Owl Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Great location. Rooms are clean and comfortable with phone and TV. Bathroom was spotless and had shower and tub. (not sure if all rooms have both. ) Breakfast is good with eggs,, sliced meats, tea, coffee fruits, juice yogurt, cheese, breads, pastries and cereal. Hotel staff knew our names after the first day. Nice patio and sitting area (comes with friendly cat) and small bar. Hotel stairs are steep but has elevator for those who need it. Rooms are standard European, small size compared to US or Australia, no AC (not needed) and no wash cloth (typical for Europe) Location is easy walking distance to Rijks museum, Leidesplein, Vondel Park and many restaurants. Street parking but pay parking garage 20 yards away. You can stay at the big hotels around the corner for three times the price but why would you. Bus 397 is a short walk and goes to and from Schipol Airport for 6 euro Bus takes credit card or pre-bought ticket.

Charming house and a decent location towards the edge of Amsterdam. It's located in the Leidesplein neighborhood, which is known for it's eating and nightlife. The museum district is also not far to the southeast. A good value hotel due to its less central location while still being proximal to quality restaurants and museums.

Good for price very nice staff but had to leave room key when leaveing hotel which I found strage. Also no air con just fan which was unbearable when I stayed as heat wave hit.

Close to absolutely everything and not terribly pricey. We even got a free upgrade! Nice rooms, clean and accomodating bathrooms. One of better stays at a hotel — don't let the star rating fool you!

We stayed for a city break for 4 nights in a double room. There is a lift and also a (steep) staircase. The lobby was manned at all times and night owls can still be (by doorbell) at the hotel. The décor is modern, rooms were cleaned daily well, the beds comfortable and there was always hot water when we were showering. Only noise from the neighbouring rooms could be heard quite loudly. Breakfast is quantitatively sufficient and qualitatively good for a not too long stay — in addition, sometimes the (roundish) Hotel Cat is passing by the breakfast tables. The location is great, within a 5-minute walk you can find tram lines that take you anywhere in Amsterdam.

It is a good place to stay. The people who work in the hotel are really kind. The ubication, the room and breakfast were what I expected.

The hotel has a fairly central location and offers many activities nearby. We chose the hotel because of its proximity to the Vondelpark and the city centre. The rooms and the hotel look very nice and well looked after. The room size was as expected but had pretty thin walls. The staff and the hotel cat are very friendly.

The room was Piccobello clean and rather plain, bathroom and furniture not brand new, but you feel comfortable. At night it was absolutely quiet. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful (fruit, cereal, yogurt, croissants, buns, toast, sausage and cheese, jams, scrambled eggs, juices, coffee). The breakfast room with its large windows to the pretty garden was very appealing. The staff was super friendly. The location is perfect: You can walk to the city centre and the museums are just a stone's throw away. The houses in the street are great and a small park is around the corner, as well as many cosy restaurants and bars.

Clean, easy access to tourist attractions and for the price one of the best deal I had in my 5 trips to Amsterdam for seminar weekends in 2017. Wish I would have found them for my first trip.

It has been an enriching journey to the beautiful city its way of life what most impress are bicycles the a there are hundreds parked in the streets nobody touches them and the charisma the people of all the countries their amavilidad everything. ' The channels the house of Ana Fran I recommend it to Tod @ s and I'm stuck with Amsterda and I think Holland is one of the most vonitos countries in the world.

Hotel with great location, in fact this property is located near the museum area.
Unfortunately beds and rooms should be revised.
But the kindness of the staff and the enviable location make you forget the rooms not tastefully but still clean.

I booked this hotel with CONFIRMATION NUMBER: 1479420791 and PIN code: 2123 and cancelled this next day, within free cancellation period. But, they cut 100.8 Euro from my credit card. After cancellation, I contacted customer care for refund of Euro 100.80. They said, they will deposit this amount in my credit card in between 5-7 days. But more than 15 days passed they have not deposited anything.

Good hotel The staff is friendly and attentive… Only negative, there is no air conditioning only a small fan.

Well priced hotel in a good location. The staff is friendly, and we were able to leave our bags before check-in while we explored the city a little. It could use a little modernization, but it's clean and inviting.

Very nice staff and a good location for Museums and the canals. If you are unsure of anything to do with local restaurants, directions, or just looking to talk, the hotel staff is awesome and will do whatever they can to make you feel welcome. It felt more like we were guests in their home than guests in their hotel. The rooms are small, as is the lift (elevator for North Americans), but this place serves it's purpose as a great, safe, and friendly, place to sleep and explore from.

We start from the positive aspects:
1) Reliability and availability of the staff.
2) Location: We are right at the beginning of the central circle of canals, 20 min from Dam Square, connected with the airport, 30 min from Central Station, etc.
Negative aspects:
1) Old and small rooms. In ours we didn't even have a whole bathroom but the tiny sink was directly in the room; In the bathroom (large as a closet) there was only shower and toilet.
2) Breakfast unnecessarily expensive. Much better looking out though you are in the middle of the city.
3) attention to the rooms facing the back: in the weekend you will find yourself in the middle of a rave
4) No soundproof rooms. You will be able to feel almost the breath of your neighbors.

Very well located, just a few minutes walk from the square of Leindsplein where there are all the trams. Hotel a bit old but clean, comfortable and staff friendly. We use a triple room and it was quite wide. Highly recommended to visit Amsterdam.
