The location is great, close to many shops, bars and restaurants. The bed's are really comfy, however rooms are quite small, towels and bedding were stained but the rest of room was fairly clean. Good for a short stay.

This is the worse place that you can stay in Amsterdam, please don't even think in waisting your money and time going there! The rooms are super small, the building is in poor condition so and the room doesn't even have outside ventilation and of course you don't have a/c so the heat in summer time plus not outside ventilation was a completely nightmare. I felt like I was in a jail and they only gave us a dirty extra fan for us to be able to breathe in this inhumane place. It's not fair to pay $100 per night in this horrible place. They own the hotel half block away and you realize that when you see the sign in the hotel entrance but they don't have staff for both hotels (to save money) so you have to walk all the way back to the other hotel to do the check in and out. The receptionist was super friendly and he tried to help us with this jail room (we did appreciate that) Shame on the owner!

Hotel with average facilities, but it is understandable view of the price. If not on the edge of the city center so it's beautiful.

Poor value, but in line with Amsterdam. In the building and in the room there is often foul smell of sewage and the rooms are not routinely redone. It is to be satisfied, but not suitable for demanding people.

Strong stink on the stairs. No elevator.

Modest accommodation, large rooms one bed plus one metre. If you just need to rest it's okay. Pretty neat. The area is very well served, which is not to be underestimated.

Stayed here for 4 nights, 25th March — 29th March 2018. I was worried about staying here as I read some bad reviews, but honestly it wasn’t bad at all and I had a great stay! A perfect little hotel for the city. The location was perfect and there is a lovely pancake place near by! The bed was comfy, the bathroom was clean, my towels had no holes in them! Also, I had a beautiful view of the canal. I had read reviews about the window looking out into the stairway but from what I can gather that’s only if you book a room that has ‘no view’, so if you don’t want to be in that situation, don’t book a room with no view! It was a little noisy but that’s what you get from city breaks, fortunately the noise didn’t keep me up at night. Lastly, the maid service came round at 10/11am they were a little bit noisy but at that time of day the noise didn’t bother me. Overall, I would recommend this hotel! Just to inform the reception is at a hotel called ‘Hotel Blossom’ which is roughly two/three buildings down from Aston City.

Certainly, well located but what a horror!
Room not maintained. Only two vulgar towels put on the floor.
Windows that don't close. With a room overlooking the main road, I felt like I was sleeping outside.
And that's not all…
-5 degrees outside and no heating.
Finally, they took 30 minutes to find our suitcases deposited in the morning to the luggage.

I stayed for 4 days with my boyfriend. A small room, dust on the window and on the back of the bed, cobwebs at the corners of the ceiling and on the television, although they do every day housekeeping are never removed.
We were charged €15 before we left, only after I realized that they had not given me a receipt and that the money pocketed them.

The staff was very helpful, the room was very clean and the breakfast was a little more than a half a block away (or else the hotel was on the other side), a cigarette smell in the bedroom, outside very noisy, no air conditioning (or wrong). There's no parking.
The only thing is the location.
If used only to sleep inside everything goes.

Value. There is no lift and the floor in the room was slanted. Good location and perfect to spend a few days.

I moved away on the ground floor, the beds were sideways, the windows faced a yard full of rubbish including condoms, joints, etc. The doors do not close well, there is a vending machine of food (snacks) in the door that there entered everyone who wanted because the door did not close.
The reception of the "Hotel" is on the corner of the street, my TV did not work it took 3 days in Cambiarmela, the small mega beds… We're going a disaster of siege.

Perfect location but very poor facility management. Owners/workers started to make very loud noise early in the morning right in front of the hotel. Also they knocked our door 4 times for housekeeping and check-out reminder which was very aggressive.

Confortable room with private bathroom for a reasonable price! The reception is on the hotel at the corner, just a minute walking away. Good location. I would recommend for young travelers in small groups.

Hotel in the norm, great location and nice staff available 24/24h. Unpretentious bedroom, well done bathroom. Everything OK if it wasn't for a bad smell coming from the sink. Low price considered the average of Amsterdam. All in all advised.

Very expensive for what we have been given. A room on the 5 floor, very small, with the window that overlooks the interior stairs and that does not close, enters air and cold, the beds makes it better a child of 6 years. Neither repeat nor recommend of course. The only decent thing is the location, the rest is very bad.

The house keepers are seriously bad at their job, they literally go around the hotel banging on all walls and stairs super early in the day. They even barged into the room trying to give towels when we said we didn't want any and not once did I hear them say "housekeeping". What would have happened if I wasn't in at the time? 100% do not leave any valuables in the room as they even state that they are not liable for any items lost. Which makes it seriously suspicious as the house keepers just barge in using their key.

On arrival, our room wasn't cleaned. It was litaraly full of garbage all over the place. The man at the reception was very friendly and cleaned everything up right away. Next morning we had a late checkout. However, 2 hours before checkout a guy entered the room to check the fire alarm. We were still in bed. An hour later the room next door was getting cleaned and the staff was screaming very loud. Reception is friendly, but a lot of stuff went wrong. The rooms are also very small but don't feel dirty (when they are cleaned).

Great location near the trams the main museums and Central station about half an hour walk away. Small room but very clean and clean, with bathroom and private shower always well maintained.

Shortly after I got to my room I called the chap at reception and asked if I could change from a ground floor to a 1st, 2nd or 3rd floor room. He said that they were fully booked that night (fair enough) but that he could sort a 3rd floor room for me the following night. I'm writing this (at the time agreed) from my fabulous 3rd floor room looking onto the canal. It's made my holiday, absolutely. It was great to deal with really friendly and helpful people. Big thumbs up from me! These guys are top drawer.

The location of the hotel is just on the outskirts of the city which make it convenient to get anything where. The room it's self is very basic, with the main reception in the hotel down the road. They leave towls at the bottom of the stair case leave a wet damp smell in the main corridor.

Clean enough but expensive for a bed and a shower.

The service was very good, the availability was nice, the location was calm and convenient. The rooms were very nice indeed.

The location is great, two minutes from the heart of the Pijp district. The reception on the other hand is not great and the rooms, in any case on the ground floor, are quite noisy.

The room itself was fine, with simply two beds, a TV, private bathroom, and nothing else. Our issue with the place was with the reception. They asked for our passport number, and when I asked out of curiosity why, they didn't know. The receptionist also had my full credit card number, with no digits blocked out, sitting on her desk face up. This left us with some insecurity about our personal information being exposed. The other part that was annoying was that you aren't allowed to have food or drinks in the room. Do they not clean it well enough to get food if it spills? Makes us question some basic cleaning. Overall, the room itself was fine and in a good location, but would not stay again given these other factors.

Probably the worst and dirtiest place I've ever stayed.

This is a hostel more like. Cant believe it's 3 star not worth the star or the price! Looked more like a 50euro hotel than 150euro! Its not sound proof, so if you hear asbos and slappers all the way from UK screaming and shouting at 4am, dont be surprise.

This place is NOT a Hotel for staters. Hostel if anything The receptionist has no idea about their own booking system Our room was meant for 5. There was 11 un made beds, no tv, the heating consisted of 2 small oil heaters and in late November this doesnt quite warm a room the size we were put in The breakfast was meant to finish at 10.30, we arrived at 9.45 to find only cereal left Would not recommend at all.

We will strongly advice against any use of this hotel. Small uncomfortable rooms, bad beds, bad service, bad breakfast — but the most disturbing was that my gold chain with a gold cross was stolen from my purse lying on the table in the room. Dont ever visit that hotel.

I would recommend AGAINST this hotel. I think that a 3 star rating is a complete misrepresentation of the hotel and its features. There were NO amenities — — no nightstand next to bed (the phone was on the floor) ; no drawers for clothing (we used our suitcases) ; missing remote control for tv; no room to stand (only room for beds in the room) ; This hotel was equivalent to a youth hostel — — and would be appropriate to be listed as one. It was clean. But that's about it.
