Be careful when driving up here in the dark road is not perfect and had a real bad spot where gravel goes to interlocks. Almost messed up my wheel alignment hitting that ridge. Food was average. Steak was bland. Service was great. Being from the coast the heat is a bit much and the aircon in my room didn't work properly. The rooms weren't clearly numbered so I searched endlessly for my room after having to take a hike there because there is no parking close to my room. Ended up having to ask another guest where their room was in order to guess where mine was. Not a pleasant experience at all. The DSTV was useless because it barely catches signal and went dark for long periods. All in all a not so pleasant experience so far and I haven't even hit the next morning yet.

Lodging is comfortable. Food was good, and there’s a swimming pool with a bar. The view of the rolling hills down the valley towards the city of Windhoek was very nice. The host and his children accompany us on our safari drive in their own game reserve and the children, while young, were very personable and knowledgeable about the wildlife in their park. I’d highly recommend visitors to stay there.

Our waitress Naneo was awesome and very helpful, however the manager on duty today 26.12.2019 was not as awesome. He greeted the people personally next to us, served all the guests except our table. He came to table offering us “ cocktails from the river of Canada” which in essence was tap water and not cocktail as he claimed. This to us meant that he was insinuating that we are drunk and needed to detox. He came a 2nd time insisting we get water again and we should keep the noise down. Not too sure if this is the service we deserved as we were behaving or could it be we were not worthy enough of excellent service from him. I am not coming back and won’t ever recommend this place to anyone due to the pathetic derive from the manager on duty. We have also come to notice that the tip goes to the lodge and not to the waitress Incase they damaged or broke anything during the course of their duty at the lodge.
Disappointed client.

Please train your staff about customer service especially Anna, which is so rude towards customers. If you're angry about working on family day then quit your job!

What a warm welcome. In Namibia. For our roundtrip across Namibia we choose the RC Lodge to begin The rooms are functional and clean. The staff is very friendly. The hospitality and the service are very good! Even the kitchen! Thank you for your Service! Keep on going like that!

What a beautiful place! We felt so welcome and everyone was so helpful and friendly. I especially want to thank salami for being so kind and making us feel like family!

Such an amazing out of town in the bush home from home kinda place. Staff are friendly, efficient and attention to detail with that personal touch really makes one feel well treated. Love the set-out menu which means food is freshly prepared and not just reheated frozen foods. Have been here twice now and look forward to many more visits. Keep it up guys & girls.

Stunning views and relaxing atmosphere for an afternoon drink.

The food; and the hospitality during my mother’s 75th surprise birthday party (arranged long-distance from the USA) was outstanding. The view of the bush or the city with a sunset is breathtaking. Just a few minutes out of town and on the way to the airport this is a beautiful last or first look of Namibia. I’ll stay again as the rooms were comfy.

We had our wedding here this Saturday the 22nd of September and what an experience it was! From the very first time we met until we had to leave on Sunday morning it was pure delight! The friendly and helpful staff attended to our every need and did so with a smile on their faces! They carried around tables and chairs and made sure everything ran smoothly. During the day there was never a moment we had to ask for anything as someone was already on it! The food was out of this world! All the guests agreed to that! Thanks to the barman the placed the wedding cake in the fridge after we had left and did not even think of it, you went the extra step! The champaigne and picnic basket in the honeymoon room was just the cherry on top! We appreciate all that you have done to make our wedding day so much more memorable!

This is a good place to escape to. Away from the noise of the city. So much beauty all in one, nature, refreshing siting from the elevated landscape. There is a beautiful view to watch the sunset. Good friendly staff. I hadn't order something serious but from the menu their but as simple as it was it was satisfying and well done. Amazing, amazing must visit.

Was a beautiful experience. Had my 60th birthday celebration. Will definitely visit again. Staff very friendly.

Really all accommodation in 2weeks Namibia the worst. Fortunately, for one night only. The only positive to this run-down accommodation and the friendly and helpful staff. Therefore, 1 Point. This was the first Time that we have not showered because it's too disgusting.

Really nice view from the terrace. Comfortable und clean rooms. There is only a fixed Menue for dinner. If you have to leave early ask for the breakfast time.

An upmarket lodge with excellent customer service and a spectacular view from the rooms. You can visit the lodge as a day visitor, but it is also perfect when you come from the airport directly. The lodge arrange transport to and from the airport and also the restaurant of your choice. They will also call the restaurant and book a table. Their set menu is also a good option if you want to have a tranquil evening away from the buzz of the city. Cocktails and sundowners are also a good choice when visiting river crossing.

Beautiful view but Give you a confirmation for your booking, but days later tell you that its fully booked for a certain "Function" and can't do anything about it. Never plan for an important occasion or event at this place as they disappoint every time.

Very close to the city you can have a real good lunch, enjoy the view and be away from the city for a few hours.

The best thing in my entire Namibian stay. The journey to the lodge is a tough one. Really tough as I was driving straight from Windhoek. But the service was just Excellent. The one thing annoying though is everyone there asked me why I came alone? The food was just great! Best of all is the view of the canyon. Can't find it elsewhere. Just Great!
