If you must stay in a hotel this is the hotel to stay in. I especially enjoyed the luxury of a bathtub and the pool. The option of a gym was nice, not that I'd ever go there. The room was nice and spacious, the bed was comfortable and I appreciated there was a clothing iron. I think I'd go to Den Haag again purely to stay in this hotel.

This is a fine location to host meetings. A nice coffee with cookies arrangement, and snacks and lunch are well done. The room has lots of daylight (at least the one we had), although power cords are needed to distribute power through the room.

Die Lage des Hotels war für unsere Zwecke ideal. Sowohl der Strand als auch das Zentrum von Den Haag könnten wir zu Fuß erreichen. Das Hotel entsprach unseren Erwartungen. Das stylische Ambiente hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Das Zimmer war sauber und komfortabel. Das Frühstück ist gut aber nicht so überwältigend wie man bei dem Preis erwartet.

One of the best hotels of the chain ; great location — walking distance to many attractions and in the center of the park and on the edge of one of the poshest residencies in DenHaag. Tram is right infront of the hotel and you can get to any place very conveniently. The hotel itself is very posh, well kept and clean ; the front desk is exceptionally friendly and helpful! We were given great treatment right from the time we walked into the hotel till we left on day 3. Highly recommend it. The bar is really cool and serves great drinks.

The El Hotel kitchen is great.
French not a word!
The noise does not talk about it: Air Co and fans that L have heard, even those from outside!
The worst is today 1 truck that makes a huge noise since very early, impossible to sleep even if you want.
If we stay a week, we can't rest!

Great hotel, everything is up to par!

The hotel is located in a nice green area and everything is quite nice H O W E V E R if you are so unlucky to go for a dinner in a lobby restaurant — better read this! We made that terrible MISTAKE and booked a table for us 2 adults and 2 little children for 7pm… which was confirmed and all that. We prepaid a 3-course dinner as part of the package, sat there and waited for 1 hour (o-n-e hour! ) to get only to a starter… then for another hour nothing while kids got grumpy and so did we being so hungry after an afternoon in the swimming pool. We asked 3 times if we can get it sooner and were told it was on the way and again — nothing. They were blaming it on the kitchen saying they have no clue how much longer it will take… we got so frustrated as we didn't plan to spend whole evening of our 1-night stay in Scheveningen waiting for a dinner… utterly frustrated! Eventually after 2 hours we got the main course, and already then asked for our dessert to be ready. Of course the answer was 'no problem'. After finishing the main course we waited for another half an hour for dessert, and seeing no sign of it coming, we just left not being able to wait any longer. We came in at 7pm and left at 9.30pm as it was pointless sitting there any longer starring at the ceiling. Although the food was tasty the overall experience was terrible therefore 1/5 stars from us.

… for 3 days O. K. A bit far outside, typical Touri breakfast served unlovingly, cold scrambled eggs with cold bacon, rooms were cleaned only in the afternoon! All in all too expensive, at most 3 stars worth!

Nice hotel. The rooms are comfortable, the room has both a shower and a bath. Hoooshij view from the window. The room is tidy every day. The food is buffet style with a wide variety of dishes.

Stayed here with my wife for a weekend trip. The hotel was ok, rooms clean, wellness also nice, breakfast was rather average, considering the hotel rating we weren't impressed. Also senior staff at the bar should be flirting less with female guests and focus more on giving guidance to more junior staff.

Very luxurious room with beautiful view. 10min to the centre of the Hague or 10min to the promenade of Scheveningen! Very friendly staff, great parking, nice spa area and an excellent varied breakfast!

Comfortable Hotel, has safe in the room, coffee maker, refrigerator, a few minutes from shopping mall and restaurants by bus. Free Internet, it is cozy and quiet to be able to rest.

To me it seems comfortable, clean and has the means of transport near.

Nice hotel with perfect location to reach much of the Hague on foot. The breakfast is very varied and tasty. Here and there, it could be a tad cleaner.

The hotel is very comfortable and nice, close to public transport, but very far from Amsterdam, like 1 hours and 20. It doesn't have many options to eat outside, there is only one gas station opposite and a Starbucks. It is necessary to move at least 15 minutes to The Hague or to the beach for shopping centers or restaurants. It's nice to have apples in the hotel. The hotel restaurant is a bit expensive.

Overall we are very satisfied and would be awarded 4, 5 stars. The criticisms that we have are grumbling at a high level: saunas are only allowed in bathing clothes; Used dishes were slowly or not cleared at the ample breakfast buffet; No fresh towels available on the 2nd day of your stay.
Otherwise only praise: Nice, modern room furnishings; Friendly and courteous staff and excellent gastronomy.

Very clean and friendly hotel. Apart from the comfort of the bed, all was well.

Pesimo service we had to wait almost 4 hrs to give us room and like to ' ' compensate ' ' the wait only juice and a canapes very X not even a dinner or something that really half compensate the long wait as we came from Mexico.
We have to stay here because the company here leaves us but that dedagradable that the hotel does this type of GROSERIAA because it is nothing else, we have been working not to walk.
2 days ago They left 3 companions without room because they came a group and them if they could not wait or anything, for them if they had room ready.
With this experience the hotel is not recommended not the first time this happens to us.

Great luxury hotel right next to the World Forum Convention Centre in Den Haag. Great service. Nice personel! Great food! Esspecially the breakfast and brunch. The rooms are very clean and are getting cleaned every day. The gym, indoor pool and spa are great to calm the mind. And the interior is very nice and clean. I highly recommend it!

Much better than expected. The balcony rooms in particular are simple — in a good way — and the beds are very comfortable. Delightful staff and a nice sauna downstairs.

The Crown Plaza is nestled in a green area, which is an off leash area, with a lot of walking area (and a lake if you wish to rent a boat). The hotel is also dog friendly allowing me to bring my pet. The hotel staff were superb going above and beyond on a daily basis for everyone.

Really friendly staff, which I appreciate. I definitely feel I received 5 star customer service. The location is also great for dogs — which are permitted here — with the hotel surrounded by off-leash walking areas in the Scheveningen woods. I only remove one star from my rating because I have had issues with booking a massage: I was never contacted back after I requested one. Additionally, in the evening the spa area can be a bit unkempt, with old towels piled up causing a bad smell. I would, however, not hesitate to stay here again. The price is good for the service you receive.

Classic luxury hotel review and for its restaurant which is dearest and you come out that you are still hungry.

Beautiful large and comfortable lobby, nice Bar and nice staff. From the front Desk to the waiters at dinner! Room was big spacious and Clean. Mattresses were a bit hard, but I think better than too soft. For other rooms I can not speak. Breakfast was good and tasty, but not necessarily the 23 Euro value. For the money, you can certainly also out there a good Breakfast, so per Person. We had it with in the package, that's why we have perceived it also. The gym is class. A lot of space, all sorts of devices and the indoor pool you can use also good, according to my wife. I would give 4.5 stars, since we had no complaints.

The decor is very nice. The beds are not so good, and the Breakfast quite ok. You can feel here very well.

4 star, NOT a 5 star hotel! Don't get me wrong, it's a pretty good hotel but if you look at the the details, and maybe even more, you quickly realize that this is not up-to the standards of a 5 star hotel. BUT: we had a very nice Club room and of course the staff was friendly. NEG: Breakfast wasn't worth the 23 EUR the charged us!

Had a room in the refurbished part if the hotel. Room was pretty nice and clean. Big TV. Breakfast is delicious. Big choice of bread and rolls, fruits, cereals. Free water in the lobby.

Super Hotel city close to Scheveningen with us.

Very nice rooms and accommodations. The breakfast is awesome and very close to the world forum. Perfect for conventions like animecon and affordable!

Room clean, bed nice. No bath. Had to ask for a kettle. Had a swim. Not far from beach. Good for where I needed to be, not quite in town.

The bar, spa, friendly staff, location and general vibe make this hotel great. We got an upgrade to the executive wing and had a lovely room with a stunning view over The Hague. The breakfast is good, but not great.

My favourite hotel in The Hague.

Very good rooms, class atmosphere, and if you book over the net, you can get a room per night for 75 euros (instead of 300! ). All rooms with balcony, d. H. You must not how everywhere out there before the hotel smoking, but can on the balcony do it (not allowed in the room). The bathroom is awesome, it is in 7-15 minutes (by tram or on foot) either in the city or at the beach. Good location right next to huge city park. Parking for 15 euros per day, as some usual price (15-25 euro in the Hague/day). A point deduction, because breakfast for approx. 20 euro right lean fails, otherwise top. You again.

We paid 80 EUR for one night. Breakfast not included. Car parking expensive (15 EUR), but you can park in the neighborhood. You can get to the beach in Scheveningen or to Den Haag center easily by tram which stops close to the hotel. It is also possible to walk to these places in around 15 minutes. Bike rental at the hotel possible for 15 EUR.
