Great place to stay, nice quiet room overlooking the pool, room was clean and restaurant was great, had a dinner there and breakfast every day, which was included, breakfast was amazing, nice and hot/fresh and plenty of choice.
Nice walk into the CBD and easy access to ferry.
I left some items behind and they were efficient in sending them on to me.
Would recommend and would definitely book again.

Asked for a quiet room. Was told that would happen. Very noisy. Guests having loud sex through the wall at 5pm and playing loud music till 11pm. Plus lots of road noise. Avoid.

Used to stay a lot but no more. Kept me waiting 45 minutes to check in because their Web site had taken my money but failed to process the booking. Apologised 3 days later but no acknowledgement of my 45 minutes sitting in front of reception trying to sort it out. Also the lift has been broken for months. A place to avoid these days.

Stayed here for 1 night on 10th July, room was clean but very dated. Bathroom really small. Hotel needs an upgrade, reception carpet (not even sure it was carpet) was terrible. Very noisy right on the road. Staff were polite and helpful. We had room service and the food was good. Did the job for the night but would not return.

Awesome food totally recommend the restaurant/bar, Swimming pool Area was great. Rooms okay. Loved our stay at Auckland Rose Park hotel.

Adequate accommodation. Nice restaurant for buffet breakfast. Bathroom in unit needed better cleaning. And great shower if your really really short but dangerous to climb out of shower over the side of the bath as it is a big big big drop down. Also would be nice to have a breakfast bowl in the room.

Rude staff (with the exception of cleaners). Toilet seat was broken when we got there so obviously they don’t do a very good check before letting the next people in. The room was really hot so had a horrible sleep. Was told one thing and then when we got there was told another; shit communication between staff. Over $500 for a two night stay in this place is fucking ridiculous. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody. I was willing to give them a chance to change my opinion when we checked out and have a chat but the manager was just rude and argumentative. Overall it was just absolute shit.

Most staff are only there to collect their wages. The room we had has been revamped and has everything you need. Free parking is good. There is no air conditioning in the room. The exterior and hallways etc are looking very tired. This used to be a cheap, good value hotel, but not really anymore. There is a reasonable selection for breakfast, but the quality definitely doesn't have any wow factor.

Generally clean and tidy. This place needs a refresh ASAP. Beds are old and have poor support. Random light fittings with each bulb having a different colour temperature. Rooms next to the road have traffic noise. The water pressure is good, and lots of hot water.

An older style conference venue but I really liked it. Very helpful staff. A smaller and larger room for hire. Quite good restaurant. Tight but adequate parking but we were to a larger conferenc.

Experience slightly tainted as the reason we stayed was due to screw ups in our flight by Air NZ. Room was adequate but could not find any heater. Shower and bath were dated. Staff however were great, welcoming and friendly.

The hotel is very well located, in front of a beautiful park filled with pink, access to the city center is very easy, there are several coffee shop restaurant pharmacy not very far. The reception and the staff Super, the room that one took was clean there was the small fridge with fresh milk inside SDB and toilet very clean. Very nice place, and our room had a view of the SKYTOWER. Great parking and free Wi-Fi at the top.

No air condition only a very small fan, quite useless in hot weather.

Went for a seminar. Nice facilities. I didn't know where to park so parked on road. Food was good just didn't all come out on time and lots left over before going home.

Very well located; clean with dining room serving both as a breakfast bar and also for dinner.
The staff very friendly has a small outdoor pool and tambirn a room Oara laundry.

A fine place to have a meal, a bit pricey though.

Excellent location if you don't want to be in the city. Located across the road from the beautiful rose gardens. Average hotel but well suited for our needs.

Clean, but very weird bathrooms by American standards. The tub was very high off the ground, which made the shower head weirdly short. There is a nice rose garden across the street, and in the morning there's a lovely view of it and a little but of ocean from the over priced breakfast buffet room.

I would never stay at this dump. My booking was never confirmed and this scummy motel will not refund my booking despite not checking in, nor did they attempt to contact me to confirm my booking which would of meant they could book out the room. They would not even change the reservation I have paid for to stay on a different night — Very poor customer service — in fact no customer service as I didn't stay there.

While the rooms are a little dated and threadbare in places, the staff are welcoming and helpful, more than making up for any minor shortcomings. Well located for State Highway 16 and Urban Route 6 but on a quiet road and a short walk from a pleasant park with views across the water.

Top place to stay, the staff are very polite and good location to get to the city. Nice to have free parking so close to the city.

As per Auckland good quality — good price. Near the hotel you can find beautiful garden with roses. It is 5 min to the sea bay. You can have breakfast here. Walls are thin, those you can here all what is going in near by rooms.

Situated next to the Beautiful Rose Park with a top view of the park. Friendly staff to help you when you’re jet lagged and needs rest. Quiet place to rest before catching your flight.

We went for a walk in Robinson Park (Rose Garden) and it was really nice. The hotel was nice.

Very nice place with the park of roses… beautiful of all Colors. The rooms are very decent with good bedding and the price rather affordable. The restaurant is a bit expensive but very good food.

No AC Nice hotel overlooking the rose park but bit over priced in need of renovations.

Amazing rooms, clean as can be, so close to the main street, very good value.

We have a large group and the venue, accommodation and facilities have been perfect for our team. Staff are exceptional and restaurant great. Make sure you include breakfast overlooking the rose garden to start each day.

Clean room but very dated and sparse — really needs an upgrade (especially the bathrooms which are out of the 70's and require you to use a rubber non-slip mat in the shower over the bath tub, which was so old that it didn't work anyway). No air conditioning in the room meant little sleep. House maids did not replace complimentary toiletries (NEVER had that happen in a hotel or motel) ; I had to ask for some, and my colleagues were not replaced. 2 hours comp Wi-Fi for an entire stay does not encourage business people to stay. Absolutely sweltering in the conference room, very unpleasant; the air conditioning units in there were inadequate. Poor service from front of house staff, very unhelpful to a sick colleague. The only positive was the food, the staff in the restaurant, and the room was clean. Very surprised for Parnell! Oh and not appropriate to have staff place 5 star reviews to bump up ratings.

Attractive by its eccentric side and the park of roses nearby but noisy on half of the hotel side street. Affordable price quickly recovered by the restoration. Wi-Fi Limited to 2 hours.

The room was good, clean and comfortable. The beds rather too soft and spongy. The only real complaint is the poor Wi-Fi which was slow and only available for 2 hours a days and a maximum of 200 MB.

I was I. Oressed with the room, spacious and clean and good value for money. Very convenient location and good parking.

The hotel staff are wonderful. The hotel is quite run down like a 30 year old Greek cruise ship. Very busy in Feb/March 2016, with older cruise pax. No AC so I had to move out and change hotels.

Hotel is little dated. But comfortable. The biggest issue is no aircon, and our room was very warm. Fans going to take the edge of. Pool is great. Friendly staff. Would come back out of summer though.

It has no air conditioning, ugly carpet, shower bath is lower na height of a normal person, horrible breakfast. Will cancel my flight and they forced me to go there, and they would not give us the dinner.

We go to sauna there only. Good place, they could improve by cleaning the place.

Attended a meeting here. The attire seemed a bit dated. I wouldn't have felt comfortable if I was required to stay here. The surrounding park however is quite nice.

It's nice but doesn't have air conditioning do staying here in the summer is not recommended (which was we did). Other than no AC the rooms were clean even if only partially renovated and staff was nice and friendly. Good value for money given close to CBD and free parking! Having AC would make it my choice of stay in Auckland!

We had an excellent stay here!

Filthy and overpriced. My room was full of ants and I could hear kids running up and down the hall screaming all evening due to paper thin walls. No idea what chemical storm they use to clean this hellhole but my sinuses rebelled. Go literally anywhere else.

Great service, Great parking, Great rooms, Great atmosphere, just great in general, loved it. The staff was friendly, informative, and helpful. The rooms were clean comfortable and just what we needed after celebrating a 21st birthday. I would highly recommend the Auckland Rose Park Hotel to all travellers from near and far.

We would highly recommend this Hotel to stay at. Excellent service with friendly staff. Very spacious rooms with clean bedding and towels. No problem with car parking. Bus stop outside the Hotel, close to Vector Arena and City. Rose Gardens across the road, lovely walk down to the water. Very impressed with the high quality of the complimentary items. A really enjoyable stay, we will definitely be back again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyed the beautiful view to the Rose Garden which was the best hotel room view I have ever stayed. Very pleasant restaurant with Rose Garden view. Close to CBD, 15 min walk only or catch a bus and travel 4-5 min. Reasonable price per room. The only thing bothered me was towels in our room. They do not smell nice although they look clean. If I travel to Auckland again I will book there again for sure.
