Lumbini was a great place to stay while in Patan. Great location, and Amman, the owner, is extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was always so good and substantial. The rooms are huge and the heated bed pad made even the chillyest January night cozy. Only a couple blocks from Patan Durbar square and several great restaurants and shops, you won't have to go far to see and experience much!

Great stay & friendly owners. Heritage surrounding. In old town. Comf rooms. Free walking tour with owner through old town. I shall come again.

Refreshingly well run heritage home and guesthouse. The young and inspired owners (Aman, Esther and staff) are a pleasure to spend time with. The restoration of the hundred year old building was a labour of love and the fruits of said labour are very much visible. The rooms are bright, airy, comfortable, rustic yet modern. The bathrooms are in perfect condition, hot showers, immaculately clean. Another very positive feature is the possibility to refill water bottles with filtered water. The rooftop is a charm and on sunny mornings one can enjoy a delicious and varied breakfast up there. We highly recommend this amazing home from home. Namaste.

It is lovely to enter a a hotel/guesthouse and immediately feel at ease, which is the case with Lumbini Heritage Home. This hotel has been restored with such care and a great aesthetic sense — it just feels good both for the body and soul. The rooms are large and homely and I loved the colors and natural materials. When I stayed here in early april it was still bit cold during the evening, so it was nice to have a small electric heater in the room. When staying here, you can step out and stroll around in the Patan area, which center with museums and historical sites are only a five minute walk away from the GH. In the evening you can enjoy a peaceful sunset view to the Golden temple (which is a two minute walk away) and have some Dal Bhat (traditional Nepalese food with lentil soup, rice and 2-3 different vegetables) on the rooftop terrace. I have rarely felt so much at home, being away from home.

We love this place. It is absolutly perfect, quiet, clean, comfortalble and very friendly owners. We will come back!

Nice room with private bathroom. Awesome experience from rooftop view. It feel like own home. And staff are too good. It is fully cover by historical and old temple.

This place is just wonderful not only because have nice rooms with good smelling bedding on very comfortable bed but this place have soul! The owner is very helpful and charming person and you can feel how much heart hi is putting to this hotel or house because I feel there very welcome like at home.

Beautiful new guesthouse with an amazing rooftop terrace and a great team managing the place. It's located in a quite courtyard, yet close to all the major attractions of Patan.

Great place to stay with a extremely attentive hotel staff. They offered us a great welcome drink, all kinds of local knowledge, and a great breakfast. The rooftop is a perfect view over the square too! Thank you for our stay!

Very nice and quite place in the heart of patan, just next to the golden temple. Great views of the open square below, 2min walk to the durbar square. Rooms are spacious and clean and the decor is modern traditional, thus you don't bump your head on every doorway. The owners are a very sweet young couple, who helped us with every request. Was very comfortable Here, Some of the nicest people we meet on our trip. Thank you.

Patan is one of my favourite choices because being one of UNESCO's World Heritage Sites, this place will not stop wowing and amazing you, there is so much to see and it's so much more peaceful than Kathmandu center, I have to say that when it comes to relaxing after a hard day trecking or wondering around the city you want a tranquil place to sit back with nice staff (That become like family) and comfortable rooms at your disposal, Lumbini Guesthouse was an excellent choice, I most liked the large rooftop terrace that I spent hours up there just staring at the nightsky and people getting along with their lifes below, book this place now and thank me later, This was my 3rd visit to Nepal and I have tried other places, I have this one high on my list.

What a find! This beautifully renovated property ticked ALL the boxes for us. The architecture style is traditional Newari throughout from Reception to Roof Top Terrace. The rooms themselves face onto Nagbahal Square — a hidden oasis 5 mins walk from Durbar Square. The rooms are larger than any we found in Nepal complete with boutique furnishings and a sitting area. The large beds are SOFT! Quality bedding and towels, 24hr Hot Water and modern bathrooms. The roof top terrace has views to the Annapurna Range and Patan surrounds and is also where your complimentary breakfast is served. The owner Aman is truly committed to making your stay the best experience possible and we cannot recommend this property highly enough.
