My best stay in Nepal, Yamba offers everything one is looking for in a traditional Nepali home. The proprietor, Pradeep is extremely charming of a guy and immensely supportive. You will love the sweet rooms, neither too large and nor too cramped. The meals are tasty and you will love the personalized touch. The place is 400 meters away from Patan Durbar Square and you can get assistance from Pradeep for anything. I will stay again at Yamba for sure. 5/5!

If you’d like to try living in a Newari traditional house, this intimate family-run bed and breakfast is found smack in the middle of the Newar community. It is walking distance from the Paran Durbar Square. The studio apartment gives you access to a fully-equipped kitchen for those who want to cook in their suites as well as a dining room and a roof terrace.

I stayed here for three nights with my girlfriend in May. It’s in a great location (centre of Patan) and the service is far better than anything you’ll get from a proper hotel. Pradeep is exceptionally helpful and attentive. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything. He also had a lot of great advice on places to go and about the history of the area. The breakfasts were also really good. I’m really glad I stayed here and highly recommend it to anyone going to Nepal.

Friendly, clean and easy going. Good family run place very close to all the attraction of Patan but still quiet and peaceful.

I think this is the best hotel to experience the well-known Nepalese hospitality. Family-ruled hotel, Pradeep and his family made us feel always welcome, always looked for our well-being and gave us useful tips for our stay. The rooms are clean, nice and with charm. Bathroom is the usual for European countries. Ceilings are 2 meters high, since this is a renovated traditional house. Every morning, Pradeep will cook a breakfast as shown in the picture for us. I think this is a great option if you look for a different hotel, away from the rush and noise of Kathmandu. Patan is very nice an you'll discover a new temple on each walk. Getting to the hotel is not straightforward, but trust Pradeep, he will manage to get you there.

Best Airbnb I ever lived, Traditional Newari Style, and whole service is outstanding, complementary breakfast is perfect. No electricity issues like other hotel in Kathmandu, we lived here for five days.

A beautiful family-run Hotel. Really well set-up and the care they provide guests are very commendable. The location is also really well situated in the heart of Patan, just a few minutes walk to the durbar. If there’s one thing that I can recommend is to have the doors open 24 hours with an allocated staff so that the owners don’t need to stay up late to open the doors for guests.
