and the bar is great with a number of different choices of beer. There is also a Big Horn restaurant where the serve breakfast and dinner and the food is very good.

Perfect location, near colorfully Street and fjord cruise terminal. Very nice rooms with bath.

The rooms are simple but cozy with good beds. That's super important to me. They were wonderful about my service animal being with me. The staff here from the front desk, bar and restaurant were amazingly friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond.

The room was a little bit worn. Otherwise it's was clean. And with big flat TV. Breakfast was perfect.

How does this hotel have such high rating? This hotel is old and does not have a proper heating system. My room temperature is almost same as outside temperature and it is 12 degrees. They told me to push a button but I do not see a proper heater in this room. A piece of metal bar is supposed to be a heater. They also refused to change the room. I don't know how I am gonna sleep tonight. Never staying here for sure.

Wonderful location in the middle of Stavanger port and a minute away all the major pubs and places where spending the evening…

What can be said for a lovely quaint hotel, the food is excellent in all aspects, the staff are so friendly and helpful. We spent four nights recently and did not want to leave, would reccomend without hesitation. Cannot understand the negative reviews, the Ritz it is not, but, if that's the standard you expect then go book the Ritz. We will certainly use this hotel again.

The hotel is located in a great location. Good value for money.

Good location. The room is clean and the breakfast is good. We were quite surprised that no aircon/air ventilation system in the room but it was perfectly fine during winter time.

Facilities are good, location is amazing, but the rooms are a bit tired and in need of renovation.

Excellent staff. Clean room, thin walls. Nice hotel right on water and in the middle of town. Center of all the action with lots to do close by. Restaurant is comparable to near by restaurants.
