Worst hospitality ever… not recommended.

Good hospitality and location is good.

Good food, very supporting staff,,, rooms are ok.

Marvellous place to organize seminar, conference and any types of events. A very organized hotel with standard room to stay.

Hotel Yellow Pagoda is centrally located in Kathmandu. It has multiple conference halls and because of it's location, many programs are held here. However, the service is pathetic as the meeting halls are not sound proof, the elevator is very narrow and sound system is bad. I have attended few programs here and organized one event as well. They changed the booked hall without notifying and the manager didn't show-up for explanation. We asked for written apology before making payment and they did it reluctantly.

Its an overall great place to stay, they also serve quite nice food. But as they are rated 4* Hotel they aren't that good in terms of ratings it's more like 3*. I just deducted 1 * from my rating for faking that up. Other than that my stay over there was pleasing experience.

Ok Hotel with the required amenities. The hotel locality is also good making it a good place for family stay Best part, it is very near to Thamel. You can go to Thamel it is a 10-15 min walk. The rooms are good and hygienic. Hotel staff is very responsive and well behaved. All in all a very good hotel for a family stay.

Very good hotel in the heart of the city. Staff is very polite and cooperative. Owner of the Hotel is the very good person and very helpfull amd down to earth. Indian food needs to be worked on, chef gave a full ear to the feedback. Rooms are very clean amd spacious.

Stayed here on 10th and 11th May 2018. Checked out by 12th. Complimentary breakfast. Separate car park. Local sight seeing by cab arranged. Helpful front desk. Courteous staff.

Yellow Pagoda Hotel is one of the Four star hotel in Kathmandu Nepal. The hotel is good and staffs are so friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed.

Very nice hotel, the rooms are spacious and tidy, staff is cooperative and humble. Also being in the midst of the city it offers a walkable distance to the major attractions in kathmandu at an affordable price.

Good staff, variety of rooms and good rooms, had only the breakfast, variety of food not so expensive worth full of money, all together great choice for a night.

I stayed at Hotel Yellow Pagoda recently for two nights. It's centrally located within a few minutes walk to Durbar Marg, Thamel, Ason, New Road and major shopping places. It's in the area where public transportation is readily available. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff are corteous and friendly. The free breakfast is delicious. I will definitely check in when I go back to Kathmandu.

Well located, Landmark in itself (most of them know where is Yellow Pagoda), very close to Thamel (Trekkers & mountaineers shopping hub). Has a good in-house restaurant. Rotary club meets here.

Good for seminar and other facilities. Good service can be found.

Very Bad Hotel Staff and its services. Literally looting the peoples. They cheated me on booking of hotel and taxi booking. They charged me Indian rupees 5000/ — equivalent to Nepali 8000/ — Rs. On booking a taxi to visit Kathmandu full tour. All the money has been taken in advance on the reception. But when we got the taxi. It was surprised to see that a very old and poor condition scorpio car was arranged by them. The taxi driver gives us a tour of only four local places and told us that taxi was arranged by the hotel for only Nepali 2200/ Rs. And only for four places visit. He refused our request for full kathmandu visit. Thus the hotel people cheated us for more than Rs. 5000/ — Rs. And also refused to return our money. Secondly the hotel demanded us Rs. 500/ — for car wash and taken our car key. But car not washed by them even after 7 hours of waiting and repeated requests. The guard at hotel main gate also mis behaved us. Very Bad Hotel, Very cheater staff and management.

I had been to this Hotel today, the last day of this year. I kept on observing this hotel from outside many times when I used to pass by this street. I found this hotel an average quality hotel, and certainly not the FOUR STAR as claimed in the Google map. Elevator is extremely slow and quiet busy. Seminar hall looks okay but toilets are not enough for three halls. Food tasted good. Sanitation is okay. Motor bike parking is excellent.

Good food and services overall. Need to upgrade the projector and other stuffs and maintain the same standard across all the halls as there exists quite the disparity. Located in heart of the city, I would definitely recommend the hall for meetings, formal program, seminar or any family meetings! :)

I spent two whole days here at the hotel for a workshop. I found it unmanaged. The internet barely works, too few washroom for three halls, the halls are untidy too… I won't recommend this hotel at least for events. However the food was good.

Excellent service and excellent rooms… loved the complimentary breakfast as they serve plenty of varieties of eatables which are tasty and healthy at the same time… also there's a small bakery shop if you are a sweet lover don't forget to try it for once!

Great rooms with all the amenities at best quality. But please don't trust their restaurant's room service. They may take ages to provide food.

Had a awesome time in this Hotel. One of the best running hotel with tremendous service and facilities.

One of the best Hotel in town having nice hospitality, management and service system. Had gone for get together with my friends and we had lots of fun. We found the rooms were really beautiful and the hotel consist of conference hall for any kind of meeting or programs.

This is a nice hotel in a good location in Kathmandu but they need to improve lot of things. House keeping was not up to the standard and they could use better cooks. I didn't enjoy the food very much. Customer services was excellent. All the staffs are very nice and courteous.

The old Hotel is renovated and made completely new. It is centrally located and offers good rooms and food. This hotel is specially good for seminar, conferences and as party venue.

In a central location. Hotel with conference all with adequate space. Has its own coffee shop just in front — serves good coffee and bakery items. Poor internet connection though.

Good services with good seminar halls. Food is also good. You will get ample space for parking.

Liked the atmosphere. Conference hall services are good for cooperate events.

Worst experience of staying in this hotel. Some weird things I saw in any hotel for the first time. : — 1. Tea refilling and toiletries are only provided on the first day. If you are staying for more than 1 day, you will have to pay extra for tea though rent remains the same 2. Wifi, Satellite TV is worst. During my stay for 5-6 days, TV was not working for minimum 4.5 days. 3. General Manager of hotel is rude to say the least. He doesnt know hot to treat customers. 4. They committed airport transfers to me but backed out on last moment when I was to be dropped to hotel and said I will have to pay INR 1200 for same. I was left to fend for myself to look for taxi. All this was on the day when there was strike in Nepal but vehicular movement was open. 5. Bed sheets are not even changed after 3 days as well 6. Rooms are very small. I will recommend stay in this hotel only if you have run out of options. Ashish.
