Wowers, this place is amazing. What an experience from start to finish. Amazing gardens, epic hosts, yummo food, peaceful and surreal!
From the minute we arrived, Ralph was welcoming, humorous and authentic with a real desire to make you feel at home and start relaxing immediately.
The garden in May is beautiful and the whole settling, just stunning — sunny, private and grand.
If you like your food the high tea was wonderful with savory, sweet and such beautiful teas. The accommodation and room service was wonderful, but a highlight for me was the spa in the Bush with my good friend and a chance to sort out the worlds problems in the most southern native Nikau Palm forest in the country!
We stayed two nights but wished to stay a lifetime with those canapés every evening and beautiful linen, not to forget the crackling open fire!
Magic stuff, so a great post lockdown treat for Kiwis which we would all thoroughly recommend.
Get out and see your country and make sure you treat yourself to a stay at Greenmantle or at least a high tea!
