An incredible holiday and experience. Relaxing and spoilt from all staff and the food was delicious and suburb service all around. Got to have their prawns. Oh and chicken. Wow 🤩 Cannot wait to go back! I’ve already booked 😃 Boat trips and sunset cruises were relaxing and the food / snacks we ordered was better than I had imagined. Memories were made and will stay with me and my friends that joined me forever. Our accommodation was clean and oh so comfy and the staff went the extra mile with checking in and adding that extra touch 💗. Best and beautiful. Thank you Castelo da Mar. We had the most wonderful time at Castelo, such a hidden gem. It's the perfect place to get away and recharge, it's peaceful, beautiful and relaxing. The staff are so pleasant and go above and beyond for the guests. Food is amazing. Thank you to Kirsty and Jean for going out of your way to make sure we had a lovely time.

Fantastic staff and a little piece of heaven with the best view over the see from the resort. The management crew make you feel right at home from the time you arrive and even when you depart. Thank you Kirsty and crew for a mind blowing experience.

So disappointed and disgusted. Zero management! The poor staff were amazing and tried to assist where necessary by doing their best. The furniture was stained and torn. Pools were green and unable to swim in… What a horrible place.

You never regret being to this place. Good accomodation, catering and with sympathetic staff.

We recently visited Castelo Do Mar for a week where we had the most incredible time. Kirsty, Jean, James and the rest of the team were the perfect hosts and they really went out of their way to make our stay special. They ensured that we left with incredible memories and great stories to share. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to return to the beautiful beaches, lovely weather, incredible diving, pansy shells, great food and the friendly staff. Another highlight for us were the lovely dogs who took walks with us on the beach. Thanks guys for an unforgettable holiday and birthday.

Excellent food. Stunning view.

Not going to lie, we enjoyed ourselves, especially the food and the people there were so sweet. Only thing I can say though is that our package included free snorkeling but when we were about to live we were made to pay for Safari Seahorses, couldn't understand why because yes we snorkled then saw the sea horses, so we were supposed to then pay 3640matz cash. Another thing is that we asked for an upgrade of our room when we got it we were told we will only have to pay an extra R400, I asked if its a once off and Kirsty said yes, only to find out a day before departure that she assumed I would know that its R400 per day. Two days before our departure there was a family leaving that we were close to and they too felt ripped off from the bill they had to pay as well. So just be careful before going there, seems like they want to milk you as much money as they can…

What an amazing place! Lovely setting, beautiful rooms and delicious food. The managers are lovely and will do their best to accommodate you during your stay.

What an idyllic hidden gem! Mozambiquean hospitality at its absolute best. We were looking for the best of both worlds, water activities and relaxation and we found both in spades. The staff are freindly and always smiling. The rooms are luxurious. The food is very tasty. Kirsty is a mine of information and will happily assist with cross border and driving in Moz tips that make the trip much easier. You could not ask for a better diving instructor than Jean, he imparts knowledge and calm with witt, creating a feeling of trust under water. This one is definitely on our list of do-overs.
