Great location as we were at a conference at AUT south Auckland. Lovely rooms with friendly staff. Westfield and some nice cafes/restaurant's are just a stones throw away which is great!

Lovely staff. Sadly had issues with beds not being sorted as promised. 1 night was slept sleeping on a mattress in the floor as fold out couch was broken. Toilet seat fell off. Then we were moved to another apartment. No change in requested bed arrangements, but couch was comfortable to sleep on. Alas the dishwasher leaked & it looked like the apartment was under repair. No compensation was offered for all the disruption or help offered to shift apartments. For 2 couples or a small family excellent, for 4 singles, not recommended.

Nice apartments, bit pricey, but you pay for what you get.

Great one bedroom apartment. Everything you need. Clean & comfortable beds. Modern appliances. Down fall was on level 2 we had a back room. Overlooks carpark. They were fully booked so we couldn't upgrade. Enjoyed our stay.

If you're in Auckland visiting and maybe Rainbows End with family on weekend. Here is a great place to stay, right next Manukau City Centre Mall. Parking available, convenience galore all in walking distance including train station to Auckland city. Great experience.

Am frm rarotonga and when Eva I travel I mk sure am in proximity apartment very convenient rooms are up to my need facilities available… car park awsome… my shopping up to my need as easy to bring up. To da room as of da lift… gud veiw wn am board kps me busy so yes I always enjoy my stay at proximity apartment.

Quite often stay in these apartments when I go to auckland. Great location. Love the clean and comfortable rooms. Great staff.

Nice location and close to Westfield Shopping Centre. Good views. Room size was slightly smaller than it looked on the website. Overall it was clean. However, around the outside of the shower some additional cleaning should have been undertaken. Some minor repairs to the suite would improve its presentation. If these had been done then we would have scored it higher.

Clean modern rooms. Efficient check in and out. Excellent parking.

Though little smaller than MCentral apartment. Cleaner and better facilities and with balconies. The staff are also great.

Nice enough for a short term stay. Close to mall and food outlets. Only problem was the drain in the middle of the bathroom smelt bad.

Great location and apartment only down talk you pay same room rates but you do not get serviced room service on the sunday. No one works that day. Why is there no price reduction. Thought we had user pay in this country.

Close to all facilities and transport. Small apartment for holiday had a futon couch that we couldn't sit on. So overall just ok.

Lady on reception was great that’s where it ended however room outdated, aircon very noisy, shower so small you can’t turn around. Check out was slow, no customer service she wouldn’t allow us to keep car in car park for another half an hour. Didn’t seem to care about creating a good impression so you want to come back. Not professional and way overpriced for product and service you get. Would not recommend until they start delivering customer service you would expect for the price they charge.

Dryer wouldnt work in two apartments but the staff did take our washing and dry it.

Staff are kind and friendly. They respond immediately to your requests. Rooms are always clean and tidy. Location is fantastic and truly everything you need is close by. I have a sunset view of Manukau Harbour. I will always come here. 5 minutes to the airport!

Good basic accommodation, nice to see that Wi-Fi is now unlimited.

We enjoyed our stay the staff are very helpful and accommodating very good location near the trains and mall only downside is the sofa bed for extra person is very uncomfortable next time we shall pay the extra for another room.

Smaller than I expected for the cost. No housekeeping on Sunday which you don't get told about. Parking is not in the cost of your room. However it was close to shops and places to eat which made things easy.

My partner & i. Rlly enjoyed our stay here. locallity was gr8. Rooms were clean. Yes vry enjoyable. Awsome views.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Convenient to shopping centre. But the room is very compact. Friday and Saturday nights there is a lot of noise till 2pm and causes disturbance to sleep. The bed mattress is over used hence uncomfortable.

Front desk bit rude, other than that everything perfect, very good location, everything in room washing machine, dryer etc.

Proximity Apartments is without doubt the best place I've stayed. Clean, comfortable and so we'll located in Manukau City Center. With baby Fransesca and mother Mafe with me, security and friendly environment are priorities. 10 out of 10 on every part of our experience here. A big THANKS to all staff and management here.

Have been staying there while working in the area. Staff arr lovely. Close to the mall and bus and train station.

I love the location of this place. So central to get around everywhere. Close to the shops and amenities. The apartment is adequate for our needs for two persons and well serviced. Very clean. Parking is excellent. Would definitely recommend this place.

Our family's 2nd stay at Proximity Apartments was as enjoyable as the 1st. Very clean, fairly roomy 2 bedroom apartment was perfect for our needs. Good sized bathroom and balconies to enjoy the city views were a bonus. Super close to great shopping and food court! Will be back to stay again.

Nice place to stay. Washing machine and dryer in room made life easy. Air-conditioning in the room big plus for me. Friendly staff. Close to the mall and lots of good food places. Would definitely stay here again.

Chose to stay here because it was right by rainbows end but it had more cons than pros. Could be cleaner, uncomfortable beds, stained carpets, one very rude front desk staff member, unhelpful, didn't provide sheets for the sofa bed or enough towels, tried to make us pay for phone calls we didn't make. Will not come back.

Never go there everyone there is very poor attitude we booked for one of the nights before coming from chch and as we go to check in they said we booked for the following where my paper said the night I booked for ended up getting my money back and went to a better place.

You guys better check the review first before start booking in this unit, few things I review after my stay with my family; 1. Unit are small, not comfortable at all 2. No table for dinning room 3. Old unit 4. Dirty carpet, seems no maintenance 5. Lousy bed, spring knocked your spine 6. Bad response of staff Good things up in this unit is; 1. Internet is FAST but not FREE 2. Location is just walking distance to Westfield Shopping Center 3. Near airport.

Apartments are okay, but the bed should really be replaced with a new one.

Our car got broken into and someone tried stealing it from their supposedly secure car parks in full view of the cctv camera. We advised immediately we found it and were told that police if they asked would get access to footage. We'll guess what police asked and they were uncooperative saying lots of people come and go. Despite knowing exactly what car park we parked in and the fact the thieves would have spent some time trying to get in from the damage where they tried accessing the car at several places. Bad management bad service and incredibly unsecure despite needing tags to enter and exit carpark and don't cooperate with police!

Excellent location and rooms have a washing machine and dryer which are very handy. Traveller with a group of people who all were very happy with their rooms. I wasn't. My bed had a very large dip in one side. I let this go after a terrible night's sleep thinking I would just sleep on the other side the next night. I did but in the morning I woke up with a few bites. I thought this could be misquitoes but the next morning I woke covered in bites in places that could only be from bed bugs or fleas. I told them about this in the morning and was upgraded to a bigger room for a night. The over mirror light didn't go so it was difficult putting on my makeup but other than that and the humming of something outside the room it was a nice room. Warning, check the bed before staying in 1006.

Avoid this place because they are not nice people, not nice at all. Incredibly inflexible. I booked online, made a mistake, rang then straight away and they would not change it. Zero customer focus – a genuine mistake and they basically shat on me. Thanks very much to the money hungry Indian guy on reception, I’m sure karma will catch up with him.

Small, basic, clean, good location.

Although great location I would not recommend staying on a weekend as you can hear foot traffic and music from the local bar. Rooms are ok but very small good for one person or a couple. Over priced but staff are friendly.

I stayed at Proximity with 2 friends while attending a conference at the Vodafone Events Centre. The Events Centre was within walking distance, so no car was needed. Room 1602 has a double bedroom, a single bedroom and a sofa bed — we paid an extra $25 for using the sofa bed for the 3 nights we were there. The room was clean and tidy although not serviced on Sunday (this may have been an oversight). The airport was very near and there was some noise from overflying aircraft, but not at night. There is an excellent Indian restaurant (Spices) a short walking distance away and an adequate food court in the Westfield shopping mall. I would stay at Proximity again, the staff are friendly, courteous and helpful.

This is definitely highly recommended! Close to airport. Clean, convenient affordable.

We use Proximity Apartments everytime we fly in to Auckland. Love this place.
