We liked the executive room! New, nice, and clean with basic amentities needed for the stay. Very close to the airport and right next to the Antarctic Centre. There is also a Countdown supermarket and a range of food on the other side of the hotel. Great for an overnight stay, especially if you have an early flight the next morning.

Comfortable, clean room, fantastic food service. Faint runway noise till quite late, but considering its location it's to be expected. Not enough to disturb sleep. Fantastic location, especially for early flights.

My preferred airport hotel option. Very convenient to the airport and beside Spitfire Square which gives you plenty more eating options and a supermarket. Rooms are quiet with no aircraft noise.

This place is fab. The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The facilities are great, rooms clean, spacious, warm and comfortable. The restaurant is excellently priced and the food delicious. Great wine selection. There is good parking and good mobility facilities plus it's close to the airport. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Sudima is a reasonably priced hotel that is within walking distance to the airport. The staff are helpful and their rooms are comfortable. This is my preferred hotel near Christchurch airport. Close to many eating options and a Countdown supermarket. Plenty of parking too.

My daughter goes to conferences at this venue and it's wonderful, the staff are very respectful and the facilities are very comfortable. The food is delicious and it's only a short walk to the airport when she is flying back to Wellington at the end of her work day conference here. Plus they have courtesy vehicles If the weather is bad.

Great solution only flaw is to be a little far from the center.
Try the continental breakfast.

Very close to the airport. The rooms are clean and tidy. Staff are friendly. The food is average. Didn’t like the gym, It was too small and the room felt cramped.

Nice hotel but really expensive for what you get. I disagree with them calling their standard rooms "Superior Rooms" especially when compared to other hotels charging the same price. Bad marketing practice especially when trying for return customers. Other than that there were no complaints. Rooms were tidy and neat and had everything you needed for a good sleep.

What a change, it looks, and feels fabulous since the renovation. Last time I stayed at the Sudima was years ago. The rooms are new and glam. Love the decor, staff friendly and room service excellent. Definitely a recommendation.

For a conveniently located (to the airport) hotel for an overnight stay, this was perfect. Room was basic, but most importantly clean and comfortable. Hotel staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The 24 hour transfer was very welcome despite the short distance, no dragging heavy bags around.

This place was very clean, close to the airport, and within walking distance to several places. I have stayed here 2x and I was not disappointed one bit. The staff was super friendly! Despite being really close to the airport, it was not loud and fortunately quiet for sleeping. You can do laundry onsite, which is nice!

A very comfortable place to stay whilst you're visiting Christchurch. Right on the door step or Christchurch International Airport. You can either walk, or utilize the Hotel's courtesy shuttle! Friendly staff, restaurant, bar and meeting room facilities. Very handy to a shopping centre as well, 2min walk. Next door to the Antarctic Centre. Really enjoyed my stay at Hotel.

Great hotel with friendly staff who couldn’t do more for you. Picked us up from the airport (just call from the courtesy phones in the arrival). We were picking up a Campervan the following morning but the company couldn’t pick us up right away so sudima offered to run us around — that’s great customer service. Well done Sudima!

Good hotel to stay near the airport.

Nice comfortable rooms and very friendly staff. Miho from the staff picked us from vehicle depot and later dropped to the airport. Both 5 min drives she was guiding us with things to do in CChurch and easiest options. Worth the money paid.

Could be better in every way. Curtains let a fair bit of light through despite a large amount of guests needing sleep before their flight. Beds were pretty average. Staff were nice.

We used the Sudima as a drop off point for our car hire. The staff were friendly and efficient and the hotel looked luxurious. Our shuttle bus driver was slightly gruff but it was before 7am on Sunday so that's understandable!

Very handy to the airport. We were able to visit the Antarctic Experience before checking in for our flight. Comfortable beds, no noise.

This is probably one of the best hotels close to the airport. Anything you could imagine from a high-class hotel, you get it there. Even staying overnight, you're benefited by many amenities. The room we had was only limited to our payment, as everything else in the room was of high quality and genuine. Staff & Management were friendly and knowledgeable, even at Midnight. Shuttle Bus made the experience even a little different. I would love to go again. (If we could afford! )

Elegant hotel, New… excellent international breakfast… courteous and helpful staff… spacious and well-appointed rooms… Lounge Bar.

Great location for the airport and they do on demand transfers. We were returning a campervan to a nearby depot at the end of our journey and they let us drop our luggage off earlier on the day so we didn't have to lug it around as much. The staff were hospitable and helpful. Room and bathroom were nice and the bed was comfy. Included tea and coffee making facilities as well as a mini fridge. All in all, excellent value for the price.

Very convenient location near the airport. Free shuttle and they took us to the Britz camper van the next day. Nice room and hot shower, although it did have a shower curtain which is a pet hate of mine. We had dinner in the restuarant which was very good as was the service. Accommodation was very reasonable but the food was a little bit on the high side. Overall I would definitely recommend.

Staff was friendly and easy to deal with, however the room they gave us initially had not been cleaned and there was still evidence inside the toilet bowl!

Very conveniently located close to the airport and supermarket, coffee places etc. Short 10-15 min drive to the city centre. Hotel is clean, modern, and staff are helpful. We had a room on a third floor that had everything we needed, Wi-Fi, safe, clean comfortable beds.

Rooms for 2 guests were only set for 1. Yes there were 2 mugs, glasses and tea spoons but one serving of coffee, one serving of water and one serving of biscuit, one shampoo, one conditioner and one hair cap and towels for only one, in a room for 2 women (which was notified in the comments section of the booking) is just stingy and rude. Over priced meals, small stick of bread with frozen butter $10, contential breakfast over $20. Then there was the debarkle of using a conference code on the website. No can do. Multiple emails and calls flicked back and forth the end result of 'our everyday price is the best we can do and no conference discount for you'. I discussed my concerns with staff and others. The reply the same and along the lines of can't help but happy to be of assistance. I left feeling juicy snooze could have been a better stay. Staff were attentive but clearly towing the company line of less is more. Amenities for the guests staying in the room should be adequate for the number. Disappointed.

Walking distance from Christchurch hotel (I walked with a big bag and laptop backpack) with comfortable neat & clean rooms, good meals, shuttle bus to / from airport (despite it being within 5 minutes walking distance). Neat mini-gym.

Awesome room! I forgot I upgraded my room and had cheese and wine waiting for me in my room. A pleasant surprise after traveling a good part of the day.

An amazing place that makes you feel so comfortable. Love to stay longer. The disable shower anđ toliet facilities are first class with plenty of room for wheelchair access. The king size bed is 65 cm off the floor for an safe and easy wheelchsir transfer. A real pleasure to stay in.

Bit of a surprise to us frankly as we were not expecting such an outstanding service from this place. The staff were really friendly, the rooms were spacious and really clean, just a very nice place to stay. They offer a on demand shuttle service free of charge to the airport and back. We also had a few drinks at the bar and enjoyed a great dinner experience. Well done Sudima!

The hotel is walking distance from the airport but their van picked us up due to the amount of luggage we had. We were put in a bedroom that had no bath. I asked to be moved to another room with a bath and we were promptly attended and moved. I expected the same standard as their Auckland branch but I understood that the hotel was undergoing major renovations at the time we were there. I came back a month later and the room was of high standard.

They are very tricky. First stay was awesome in their new wing, but second stay was awful as they stuck us in the old wing! If they give you a room key that is an actual key good luck as you are in the bad wing. No air condition, old furniture, bathroom is awful, limited outlets, TV smaller than one found in an airplane. Reminds me of Motel 6.

NELLORE Jain group stayed here for one night. Air port proximity and complimentary shuttle service between air port and hotel is a plus point. Staff is Good.

I stayed at the Sudima for the 3rd time. The first two stays were ok, if not a little too much money for too little. The last stay was truly awful. The place was more like an army barracks and not a hotel. The place is tired and too much money for too little in the way of a hotel. Everything was blamed on the earthquake from bad beer to tired beds. The only good thing is the close proximity to the airport. I was pleased to leave NZ. I complained by phone but got no response worthy. I dare say the staff I spoke to agreed with me, but jobs are hard to find even here.

The worst place to stay in Christchurch. Old, creaky, dirty, smelly building. Pathetic bathroom fitting — imagine separate hot and cold water taps — which century is that? very uncomfortable beds, Poor service. Old 14 inch CRT TV with hardly any good channels. Highly NOT recommended. The only good thing is proximity to the airport and a nice lobby to sit in front of (fake) open fire.

This hotel is very close to airport. Only 500 meters away. They provide shuttle bus between airport and hotel. If your flight is very later at night, this hotel is a good option for you.

Great service and good location.

If you want to sleep somewhere within walking distance of the airport then this is the place. If you throw rocks from their front door you can probably hit planes as they take off. Not that you'd want to 'cos you'd look mental.

Very close to the airport, nice service and love the complimentary shuttle, might appear abit old in the hallways but rooms are nice.
