Review of Bhaktapur Paradise Hotel 3*

The Bhaktapur Paradise hotel is hands down the best hotel I have visited in Nepal. Not only for the excellent accommodations, but also for the absolutely amazing staff. This is not just an ordinary hotel. I have visited twice. Once for an extended stay of two weeks when I was traveling alone and once for a shorter stay when I brought my parents back with me. Each time the staff adopted me like family, arranged rides, made sure I was safe, well-fed and entertained. Shree who o…wns the hotel is incredibly well-connected within the country and along with his entire staff can be trusted completely to assist with everything from arranging airport pickup, helping if your suitcase gets lost, arranging trekking with his company, arranging for volunteer opportunities within the country with his non-profit organization, setting up authentic local experiences with local families and a safe, comfortable, very cool place to stay. The food here is also excellent, especially the "King Curd" (yogurt) that Bhaktapur is known for. And the chicken sizzler :) Bhaktapur is an equally amazing place to visit. Extensive history and old world structures. I could spend days just walking around the old city. The hotel is located outside the old city (but still walking distance) on a quiet street, tucked away from the hustle and bustle below so it's also great place to relax. An entire day could be spent reading and drinking milk tea on the scenic balcony. For me, staying at this hotel brought more than I could have hoped for. Not only was I given an amazing place to stay, but I gained a Nepali family that I will return to see for years to come. I feel immensely comfortable visiting Nepal in large part because I know that Shree and the staff at the Bhaktapur Paradise Hotel will go above and beyond to assist with any situation that arrises and will always go well beyond their role as hotel operators to make sure their guests enjoy their entire time in Nepal, not just the night booked within the hotel.
