El Belga Loco Hotel

Worse place in leon, me and my family tried to stay there and they are not kid friendly, and they did not have any costumer service and they are also not the smarter people. They lost the chance to have me and my family and now friends. I will not be recommending this hotel to any of my friends and family.

Great private hotel. Nice pool abs the beach is only a few feet away. This area of the ocean in Nicaragua are nice big strong waves specially for surfing 🏄. And if you walk down the shore line it’s nice and calm waves. At night time it’s awesome beautiful sunset. Great food and drinks at great prices with an amazing staff. There’s also a nice pool table to play. The rooms have air conditioning which is nice after a nice long day at the beach and pool. I def would recommend this place A++++

The place is super cozy, clean, the people are very friendly, you can have your beer in an atmosphere of tranquility listening to good music and the roar of the sea in the background. The rooms are perfect and the people of the hotel give you a dedicated attention of tremendous quality.

I stayed here for 3 nights, it’s a beach front hotel. I stayed in a double room with air conditioned, price it’s very good for the place. It has a beautiful with sea view ❤️❤️, it’s close to everything. The owners are very organized, it an upscale and personalized customer service! They have different options for breakfast and you can have it watching the ocean. I will definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to everyone! 🤩 Thanks El belga loco for the wonderful stay!

Once you get through the gate, a true gem awaits hidden in idyllic Las Peñitas. The room, the service, the food and drinks are all wonderful and very reasonably priced.
Fantastic shaded hammocks poolside and “swings” under a Palapa with views of the amazing sunsets complete a beautifully thought out and executed property.

Excellent service, spectacular facilities, fully air conditioned rooms in which I recommend it.

We have travelled Central America for the past couple of weeks and this has hands down been the most amazing place so far. Accommodation itself is cheap but certainly not lacking — we had everything we needed. Cosy bed & spacious room. The pool area is incredible, you get out the pool and can pretty much step onto the beach. Despite all these amazing factors the number 1 for us was how amazingly friendly and helpful all the staff were. From booking the hotel to us checking in at 3am we have never had hospitality like it. Nothing is too much trouble. We do not speak the best Spanish and them English, however there was no language barrier and we felt so happy and comfortable our entire stay! If we return in this direction we will definitely be staying here again.

Had such an amazing and relaxing time here. Owners are super friendly and inviting. You cannot cook here but the food and booze is very reasonably priced.

We spent a wonderful time there. It's all as you wish. The breakfast is very good and a dream at the front of the beach. The snacks prepared until 22:00 are very tasty. The rooms very good. All in all, we like to come back.

This is an amazing place with great hospitality right on the beach! Cold beer, cocktails and some of the best and cheapest food on the entire beach along with clean rooms comfy beds and a glistening pool! Stay here, just do it, you will not be let down!

A place very friendly and conducive to relaxation, in a paradise setting. The rooms are clean, the showers work flawlessly and in case of a small hunger, a small but tempting map will satisfy your expectations! Add to that a couple of owners willing to give you good advice, as well on activities to do nearby as on the best restaurants in the area and you will get a perfect cocktail (as much as the mojitos they serve…! )

These guys took amazing care of my friend and I. We stayed for four nights and ate there almost every meal. They helped arrange transportation for us and our friends in Managua as well. Try out at least Quattro coco locos for good measure.

Great stay in Hostal El Belga Loco. Managing staff are great and very helpful. Breakfast are good and not expensive. The beach is great and we felt safe. The pool is always clean and refreshing. The rooms are clean and each of them have a safe.

We had a great time at El Belga loco. The hotel is astonishing and beautiful. The decoration of the rooms and the common areas is beautiful and pleasing. Everything looks neat and clean. There is a swimming pool for the guests to use which is a plus and it was in excellent conditions. There is no usable kitchen for the guests but they offer cooking services at a very affordable price and of great taste. The hotel is in front of the beach. Peñitas has one of the most beautiful sunsets we've ever seen and the location of this hotel gives a really easy access to the beach to see them. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend others to stay there.

We stayed at 2 other places in Las Peñitas and El Bogo Loco was by far the best. Probably the best place we stayed in all of Nicaragua. Silvana and the rest of the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was relaxed and laid back. Great for chilling out, either in a hammock, by the pool, or steps away on the beautiful beach. The room and bathroom were clean and nicely furnished and decorated. Having side tables on both sides of the room was great. Though they don't have an actual restaurant, they have plenty of great snack items that can be combined into pretty hearty meals. Make sure to try to nachos! They have bikes to borrow and plenty of activities to plan if that's what you want to do. I cannot recommend Belga Loco enough. If you are planning a stay in Las Peñitas, stay here and only here.

Very nice and clean hotel. Excellent location located on the beach with great surf break. Staff are super friendly and the food is great too. Great place to unwind and relax. Also has a pool which is a bonus.
