Fabulous location for visiting our favorite places l in the city…. Easy to get to from station and to go to the river cruise boat at the end of our stay. Concierge provided excellent recommendations for restaurants. Loved the bar, especially silly the smoky old fashioned that is the specialty. Rooms were nicely modernized and upgraded, very comfortable beds. Quiet even though overlooking the bust station area. Overall highly recommended.

Historically it is the first hotel built in Amsterdam and it’s location directly across from Central Station.
The staff is top notch with the best care as the anticipate your every wish. In the lounge you can enjoy the floor to ceiling windows offering you front row seats to the hustle and bustle of trains, trams, buses, and bikes. Enjoy one of their signature cocktails before dining in their 5 star “farm to table” restaurant. Everything served is grown and raised within 100 kilometers of the hotel.

With the exception of the concierge, this has been a terrible stay, and I still have 3 nights to go. No one helped me with my bags during check in even though there is terrible construction all through the area. This requires walking blocks with very heavy baggage for a long stay. And there are stairs to drag luggage up. They just sat and watched my struggle. When I got to my room, the AC did not work. They charge an INSANE amount for laundry service and offer no alternative options. There is no water in the room. You have to pay for it. Tonight, (third night here) my AC stopped working again They offered me a room on a lower floor of lesser value and with a less amazing view. If you have a stay longer than 2 days, pick another hotel. The restaurant on site, has horrible service. My food came before my drink and the bread was so hard it was inedible.

Lovely clean room, spacious and coffee machine. Great breakfast and helpful friendly staff. A little bit. Of. Work. Going. On outside the hotel but didnt really hear it where I was. 7th floor. What I did get was with the high winds a lot. If creaking and bumping from signs on the roof. Not bad enough to keep me awake though. Would recommend. Nliterally 2 mins walk from Amestedam Centraal Station. 5.50e to the airport single. Easy access to trams and metro.

Great views, great rooms and quiet.

Great access to train station, food, and nice clean rooms. Down side is, even if rooms are available they will not give you the room keys until 2pm. When you are traveling internationally you just want to get in your room and unwind when you arrive. Direct flights from LAX land at 9am.

Really enjoying our stay at Park Plaza Victoria. Amazing bar and restaurant staff, can't do enough for you, their food and drink recommendations have been spot on. Such a relaxed atmosphere in this historic hotel in the busy heart of this city.

Great location and wonderful entrance.

Had a nice stay, rooms are nice. Restaurant in hotel has good food & desserts. Was conveniently close to everything. The biggest downfall is that their pool/spa in under construction, no where on their website or upon checking in does anyone ever mention that, prices should honestly be lowered due to this.

We had a nice time here, and the hotel room was perfect, nice and clean, big and with a perfect view and in the city centre og Amsterdam, perfect.

No vegan options at this hotel. It's ridiculous. I'm not coming back. They made me a salad and it was the saddest salad ever, try didn't even try to do something nice… horrible experience, I had to go out every time I was hungry.

Fantastic stay, staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent, spacious and luxurious rooms. Loved the pool area and the sauna was superb, so luxurious.

Stayed here from Sunday March 3rd to Tuesday March 4th very comfortable stay with a loaded fridge and amazing shower, the hotel is situated in the center of Amsterdam and is very close to all attractions. Staff were very helpful and the fact that they gave us an umbrella without charge was a very nice touch. I was blown away by the city and the hotel and can not wait to return thank you park plaza.

Excellent Hotel in a Fantastic Location! I stayed here with my Father and Two Brothers whilst on my brothers Stag Do. On arrival we were a little disappointed by the welcome from the staff on the reception desk, they were rather unhelpful and quite rude, however, the staff on the customer relations desk and the concierge were very polite and helpful. The rooms are modern, spacious, clean and you hear no external noise at night. The bathroom is immaculate and comes with all the amenities you would expect. I was a little disappointed to find in a 4 star hotel that you had to pay for water (still & sparkling) in the mini bar, you would normally get this included and only pay for other drinks. The location is incredible, just a 5 minute walk from the Amsterdam Central Station, Red light District aswell as many other attractions. The hotel security is very good, we arrived back late every night, early hours of the morning and we found two night porters in the lobby every night, the revolving doors are locked and manually activated when you arrive so you know your safe within the premises. The night porters were very friendly, welcome you back and ask if you've had a good evening. Overall I really enjoyed the stay here and would definitely return, I would have loved to give them 5 stars but unfortunately the poor attitude of the reception team reduced it to a 4 star.

Great location directly opposite the Central Station, enables you to walk the downtown neighborhoods or take any tram that stops at the Centraal station to get to almost anywhere in Amsterdam. They have a reasonably priced restaurant and bar as well and a well equipped gym, pool & sauna. Staff is very helpful. Would recommend 10/10.

Great Place to stay. Recommended for first time visitor. Because the location of the hotel is directly at the centraal train station. Which leads you to and off the Airport. The morning Buffet has multiple offers. Also freshly baked bread. The employees are very kind and will help you with information how to reach your flight or any other question you have. 5 stars and see you next time.

Great hotel in a fantastic location. Hotel is contemporary and comes with a pretty cool bar. Drinks in the bat are a little pricey. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Outside the hotel everything is right there, train station, ferries, cycle lanes. Bars and restaurants all close by. Rooms were clean and comfortable and it is nice to see a well stocked fridge the room. Would definitely stay again the next time I am in Amsterdam.

Brilliant location immediately opposite the main station (buses, trams, boats and bikes too). Busy, but this is part of its charm. Restaurant is good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I was checked into a room on the first floor and I asked to be moved up because of the street noise. This was absolutely no trouble and I was offered a choice of two on the 5th floor. I took the one at the front overlooking the station. Breakfast was included and it was a good buffet choice. It was very convenient for all the major sights and, of course, the transport links were just outside. Beautiful and big spa with a fitness center. Recommended.

A bit more time to get in and out (ca10 min) would be good and that there are also really only buses have the rights. And please a bit more understanding for US bus drivers It is ech not so easy to drive in big cities (parking) for coaches.

It was totally a great Experience. I feel delighted with the courtesy and helpfulness of the people who works there. It starts from the Lobby Man (who winks at the end of the conversation. Sorry I forgot his name), The receptionists, even the house keeping lady. The rooms were too good the over all ambiance is fantastic. The location is just opposite to the center railway station and near to many tourist agents.

What a complete disappointment. We chose this hotel cause of it's location and heated indoor swimming pool and they way they've lured you into thinking it's this Grand Hotel with the photos they've used on their website. Upon entering our room it stunk of cigarette smoke the communal hotel swimming pool was empty — no mention of this on their website either!. If it was I would of searched for another hotel. Admittedly after 2 days of moaning that the room still stank they did offer another room, but still took 2 days. I appreciate the staff can only do so much, but the Manager needs to wake up. I'm really annoyed that this establishment holds 4 stars, when they only deserving of maybe a 2. If it's any consolation the staff are polite and friendly.

Fantastic hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Spotlessly clean. Great decor… great location 2mins from Central Station and Dam square. Rooms are lovely. Breakfast was super with a fabulous choice and plenty of fruit and fresh juice for vegans. high recommended. We would return here again. I would give it a 5* but for the fact that they do not have a room "instructions" leaflet in the rooms. All the other nice hotels have a booklet with information about the hotel and amenities. The number to dial for the Reception area. How to gain access to the pool etc. We had to keep asking around to get this information. the air con was not working on our first night and I spent a terribly uncomfortable hot night with fitful rest… it was only on the second evening that I found out that the air con on the whole floor was broken. Not all the staff knew this when I twice asked for help in order to get it to work in our room. I was then offered a mobile fan which I gratefully received. the fact we were not informed of this whole issue shows the hotel needs to improve communication on such matters amongst staff. all in all a lovely, relaxing stay with wonderful staff. Well done to the staff for their diligence and hard work! give them all a pay raise!

The hotel is fantastic, the rooms spacious with all the amenities, and a nice bed. Breakfast was great with a wide variety of products from hot to cold. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and always have a smile. Our stay has been perfect, besides this in the center which allows to walk to all the places of interest.

It’s an amazing hotel, right across the central station. The beauty and grandeur of the hotel is easily experienced as soon as one enters… the staff is extremely helpful and friendly with ready suggestions for visiting the city and nearby attractions. Very well kept rooms with multiple amenities available 24 hours. I would recommend everyone visiting Amsterdam to pick park plaza Victoria as their place of stay. Worth the money spent! A superb hotel with very friendly, helpful staff at all levels making my wife and I feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble, a staff member even helped me to acquire an item I had been searching for to no avail in the city shops. All done with a cheerful smile. Our room was clean and comfortable, dining room experience faultless too. The hotel location was good and convenient for access to most places of interest. We'd certainly stay again.

Was absolutely lovely. Room was delightful. Staff were extremely helpful and would go out of their way to help you. Central location most places less than 20 mins away. Would definitely recommend.

Just visited the lobby bar. They served nice champagne. Otherwise the place looked as if it had had better days. Worn out here and there. But they are about to renovate and then hopefully things will look a bit better and classy. Otherwise they just waste the potential of a good location.

The location is great, literally across the street from the Central station, so no having to drag your luggage through the streets. As with most things here, it's old, but well kept. Staff is attentive and looking to help.

The restaurant is good. It has good location and good views.

From the positive. A very convenient location of the hotel. Nearby all the traffic interchanges. The staff are friendly and attentive.
Out of the negative. The hotel is easy to get lost, because it consists of several buildings with a complex system of elevators and elevators.
One more moment. A mini-bar. The staff clogs the fridge with drinks. In order to use the refrigerator you have to unload it all. But if there was a free space — immediately at the maintenance of the room the refrigerator again clogged.

Good hotel. Super central location. In front of the. Central station. To the side of everything! The. Wing rooms urban are a pass. Are great. If you catch offer, you will come out very well on the trip. Fully recommended. Canal cruiser, trams, and buses practically at the door.

This is Amsterdam, baby. There are no words, only your presence, there was a day, exactly not enough, at least 3 days. Day of sex, second drugs, third shopping. A sea of impressions, just super!

4 star hotel really sucks!
It my made pay €300 because I smoke in my room I do not think I had no right.
Se I pay se I get out of the hotel €1500 the week in the end I could totally go to the Caribbean with all the expenses it my bill!
I do not really recommend this hotel "4 stars"

Got upgraded to urban junior suite. Everything was smooth. No complaints.

160euros a night, room small, old-fashioned, banal, the equivalent d a room at 50 euros. They put all the money in the lobby, but the rooms are shabby… a good place for the pool.

This is a really nice hotel in the middle of Amsterdam, just next to the main station. It has a really nice interior. The entry hall is welcoming and the staff very friendly and super efficient! I had my room within 1 minute as all my check-in details and key were already prepared and waiting for me. Part of the rooms are in a separate building that you reach via a "bridge" over one of the side roads. It was actually very nice as all the Christmas decorations were already out and you could see all the lights through the windows in the connection. However, it also meant that you had to take two lifts and slowed it somewhat down. But efficiency is for the manufacturing side, not a hotel stay! The rooms were very functional and very comfortable. The mini bar was well equipped and there was free Wi-Fi with perfect reception anywhere in the room. Plenty of TV stations in most languages so even if you don't work you can pass your time I guess. I only had breakfast in the hotel but that was certainly well above standard! Very rich English breakfast buffet, plenty of juices, cheese, salmon, etc. Check-out was also a breeze and no problem at all.

Nice location near to lots of store, I have a window facing to the central station that is quite good view. The furniture is quite old, but still ok.

Unfriendly front desk staff. Expect housekeepers to invade your room regardless whether you post the “do not disturb” sign or not, it happened to me twice! You need to take two elevators to get to your room. Prepare yourself for a blocked view room. In-room safe was not working properly. The only good thing about this hotel was the location.

Staff are very friendly, helpful. Location is perfect for a short vacation in Amsterdam, breakfast is very good, rooms are nice when you can have a room with a view, hotel is clean — I enjoyed my 4 nights stay very much.

Well to start, the location is excellent. Right next to the central station and near all the tourist ticket and information offices. My checkin experience was disappointing. I checked in, got my key card, went up to the room, door didn't open. Went back down, re programmed, up again, still. I did this 3 times until they agreed to send someone up with me to see what's going on. Room was clean, bit small even for one person. Breakfast was OK not much variety tho.

Great location, very nice staff. Attention request a room in the urban (urban wing) wing modern and comfortable. In the other part of the hotel the rooms are dated.
