Campground

Large camping ground that's relatively cheap, at least for tents. The surrounding mountains and lake provide a fantastic view. Not a lot of toilets. Underground is very rocky, so if you come with a tent bring good pegs.

Beautiful CP, well structured, clean, beautiful environment. Recommendation.

Waterfall was a bit disruptive to me. Otherwise very good. Is also spoken German. People are very friendly. Would go again.

Beautiful quiet campsite on a beautiful lake. Surroundings of high mountains. Invites you to wander. Plumbing clean shower clean. Even with dogs ok.

Very nicely located campsite. All somewhat spartan but neat and clean. Good starting point for hikes.

Very large camping in a nice green valley. The sanitary facilities are okay enough but the shower area needs some modernisation.

The view is great the place also plumbing facilities Saber and the atmosphere just beautiful.

Nice lakeside campground right in the mountains with plenty to see and do nearby. Beautiful tent places. Plenty of rv places and cabins. Not the cheapest place but the location makes up for it.

Really nice camping, nice views, friendly staff, lovely views. Fishing, but you have to buy a permit, kayaks and canoes to rent on site. Worth a visit with great hiking in the vicinity.

Fantastic site, amazing views and friendly staff. There are boats and canoes to rent and good fishing. Facilities are all clean. It is busy though and your view may wall be blocked by a huge rv. There's a smaller site next door which was a bit more rustic looking.

Very good stay at saebo camping. Good price for the service. We rented a cabin, kitchen equipped (you have to borrow plates and dish at the reception). Recommend it.

Sæbø camping is a camping with a great view over the landscape. It has no pre made places for the caravans or tents so you can settle down wherever fits you best. The camping has not a lot of activities but you can hire canoes to go into the waters. This camping is great for nature lovers.

Nice campground with a beautiful view into the Fjord. A lot of sites for motorhomes and tents as well as some huts. We had a hut for 4 persons which was nice but only has one real sleeping room. The second bed is in the living room. In total a good stay.

Good camping! toilets/douches etc clean. Perfect free Wi-Fi all over the place. Nice walks/bikini's from the camping. Nice view around.

Camping is ok. Electricity and water connections are, unfortunately, only sparse. Wi-Fi works only near the reception. All-round view at the campground is huge.

Dirty and expensive. Linens were made of paper but cost the same as in other campings we went to in Norway. Those linens were so itchy we could barely sleep. It is nicely positioned but apart from that, awful experience.

As nearly everywhere in Norway, this place offered a pretty nice view. Staff was friendly, prices were ok, though you have to pay extra for literally everything: Hot showers, of course, that was everywhere we went, but I've never needed to pay for using the public stove or dish cleaning water before. Wasn't excruciatingly expensive, just thought that people should know if they're on a shoestring budget. Contrary to the review below, we got Wi-Fi for free. I think that, as of 2014, they've made it free. The campground was clean and well maintained, though not really "comfortable" due to the plain green fields everywhere. It felt like camping on a soccer field. A bunch of trees or hedgerows wouldn't hurt.

We where campen in our Transporter in 2010 and again in 2013 at Sæbø Camping. The toilet was clean, but you needed coins to shower — as everywhere. we have been Lucky that both visits has been in good weather, but we will return anytime possibel.

We spent one night in the cabin 10 which was like 100 meters from the toilets. The place wasn't clean to start with, the cabin and the facilities. Bathroom was infested with mosquitos. Everything was to pay even the hot water for the dishes, ten Internet was hourly payed and only had a 48h option! Which of course was 50kr. Our heater broke down and gave us a new one. Then we switched to cabin number 1 and was a bit better.
