We stayed there last night. Its was $395 for our room and parking. Everything about our stay was adverage and to be honest have stayed at places half the price that were alot nicer.

We tried to support local as there are no international travellers. We arrived and told to park the car in valet parking for $45. It is not valet it’s sell service. You had to pay extra for Wi-Fi. Tv was usual nz but if you wanted to watch a movie on sky you had to pay $16. I asked if they were busy nd the receptionist said they had 15. Presume that meant 15 rooms. Our room faced the building next door no seaview! even though the hotel was empty. Wouldn’t you think to encourage great recommendations to get rooms filled they could have given us a sea view. No mini bar everything removed. You could ring to ask for something. We rang for A bottle of wine they said they didn’t have any Sauvignon Blanc! What the!
there was one tea bag. One towel each no flannel. It was so noisy as the room next to us yes next to us with the hotel nearly empty partied until 4.30am I rang reception To ask them to make them be quiet. On arrival we went to sit outside on the outside furniture but all the cushions were missing. It was just really disappointing for what we thought was supposed to be a great hotel. We did ask if they would reconsider the extra car park charge and they wouldn’t consider reducing. Maybe they could do that to attract more new zealanders to stay there.

Not what was expected for cost wasn't clean staff morning and night were grumpy the pool was dirty gym had a yuk smell don't recommend it to any1 west of money,. But the door man was grate.

There is no lounge in the hotel, this is the only one no lounge in hilton I have been stayed. It was not convenient for Diamond member But good thing is located at Great location with nice room view.

Great location! The rooms are beautiful. The cleaning staff honest and willing to help. Concierge was outstanding and helped in every way. Highly recommend this hotel. We stayed 3 days prior to boarding a ship. The only thing that might bother some people is that it is situated directly on the pier where ships come in. So if you have a room facing the harbor you might be looking at someone on a balcony from the ship that is in port at the same time. I loved it, though, and often waved at the ship’s passengers. Exciting busy port. I really enjoyed it.

Was fortunate enough to have a friend invite us here for a small party. He was upgraded to a suite, very generous of them. Big room and beautiful almost-360° views of the wharf out to the sea.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: visit the public viewing balcony at the very end of the pier up the staircases in the middle! Beautiful place to enjoy the waterfront with benches and shade. Always very quiet as it’s not well advertised — definitely spend some time down here if you can!

My husband and I went here to see the body worlds vital. It was awesome to see before it left Auckland. The only fault I had was with the taxi drivers who frequent the road where you have to park, a taxi driver was so impatient he felt the need to drive around me and beep his horn at the same time. My age wasn't the issue as I'm not that old, and my speed at parking wasn't the issue as I get tickets quite frequently as you do, they come across as if they own that area. Walking around the wharf with my darling was a nice and rear treat.

Great hotel with lovely staff and exceptional service. You always know you will be well taken care of at the Hilton! Facilities are EXCEPTIONAL and you can tell every single member of staff take pride in their work and just want to make sure your stay is top notch. Definitely a pricey option but if you have the cash to splash, this is the place to do it. Keep in mind though you may struggle to get out of your beautiful room to see the rest of Auckland — though the view of Auckland harbout is second to none.

Hilton is near the viaduct or Prince Wharf to be exact. Went for the Body Vital World event. Nicely organized. The hotel looks more like ship which is interesting in a way. Would like to attend any other event organized at Hilton.

This hotel is by far the best in Auckland! Service is wonderful, rooms are immaculate, a view from every angle! Gym is state of the art and a warm pool. Breakfast is one of the best I’ve seen. We will be back!

Recently visited the hotel in relation to the Body World's Vital exhibition. I found it very informative and interesting. The Hilton is right out on the harbour waterfront meaning amazing views of the harbour and the city.

Good room albeit facing the apartments opposite but could still see the sea from the room's balcony. Comfortable bed, well appointed room. Breakfast and room service both good standard. Great to be on the waterfront for an evening stroll. My new preferred Auckland Hotel.

Right in the middle of Auckland, rooms are great, service is top notch. Nothing greater than the sea breeze greeting you in the morning. Close to nightspots for your enjoyment. However morning and evening rush-hour traffic can be a headache.

Lovely locations with wonderful rooms. The rooms are modern, large with very large bathrooms. The stand up shower was a bit small though. You can easily walk around town from the hotel. We had a fantastic meal at fish and also enjoyed some cocktails & appetizers downstairs at the bar, Bellini. They do in fact make a great Bellini and I also enjoyed the caipirinha.

Excellent friendly service. Classy menu very nice meal. Environment is a bit austere and it was quite cool. Could have been warmer. Very nice view.

Very nice port and the many restaurants near the main street but in the entrances if you approached too much you sprayed the water.

Beautiful hotel and the Fish restaurant is great. The food is superb and service is awesome. The views are stunning. The menu had lots of options and the staff was very polite and friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

We were now twice in a row at this hotel, once had the room 711 and then the 404; Both times we were absolutely delighted by the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff, as well as the quality and cleanliness of the rooms. Especially the Bow suite is the best, most exciting and most spectacular room we have had in a Hilton so far. Also the service at Bellini did not give any reason for complaint. A full recommendation!

Fantastic welcome from front door team and the wonderful concierge, Gustavo. As a frequent visitor, the front desk were efficient. As a Diamond level Hilton Honours guest there should be a welcome letter and a gift in the room but for the second stay running there was nothing in the room. Ordered room service and the laksa was lukewarm and served without a spoon. Having been coming to the hotel for 17 years it is time to try somewhere new. It's a great location and Gustavo is one of the best concierge we have ever met but it feels like the management is no longer concerned about service and apart from front of house the standards are dropping to 2 star standard.

Great facilities with friendly staff and service. Great location at the bottom of town so noise isn't an issue. Parking in the area is OK but no need to drive since you are well within walking distance of the city and good shopping.

Excellent hotel in a wonderful location. Great views of the City skyline, harbour traffic which included ferries, merchant ships and cruise ships. Some cruise ships can block views, but they are generally there only one day. Front desk staff was very accommodating. Bar and breakfast staff really make it a point to get to know you.

Spent a wonderful week at this location with my wife on our honeymoon. Rick really welcomed us to begin with. And throughout the rest of the stay, the entire team was very friendly and service was excellent. Thank you for a memorable experience!

Nice hotel right next to cruise ship terminal. Good coffee bar, nice 1st floor restaurant for included breakfast. Good view. No e rooms with harbor view. Spacious. Can walk right out side to Princess wharf.

Sorry but my English is not good. We have just arrived yesterday at the hotel, the view of the good room, the correct room. We had to call 4 times to bring our luggage. Very basic bathroom amenities, not a luxury hotel, do not fix the room in the afternoon, the quality of the towels leaves much to be desired and for now as a last detail, the water bottles of the refrigerator were open and refilled, a shame.
For now all bad, hopefully better.

We went to the bar on Christmas for some food and drinks. What a disappointment! The waitress came as soon as we sat down to take the order, we haven't even open the menu yet. After that, nobody approach to the table until we started to heavily wave our arms. The table wasn't wiped, it was oily and with pieces of lettuce of the previous customers and nobody bother. No, there weren't short on staff, there were 6 people on the floor and the bar was half full. After waving our arms for a while, we catch the attention of another waitress who took the order an walk out. You would expect a glass of water straight away at the Hilton, but no. No water offered. Drinks came, one of the glasses had some sticky food inside, so we asked if we could get a clean one. They replace it quickly but not a single "sorry" was said. I order a Martini and the olives had garlic in it. Pretty strange, but I could accept it if they warn me, at least. We waited about 25 minutes for a pizza and some chips. The food arrive, we had no cutlery, plates or napkins at the table, we had to ask for them. The 3rd or 4th waiter (always a different one, I lost the count) brought the napkins and cutlery very kindly, but he drop some cutlery to the floor and put it back on the table. Really? Hilton hotel giving you cutlery from the floor? niceee, I can't imagine how they clean the rooms when nobody is looking. We asked for the check, it was deliver on time.

Came by for a conference dinner. Location wise it was a bit away from the CBD but it was a nice walk along the water. It is fairly quiet since it is at the end of a wharf. The venue was quite big, we had about 250 delegates. Started well with a greeting at the top of the stairs with a drink before the dining area was opened up. The dining area was very large and it had quite nice views of the cloud across the water. The service was top notch, very friendly staff who were helpful and nice. Best part was the food. You don't expect much from conference dinners but this one was really nice. Large selection of different foods and the quality was decent. It was the same for the dessert although the creme caramel kept running out. They also had options for those with dietary requirements on a separate table. All and all a very nice conference venue.

Great location and view… (As long as there are no cruise ships in). A little dated in the room decor, but pretty quiet and comfortable.

Great location. But unimpressive service, both in the restaurant and, in particular, at the front desk. The front desk people couldn’t get their story straight. And they did odd things. For instance, as a gold member, they give two drinks in their bar (from a limited drink menu) free. Sunday morning I woke up to find two vouchers-for use between limited hours Saturday night-under my door. Actually would have been nice to have those before they expired! Even worse, when I checked in they said they could not upgrade me to a room with a view because they were full. Then, 5 minutes later, a different person at the front desk upgraded my friend to a view room when he checked in. So, nice location and I’d recommend it because of that, but for no other reason. And good luck getting coffee served at breakfast. You’ve got to chase someone down for that.

We stayed for two nights before starting our road trip across NZ. The hotel is located in the heart of the downtown right on the waterfront, so the view is amazing. As a Hilton member, I checked in ahead of arrival and picked a room. When I arrived, a different room was provided (the same location of the room but a lower floor) which was very disappointing. Although the front desk personnel apologized and provided a free bottle of wine and drink coupons for the bar, since I do not care about alcohol but really care about the view, I was not too happy with this. The room was a bit small and too much space wasted in the bathroom due to terrible design decisions around where to position bathtub, counters, etc. Also, for the price of the room, I would expect to have actual drip coffee in the room and not freeze dried coffee. The selection of teas was very good though. Breakfast was very good, and the service was good as well.

Couldn't fault the service or the room. Really nice touches like welcoming congratulatory note with chocolates in our room and a beautiful congratulatory plate with our meal. The entire staff including those who took care of our car and luggage were amazing and very helpful. We will definitely g there again. In fact it may well be pur 24th September go-to bolt hole! Thank you for being so good.

Very nice hotel, the 5 stars don't need any explanation. The service was more than friendly and the room was amazing with quite the view. However, there is quite the price tag accompanying this.

Outstanding overall experience! The room, the public areas and the service is simply great. My wife and I will remember our stay here forever.

The service standard of the staff was among the best I have encountered in this country. Consistent across different roles too. The room (509) was substandard. The bathroom had not been properly cleaned (child hand prints in the tile area among other signs) and the lower shower sills showed obvious rot in the timbers, plus the lowest edges of the door and sills looked to have lacked a good scrub in some time. Both of us were struck enough by this that we purchased cleaning material and cleaned the tub before using it (to be sure it was done properly). For the price point I was disappointed — suggest people wanting to stay around that area consider the Heritage instead.

It is a nice hotel, but isn't as nice as it appears. All the decoration and style is great but functionally the rooms are a little frustrating. The most alarming was that our balcony was connected to the 3 rooms next to us. It's a little weird having your curtains open and knowing someone next door could walk right up to your door and see into your room. The shower is small and all glass. It looks nice but it leaves a space by the door and water drips out, soaking the floor if you shower for more than 10 minutes. The bath faucet pours right into the drain nob so the water splashes all over the floor if you're going to take a bath. The beds are great and comfortable with a wide selection of pillows, but outlets are only on one side of the bed which makes it hard for cell phone charging with two people. The restaurant looked nice but at $49 a person for breakfast it didn't seem worth it. We had a nice stay, and it's in a nice location but for that price, I feel like we could have had some nicer amenities.

Great location. Contemporary styling. Concierge provided some great recommendations for walk-able restaurants. Fish cafe/restaurant has nice outlook in the morning for breakfast. Interconnecting room had some noise transfer. Helpful and friendly staff.

They dry cleaned my suit at a moment's notice and free of charge. The service was exceptional and the view amazing. The harbour side can be somewhat noisy in the morning if there are cruise ships in.

The bar manager Arthur is very knowledgeable about his Whiskeys. The service is really slow but that was par for the course in NZ.

Very friendly and welcoming however staff indicated I would be given a 'harbour view' which was not the case. Staff also gave conflicting information on whether frequent flyer points would be earned during my stay. The room was dated and there was no complimentary water in the room which is a first for me at a 5 star hotel!

Personalized service, beautiful views, nice rooms. Was really surprised by the huge cruise ship Voyager Of The Seas in the window of my room in the morning! Very warm and happy memories!

Nice hotel. Cruise ships docking right next to your window is a little annoying if you want quite time. Also they should should have free Wi-Fi especially when how much the hotel is per night. Other than that, it's a great location and has a nice restaurant.
