Review of Hotel White Pearl 4*

Most pathetic hotel in the world I have ever lived in! while checking in, we had booked lake and mountain facing room — for which we had paid extra. Upon reaching, the staff told us that there were not enough rooms of that category and they will be giving us other similar rooms. We said we would like to see the rooms first. The staff thought we were illiterates and did not know the difference in deluxe and super deluxe rooms. They should us deluxe rooms and told us it was the super deluxe. Upon showing them what deluxe and super deluxe rooms are on their website, they finally gave us super deluxe rooms — which were cheaper than the mountain / lake view rooms. All this took us about 1-1.5 hours and we had informed the staff there that we will check out 1.5 hours late since all this had taken so long. They should have actually told this to us by themselves, but dint! anyhow, next day, when we were checking out, a staff by the name of amira, started yelling. I was at first surprised and could not even imagine a person could talk to their customer in this manner. So I asked "are you talking to me? "and she yelled yes! her comments were "you indians are idiots" "this is not the way to behave" "have some shame" "we get fed up whenever any indians who come here" "this is not your house" "i will call the police" all the above comments were told by her in a very very loud voice! we at first were quiete and I being a male did not want to raise my voice on a lady. 2 female friends from our group lost their cool and started yelling back. The manager who was listening to all this was just quiete and did not utter a word. Finally, while she was arguing, we lost our patience and told them now we will call the cops! this is not the way you speak to your clients! you have not given us a refund for the rooms we had paid! she is discriminating indians! the worse hotel I have ever seen in my life!
