Good location, good attitude of service personnel! But the problem of reaction is not clear, resulting in a reaction did not deal with the situation occurred; booking has written to provide free Wi-Fi but a room a day only 1G usage, the actual use is not to 1G!

Generally speaking, it's a great place to stay at. It is near a cemetery though, so it depends whether you're comfortable with that. Services and facilities are nice and complete. I didn't get to check the breakfast spot and pool—but those exist. Definitely would stay here again, although not the best.

Not very impressed quiet run down. The bedroom have no picture hanging so it feels very unloved. Couldn't clean our room… breakfast wasn't worth it especially in public holiday Monday they wouldn't switch pancake machine on… disappointing.

This isn't in the very centre, but still very much within walking distance. The airport transfer bus has a stop within 5 mins of walk from the building, too. The facilities and furniture could be newer, but the cleanliness, spaciousness, and the excellent service made up for all of that.

Booked through Jetstarr and chose the most expensive superior option. Room was dirty, daylight showed dirt/oily substance all over the walls. Made 1 phonecall to a takeaway store across the road to see if they were open. Upon checkout was asked to pay $1 to cover it, didn't have cash so had to use my card. Not very impressed with such service, definitely a budget place to stay. The rooms would be nice if they weren't so run down. Get what you pay for I guess. I do suspect if you get a good deal it will show in the room you get, I've stayed here one before with family and we paid full price, the room was much nicer. Don't be fooled by low prices at this complex.

The rooms are nice and spacious and the front desk staff is very helpful, but there are a couple issues. First, the rooms and hallways are very very stuffy and warm even though both nights we were there it was quite cool out. Also the Wi-Fi failed repeatedly and required multiple trips back to the front desk to get new codes. Not a huge deal but kind of annoying.

A family party of five arrived to rude staff refusing to provide a car park (no mention of fee). Got to our room which had a broken toilet, broken sofa bed, dirty kitchen, dirty crockery, chairs with cigarette holes, windows which didnt open, and fixtures barely hanging on the wall — and they wanted a $500 bond! Hallway temperature is an oven and thermostat in rooms isn't much better. Staff incredibly rude and unhelpful. Bed ok, pillows crap. Location great. If you're into camping and adventures price is ok and worth taking a gamble.

Well equipped apartments, very clean and located close to the city center.

Nice apartment! Great staff! Shame that all washing machines and dryers were removed from the apartments. Otherwise the place was very good! I would happily stay there again.

OK apartment in bad area, pretty rundown building. Basement carpark full, hard to find parking and expensive. Not great for the money, wouldn't stay again.

Beds were comfortable but the apartments weren’t very clean mouldy and dusty, especially around the vents and in the shower around the inside of the glass in the shower. Otherwise everything else seems ok, the could get aircon in the hallways and lifts as it was like walking through a sauna.

Good facilities and ubication, very bad service, as bad as the internet connection. Please please provide a decent service, you are not well organized. The Wi-Fi is terrible needed to update the password 3 or 4 times A DAY.

I would not recommend this place to anyone! It was so dirty! Hair on shower floor, blood on the bathroom door handle, white marks over the couch. Everything was just so grubby! The reception lady we dealt with was lovely but apart from that everything about this place was bad.

I was booked in here for my recent stay in Auckland. While the room was reasonable It's cleanliness left something to be desired. The fact the the last guests shoes were still in my room was interesting to say the least. Overall the room was a little tired and well used, the sofa was not a comfortable place to relax. It's location isn't the best either due to noise levels (was on the 10th floor) but good if your walking around town or the museum etc. Over all if I was paying I'd not stay here again.

Good situation for walking around town. Serious lack of staff. Rooms not ready by late afternoon. 1 person on the check in desk, doing their best to check in dozens & dozens of people while 40-50 guests were also trying to check out. The wait time was up to an hour & is not acceptable.

Good sized rooms. Comfortable beds. Great location. Helpful staff. Only critisim, our room had no air-con.

Our stay was lovely! Our room was spacious with very nice decor. Everything was in excellent working order and our room was very clean. It was quiet, too, and we had a nice view. There were numerous restaurants and shops within easy walking distance, which was a huge plus. We would definitely stay here again.

I will put to this hotel the maximum for the friendliness of the management, the cleanliness of the room but if you are looking for the quiet and good Internet connection you have to plan your stay elsewhere.
I explain when you have the wind blowing, the noise becomes infernal with the noise of cars passing on the highway short bad soundproofing of the carpentry. Then in the morning you have to be patient to take the elevator because the traffic is so important that you can wait well 15 minutes before you have it.
Finally if you are a snag of the net, you will tear your hair because it is right that  500 Mb per day short time to look at his e-mails and then Basta… But as I told you the friendliness of management primes on everything else.

Our 20pax group stayed here 2-4 days in Dec 2017. The rooms are ok, apartments equipped with kitchen and cooking set. High floors are nice view. Parking is too narrow, beginning drivers will have really difficulty to drive down to the car park. I think $25/night/car is quite expensive. Internet is said "free" but provided only 500M/room/day.

Great apartment, friendly people, simple class.

We stayed here the night or should I say the morning the fire alarm went off (4am) we know things like this happen sometimes, however the lack of communication between the manager and ourselves was shocking, there was no apology, not even when we checked out at the end of our stay. This was really poor management. There where no clean towels offered each day, the soap wasn't fill in shower, what a mess I clean motels and sadly this one is not up to scratch. However the breakfast room was really nice and good value, and the view was beautiful from our 8th floor and the staff on reception were quite helpful. But sadly management need a kick up the …

We had a very comfortable stay at the Waldorf St Martins apartments. We stayed three nights and found the room to be clean and spacious; the shower had excellent pressure and was hot. The kitchenette was well set up with a refrigerator, microwave, oven and two hot plate burners. The breakfast the hotel offered was ample but fairly basic; there weren't any cooked options. The included internet was good but the fact that they changed the Wi-Fi access code at midnight every day was a touch annoying. Well located and quite modern, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Waldorf St Martins.

It started with our first room being dirty to walking down to reception to swap to another room to find that also hadn’t been cleaned properly pubic hairs and all!
Finally made it to another room. It was marginal but we had nowhere else to stay.
Woken up at 4.15am with the fire alarm going off for a water leak that had started last night! We of course didn’t know it was water until we hit the bottom of the stairs. This place is a shit show. The lack of organisation for the fire alarm was appalling. No one directing anyone on where to go. No communication.
I would suggest checking under your beds for rubbish before you unpack. This place is filthy and totally disorganised!
Safe to say I won’t be staying at this so called 5 star hotel again.

Worst place I've ever stayed. The pictures on their website may have been accurate 10 years ago. Not today. Our units oven and dishwasher were filthy. The taps were loose. The couch was riddled with stains. The noise from the main road below (we were 17 floors up) was unbearable and sleep was almost impossible. Stay away and save your money!

Very nice establishment but Auckland in this neighborhood is San Francisco and after a day of discovery and 17km walking, hard to make the strong man…

The beds were lovely and comfortable. The couch was quite used and didn’t have much padding. There was no air con on the floor we were on and it was obscenely hot.

Large, well-equipped room. Good value for the price. I'm going to pull a star, because a spot in the bed was varnished. I can still recommend the accommodation.

The location is perfect! The apartment we stayed in looked spottles, comfortable and had everything we needed. The only thing that it's a small minus to this building is the parking. The drive to the parking underneath the building is very steep, the pavement is uneven and the parking is really tight. But the good thing is that free parking is provided and you don't have to leave the car in the street. I would take half of a star for that.

We bought the room for 4 nights. Its fairly tight fit for 2 adults and 2 kids. The whole place smells a little off. There is an exposed drain pipe thaat smells the walls are very thin. So you can hear other people going toilet. The carpark is very tiny and can easily have an accident if your not a very good driver. Apart from that its in a great location to the freeway local shops nightclubs bars restaurant's. The service is very good nothing but high praise for the front desk they are very helpful.

The room was pretty decent in price and location was good. A little of a hike to the cbd but has a range of food available close by. getting to it by car was tricky in the allyway but wilsons parking is only next door made parking easy.

Awesome accommodation. Clean and firm with comfortable beds. 2 bedroom apartment. Great location for walking around city and to hospital. The pool and gym are only available between 7am-630pm and the pool isn't heated.

Central, warm and pretty quiet apart from hearing heavy footed (resembling elephants) people walking around in unit above. Beds moderately firm but very comfortable. However poorly made beds. Bottom sheet not reaching bottom of mattress to tuck in, therefore became caught up in sheet when sleeping and it came off bed by morning. Sheets very clean and crisp. Including the one used on top of bed as a Duvet cover. So moving in bed resembled the noise of lying in cellophane wrap. Mattress protector had old blood like stains on bed surface area and tuck in area badly stained with unknown stain. Decor dated. Couch and chair very uncomfortable. Walls painted with flat paint (maybe even only one coat) so many marks noted from trying to wipe walls. Air vents in roof dirty with dust/grime. Twin room very squashed and small and dirty behind beds (had to pull beds out to access plugs). Non opening Window in this room directly into lounge to give light. Blind in this room needed to be pulled each time for privacy from lounge. And was pressed hard against one bed which banged on window frame when moving in bed. Manager quick to act on Sunday morning at 7.30am to a call I made about a party in the room 2 doors down that had been going for a lengthy period. Parking limited and not a task for the faint hearted! or those with large vehicle. No drop off access at reception. Unit all single glazed. Double room — all highway noise very audible!

The staff were nice and friendly, but the rest of my experience wasn't great! The room I stayed in was terrible. The TV only had 12 channels, all of which were very low rating stations, no local channels and only 4 channels actually got reception. The room I stayed in had pull down blinds but when the window closed it would not seal so the blind was slamming the window all night so I had to sleep in the second room. The seals on the windows were gone so the wind would squeal past the windows all night. The curtains were falling apart so I didn't even open them at risk of doing more damage. The second night of my stay I opened the microwave to reheat something and there were bowls of pasta and what looked to be someone's dinner from 2 weeks ago in there, it was moldy and disgusting! The parking was also not very good, I was told when I booked there was parking onsite which was fine until I got there and was told the car park was full so had to park in the car park next door, this was very expensive and meant walking in the rain every morning and night.

Beautiful quality apartments. Always busy, staff are fantastic and friendly. Rooms are spotless, beds comfy. Close to everything you need public transport, restaurants, bars and clubs. Lots of shops walk to krd or bus to Queen St.

Hotel itself was nice but parking was full so we had to pay for overnight city parking next door (expensive), I also left my watch in the shower which "dissapeared" after we left and I called in to get it back. They have what looks like public toilet soap dispensers in the shower which is pretty under par. Definitely take your own.

THE WORST PLACE I've ever stayed at! I do not recommend at all. We got a room here for the night on Easter Sunday and the rooms were semi clean but you could still see hand prints throughout the kitchen, on windows and bathroom. It also had a weird smell in the room. We were told to park publicly and it had to be renew at 3am THE STAFF TOLD US IT ONLY COST $15 — $25 FOR THE WHOLE NIGHT only to wake up to a $70 fine. The elevators had a long wait time everytime. We first got there and waiting for 20 minutes just to get to our room. They have a pool there but it was closed throughout out stayed. That night we also had road work working loudly through the night. Worst experience ever. WE PAID $230 for the night — fair to say that we will never go back.

My husband and I stayed in St Martins 3 nights. I was very impressed with this apartment hotel! Facilities were great, pool and breakfast room were great! very good rate which include free breakfast and onsite parking. Modern spacious 1 bedroom apartment Staff were very helpful with directions! Rooms were nice clean and tidy! Beds were so comfortable. Buses were right in front of our hotel and they were so accessible and easy to get around. I really enjoyed staying here, location was just the best! Thanks so much for an enjoyable stay.

Great price, great location, very comfortable beds, staff friendly, apartment had everything we needed, awesome views especially at night time. Only small bummer was noisy at night time with motorway just there but overall great hotel.

My daughter booked a 2room apartment for 4 of us last sat 1/8/2015, on arrival we went to put things in fridge & found rotten seafood, our room was twin beds instead of double, guy came up to change bed, whilst he was there I found a sextoy on floor in lounge, he said he would get someone to come do full service whilst we were out. Got back went to put some washing on and machine was full of filthy urine & Feaces towels, very unimpressed, we got free continental breakfast with the promise the manager would contact in morning, went to see him he apparantly was not in building, got a phonecall offering to checkout late that day (room was booked for 2days) or refund on carpark, girls on reception very unhelpful and were sniggering when told them how unhappy we were with our findings, worse hotel ever, would highly recommend not to visit there my rating — 100

Stayed here for 8 weeks when we first arrived in NZ. Two bedroom apartment was spacious and cool, despite the record temperatures outside. Staff were friendly and helpful, particularly on reception. Hotel is well located for buses into the city or out to the suburbs. The building is quiet as is the location for the most part, although the fire station's close proximity means that wailing sirens sometimes interrupt the calm. Highly recommended for new arrivals in need of a furnished apartment whilst waiting for their possessions to arrive.

The worst service ever! Rip off rate! Rip off service! The general manager of this hotel is even an idiot.

This is a limited serviced hotel (the apartment are been cleaned and serviced only every 3 nights) but still it was the best serviced apartment I stayed in Auckland for quite a long time. We have stayed in Waldorf in St Martins for 11 nights as part of a group visit to Auckland. Our apartment was spacious, modern, clean and nicely furnished. Good kitchen size, laundry and small deck with good views over the city. Good on site security and friendly management who tries to help at all occasions. Great value which include breakfast for the 3 of us daily and free car parking. The location I was just great about 900 m from Queen Street near a lot of restaurants, walk to the city center took me 7 minutes. We will come back.

We stayed here for 3 nights with our 2 small children, and were very impressed with the apartment and facilities, and of course the price — NZ$110/night for a 2 brm apartment! The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were immaculate — clean and beautifully appointed. We found out when checking out that they had only been open 2 weeks, and we had been the first ones to stay in that apartment. No wonder it was so beautiful! Great views too, and a lovely little balcony (although I was a bit nervous about going out there 17 floors up, the kids had no issues with it! ). The location couldn't have been better — within easy walking distance to the central city shopping (although easier walking to the city shops than climbing the hill back), without as much of the noise of the central city. We used one of their car parks too, but larger cars beware the entry driveway — its a bit of a tight corner! A brilliant stay — we will be back, and we recommend it highly to all.
