I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Butsugen. The family and staff are so friendly, hospitable, and kind. They helped us get settled in comfortably, answered any questions we had, and ended up like our own family. The hotel is beautifully-decorated, new, and so clean. It’s a rare gem in the area and totally worth the price. So many beautiful paintings, green plants, and a sweet old dog named Julie. We loved staying in the deluxe A/C room and enjoyed the delicious breakfasts on the patio. This is the only place I would recommend for a comfortable stay near Boudhnath in Kathmandu!
