Hostel Life is Good Hostel

A very nice place and great people who will take care of you.

Sometimes traveling you have no idea where you will stay maybe it turns out not so well, but not this time beautiful place delicious food Roman and Barbara are the perfect host with her mom in the kitchen and a great staff. Anyone or anything you want to know Romans’ your man. Most other places will not be as safe secure and surrounded by friends.

We’ve spent almost the whole week on Ompetepe island at the end of March 18
Even though we didn’t have the accommodation in Life is Good itself, we spent every single evening there. They have awesome kitchen and bar — the food was great and the rum mixed cocktails were a story on its own.

The hostel’s draw isn’t really the accommodations. What it lacks in comfort, it gains in the people who run this hostel. This is the perfect hostel for solo travellers. Staff and the owners were extremely friendly. This is the first hostel I’ve been to where people actually say hi to each other. The only drawback is that the hostel is quite far from the port but walking distance nonetheless. If you want amazing service and meet people along the way, I strongly suggest that you pick this hostel. Again, it won’t be the comfiest stay but it’s worthwhile. Great vibes all around!

Incredible people, Barbara and Roman are amazing hosts. The hostel is clean, fun and well run with great service and delicious food! Papaya Pork is a must try!

The best hostel I've ever been to. The staff is as good as the Cocktails they mix. A place to remember for sure!

This was the best place during whole holiday I spent in Central America. Enjoyed the food, chilling atmosphere, watch Tower (the best spot in hostel) and most of all I enjoyed hanging around with whole crew from Life is good.

We were only there one night, but the owners and management were always available and a huge help sorting all of our complicated logistics out to make our weekend work out. Positive atmosphere and affordable.

Personally I was in a shared room that was not good. Small, with lots of people and no ventilation, however the place is nice. It is a bit far away from the center but you can walk.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Located just a few mins walk away from the main area but not too far at all. Staff were great, organised bikes for us and always there to help you. Food was excellent too, but pricey but that's to be expected on an island. Viewing tower to the back of the hostel is a great addition. Highly recommend anyone to stay here.

Highly recommend this hostel. The staff took great care of my boyfriend and I and the owners, Roman and Barbara, were extremely welcoming and made us feel at home here. They answered any questions we had, helped us arrange travel plans, gave great recommendations of things to do on the island and generally took amazing care of us. The atmosphere was also great, we got to know a lot of really cool people here and had a great time hanging out in the common areas. Also the food was amazinggg if you’re staying here definitely grab a bite to eat at the hostel. Overall we were very happy with our stay and highly recommend it!

Hostel really superb! Very recommended on the other hand you might be talking to a pretty nonchalant guy, the rest of the staff is awesome! For the WOW Hostel!

We stayed in life is good for 4 nights and we really enjoyed our time there. It’s really quiet there as it’s a 10 — 15 minute walk from moyogalpa, a good distance from the noise of the scooters and motorcycles in the town. You can look at the stars and sunset from the viewing tower which is really beautiful. The staff are friendly and helpful and they made it feel like home during my stay. The food in the kitchen is really good and there is a great variety of different cuisines from around the world. You can rent bikes and book any other hikes you may want to do. I would highly recommend staying here.

Very worst hostel I've even been. Our dorm was horrible : SO small, gecko poop everywhere, dead and alive bugs under the matresses and no plugs to charge our cellphones. When we told the owner that we would only stay one night instead of 4 because it's not what we expected, he got very aggressive. He showed us a more expensive dorm to show us that his hostel is fine and said it was our fault if we wanted the cheapest dorm. We were extremely uncomfortable. Even though the hostel was unclean and full of bugs, the food at their restaurant was really good. I would still not recommend to anyone.

Wonderful hosts. Great simple restaurant. Amazing chill atmosphere. You will feel at home here. Let them organise your tours and volcano hikes. Eat there special Indian food, drink there amazing tea and fall asleep on their music.
