Lovely, clean and quiet A+ from us. Recommend and will definitely stay again!

We last stayed here back in the 90s, and always had a good experience hence booking to stay again on my trip over the weekend just gone.
Diann and Tony were absolutely fantastic hosts. I was here with my mum who is disabled and Diann made us feel extremely welcome and comfortable, eager to help us in any way needed. Tony checked in on us the next day to see if we needed anything.
The entire motel complex is very well maintained, everything was nice, modern and clean, and best of all. The bed was like sleeping in a cloud!
I strongly recommend this motel to everyone, especially anyone with a disability.

Beautiful modern motel, with very friendly staff.

A1 units. 10 out of 10 for cleanliness and friendliness, best beds anywhere. No road noise from the main road, very quiet. Would definitely recommend ☺

If your after a family run motel who make you feel welcome this is the place. Plenty of parking and the room I was in was great. One of the friendliest motels I have stayed in. If your staying in Matamata the Broadway Motel is the place you should stay.

Great play area for the kids! Spa pool, outdoor pools. Rooms are clean. Hosts are nice.

Although this is an older property, it has been beautifully renovated. Our room was bright and attractive — gave a very good impression when first walking in! Our unit was well equipped with conveniences, and was very comfortable. Although we did not have children with us, we noticed some excellent facilities for kids, including a play area and toys. There is a small grocery store immediately next door, for any needs. Definitely go again!

This was my first visit to the Broadway Motel, but I will definitely be back. It was recommended to me by many friends who have stayed there in the past. From the moment I arrived I felt welcomed and comfortable.

Nice motel to stay, convenient location, big pleasant backyard for kids to play. Only small thing is the swimming pool is too deep and cold otherwise all good.

It was an ok visit, food was average, staff pleasant, once my fellow diners were served I had a bit of a wait for my meal.

Love the little garden where kids can run and play freely.

Wonderful location and the owner went out of his way. He supplied the teenagers with more Wi-Fi than was allocated for out stay. Clean and comfortable unit. Nice spa area and within walking distance of everything in town. There are some yummy cafes close by!

We loved it. Excellent accommodation. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Enjoyed the spa bath. We had a lovely outside space but unfortunately not quite warm enough to use. Highly recommend it.

Very nice room, full kitchen, robes available for use in the room, large shower, and climate controlled environment (not that it was necessary — the weather was great so we could open the windows)! Just a few minutes down the road from Hobbiton, the place was excellent to sleep the night before and get a jump on touring the next day. Definitely recommend it!

Wonderful motel, super clean (which I enjoy most about hotels to be fair) and close by to the city centre with restaurants and shops. Management was great, the room spacious and the beds comfy. I like them slightly firmer, but these were absolutely fine to sleep in!

The best motel we stayed in during our visit to New Zealand last year. Friendly staff, large and beautifully appointed apartement, all necessities included, clean and well kept common areas. Perfectly located for visits to Hobbiton!

Staying as a family of 4 in one of the newer apartments has been an excellent experience. The rooms are clean, spacious and well appointed.
