I was treated well in the restaurant, we liked the food, the place is very nice. The only thing I don't think I would stay with because of the reviews of the people who have stayed here. They should correct that.

Workers' Day Holiday:
— Food flavor 3/5. Seafood soup almost without seafood and without flavor, garlic sauce desabrida, same fish.
— Dirty bathrooms, with wet floors and full of sand, no toilet paper, no soap, no paper towels to dry your hands.
For me the basics are hygiene and cleanliness of a place. It was a holiday but there were not many people, so you can not say that they were very busy and that is why they neglected the cleaning of the bathroom. I wouldn't go back and I don't recommend it either.

Good morning Facebook friends just wanted to share the unpleasant experience of this place, if you want to be offended, mistreated visit this place. Worst hotel experience we've ever had. Today's morning we forgot the keys to the room in which we were staying it turns out that they do not have a copy for which a worker who happens to be the nephew of the manager, had to go up the room and enter the balcony, at the time of us entering the room we noticed that we were missing airpods, we looked all over which (which was useless) we wash mattresses, we looked in the trash in the suitcases and the blissful did not appear which we are all totally sure had stayed at the table that was near the door, no one else entered the room than we and the person who came in to open, the airpods disappeared, by notifying the manager besides hateful and very polite pedant did not know how to give any explanation to what happened and called us scammers and that that was excuse to not pay what is stupid because WE WERE frequent customers and in what was going from December more than 3 times we were customers of them, they yelled at us, offended us and apart ran us out of the room and closed the gate because they claimed that we were the thieves. On top of that they rob you, offend you and yell us as thieves that by the way if we pay because obviously we are not of the same kind of person.

I recommend Costa Maya, for its excellent service, its food, its pool and for its sea view. It's a quiet environment, your workers are very friendly, it's u. Hotel and full restaurant.

The initial impression is that it's a nice hotel — restaurant — with pool. However, the service in the restaurant is abysmal, with food orders and bills getting mixed up. The sound system was blaring music which made it difficult to carry on a conversation. The waiters appear to have been trained for about five minutes. A well trained wait staff would, for example, be hovering with the coffee pot to refill any empty cups. Such was not the case here. My room, the Guayaba room, was clean. However, the light switch for the room was hidden behind a massive shelving unit. There was a large piece of trim tile missing from the raised rim of the shower. The exterior of the hotel is very fancy, but the highly decorative trim, as well as the tops of the tables in the bar restaurant are badly in need of paint. The flaking paint gives the hotel a sadly neglected feeling. What should, in all respects, be a five star hotel experience is wide of the mark. I am submitting these remarks in the hope that the management will inspect their hotel and take some corrective actions.

Dont ever stay here — property seems to be ok but customer experience was absolute nightmare, staff is rude and completely ignorant of your inquiries as if you as a client don't exist. Definitely not worth the money. Avoid the hustle and book rather somewhere else.

I arrived from El Salvador with my friends on the afternoon of Good Friday, obviously a touristic destination during the holidays was going to be crowded. However, I guess the cheap owner of this place didn't hire any additional servers. Despite their best efforts, the waiters were overwhelmed and we had to wait for a freaking long time for our food and many of the items in the menu were not available.

One word to describe our 2 night stay at the Costa Maya Beach Club Resort — TRANQUILLO Walked the beaches, climbed the rocks, drank cool beverages of choice on the patio overlooking the surf and setting sun. Painted the beautiful landscape. Read a book, enjoyed deliciously prepared food and was waited on by tentative staff. The price for the mini-suite was reasonable (~$100cad) and the suite was Sweet. Clean, climate controlled with a limited view of the ocean and tastefully decorated. Definitely a great place to take kids as the pool was lovely and the sand on the beach was fun to build castles or just run your toes through the cool, wet sand. Highly recommend this nugget. This place caters to couples and families so it is peaceful and beautifully set on the beach.
