Stayokay Hostel Haarlem Hostel

A wonderful place with reasonably priced private rooms. Included breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

No negatives for my experience at the hostel though it's quite far out from Haarlem train station etc. There is a decent bus service that runs to the center right every thirty minutes to aid this. Overall the hostel did not disappoint.

Great establishment, not too expensive, perfect breakfast, Bikes available (10 €/pers. ), recommended location.

I really liked it three weeks ago by Holland and Belgium.

Very organized. I went to stay with a group of 30 people. The staff was really helpful. They work with utmost responsibility and Hospitality. Lovely rooms to stay. Clean and shinning bathrooms. Quiet and calm place. Loved it!

Great (included) breakfast selection. Nice and prepared personal. The rooms are okay for their price, though you can't fully open the windows and the beds frames are made of metal.

The bar was decent, however I found the alcohol selection was rather limited. Eg no cider, only "fruity beer" which is close, but bitter like beer. A double vodka coke will set you back about €6.50 Other than that, there was plenty of seating, and the staff were friendly.

Good Service, Clean rooms and decent breakfast. Beds couldve been more comfortable but I wouldnt expect anything more than I got for such a cheap price per night.

The room was clean and nice but the location is fairly inconvenient as it's a few miles outside of Haarlem city centre. The doors are also very thin so there's a lot of noise from the hallway in the mornings.

Nice and relaxing place. Rooms are for women and men together, but are clean. In the room you can find toilet shower and sink. Beds are comfortable and breakfast is awesome. On the website the photos make you think this place is much bigger than it actually is, but is still a good place to stay. To go to the city center you should only take one bus, there is a big park near the hostel and you can go to the market by feet. I would sleep there again.

Awful place, I would not stay here again. No staff @ lunch… I had to wait to get my bags and make my taxi wait for airport. Its very basic, no nice area to hang out, the pictures are deceiving as they changed around the furniture a bit, so for example the common area, is just a smelly busy restaurant, with a small couch in the corner. There is no nice place to sit and relax if youre looking for a little bit of quiet. Just stay in your room! :P.

It's pretty quite cut off from the noisy place clean and well maintained place.

Shocked because I found a sanitary towel under my duvet and a buddy had defecations on his bed no respect for the guests and the more the food is cold and tasteless. Disappointed I did not expect this.

The Stayokay de Haarlem youth hostel is very nice, located near a large park. Very good reception and the dorms very good.

Staff really nice and king. Clean rooms, quiet garden where have a beer and relax. Really nice place!

This is just simply the greatest place to stay when visiting Amsterdam & surrounding areas!
I was hesitant at first about the distance from Haarlem old center, but it's a quick bus ride away
Also, the beautiful natural surroundings make it worth the effort!
And the staff are all SO nice & helpful…
And last but not least, they even have a great cozy bar with an excellent selection of beers including several from Jopen!
Highly recommended!

Stay ok is an amazing hostel I deffinately recommend it. The staff is cpurtious, beds are clean. As a hostel the only inconvinence was that there weren't light plugs to charge your phone from the bed. But having a park right behind the place that leads up to a grocery store and town was really nice.
