The rooms are spotlessly clean and Jessica is a gem. If doing the TranzAlpine there is really nowhere else one would stay.

We enjoyed our stay. Owners are lovely. Close to shops, very close to Horncastle Arena. Quiet motel. Not meant as a criticism, but if you like your accommodation to be part of the experience of being away, there is nothing particularly spectacular about this motel — it is basic, but clean and a good place to stay if you're going to be out and about. Otherwise if you're just looking to hang around and enjoy your accommodation and pop down the road for something to eat etc, you would be bored here. Again not a criticism, it's just the type of motel. Would recommend.

A nice clean motel, with a friendly and helpful Motelier. Very handy to the railway station (with free transport there & back if travelling on the TransAlpine train journey). The only negatives were — there was no air conditioning in the Unit resulting in it being too hot to have the windows closed, and too much road noise to have them open; and, a weak pressured and rather complicated shower system.

Adequate accommodation for a quick stayover.

Stayed for 1 night after arriving in at Christchurch airport and before onward travel. The apartments have all needed furnishings, towels provided and the staff were welcoming. There are a number of small shops and restaurants in close proximity and the beginning of the city center is about 30 minutes walk.

Friendly helpful owner/ great room/ so helpful with shuttling us to Trans Alpine train.

The counter staff were friendly and enthusiastic. The rooms are simple and comfortable, but fully equipped, good and small family or a couple or a group of friends. A recommended hotel, in particular, offers fresh milk to travellers.
Receptionist is friendly and passion. The location is a going to CBD or taking Transalpine trail. You won't regret to stay here.

Looks like many other motels from the outside. Reception warm, friendly and efficient. The real winner is the specification, quality and maintenance of the rooms and equipment. No corners cut here, it's a professional operation. You won't regret staying here.
