Loved this place. Extremely friendly stuff, awesome building and rooms! Very tasty breakfast.
Our family of four had a wonderful experience at Riad Dar Karima. As soon as we had arrived I knew I had made a mistake by only booking one night. This was the cleanest Riad we stayed in during our 17 days in Morocco. The courtyard was bright and colorful (and had an optional cover for rainy days). The rooms were well designed and comfortable. The rooftop terrace didn't have a great view but was a welcome escape under the sun where we played some family games for a few hours. The staff spoke a little English (and us even less Arabic and French), but we ended up with few communication issues. They were very helpful in directing us to nearby sights and restaurants on arrival. They even walked us out to the street and hailed two cabs for us to ensure we wouldn't be overcharged. The location inside the Medina was also quite good, just steps from a main walking and shopping street where we picked up Moroccan "tacos" and other snacks. Other sites were were within walking distance or a short cab ride. If you pack light (we didn't), I'd recommend walking to and from the train station. It only takes 15 minutes, which might ultimately be less than a taxi after you factor in hailing time and navigating through traffic. There are no elevators. I would absolutely stay here again, as well as recommend to family and friends.

We spent 5 wonderful days with family (15 people) at Riad Dar Karima. Very comfortable — everyone had their own bathroom!
Ideally placed to do everything on foot in the Medina, this Riad is modern with the charm of the old and the Moroccan culture. The service on site is more than enjoyable.
