Review of Nautilus Apartments 4*
The good of Muntenegru:
— Beautiful landscape
— The roads are in good condition
— It has Euro
— Beautiful coastline
— Beautiful old cityes
The bad of Muntenegru:
— Horrible driving skills (if there is a 60km/h limit they drive with maximum 40km/h)
— Horrible traffic jams (especially in Bar town — it can take up to 3 hours to transit the small city)
— From Bar to Dubrovnik Croatia (140km) it took us about 7h to get there — in my opinion this is not acceptable
— please avoid Konoba Bedem restaurant from old town Bar — it has good reviews on TripAdvisor but it doesn't deserve them!
The good of Nautilus Apartment Hotel:
— almost all the staff is nice to you
— all apartments have beautiful sea view
— we said in the building 3 (there are 3 buildings: 1st one is closer to the sea) and had a beautiful terrace (huge ~150 square meters shared with one neighbor) with a view over the sea and the complex + a balcony
— we asked for 2 sunbeds and a child slide (it was at the reception) and they brought them without discussing
— the apartment (2 bedrooms + 2 bathrooms + living with a small kitchen) room is huge ~110 sqm
— all rooms have A/C
— all bathrooms have a water heater (independent)
— near the main road and near the sea
— free sunbeds, but no free towels
— pet friendly
— they had arrange everything you need for kids
— after midnight check in is possible if you ask
— good Wi-Fi over the property (we had an acces point in the living room) you can easily use the Wi-Fi for VoIP calls since Muntenegru does not have any roaming agreement with EU
— clean swimming pool
— the restaurant is ok
The bad or let's say room for improvement:
— the breakfast does not worth the extra money — it is 90% the same everyday and it has no variety
— from wherever you are you have to use the stairs in order to go to the restaurant (in my case about 3 floors) and to the sea (in my case about 6 floors) — when you have 2 children (7 months and the other one 2 and 1/2 years) it is exhausting but good exercise :) ;)
— the complex is not private — anyone can enter it
— parking… Parking should be managed better, they have a garage under building no. 3 (7 spots) and a parking over the restaurant (10 spots). If you have a bigger car (in my case a t5 long edition) you can forget the garage. In the parking lot the staff (in my case "the boss") is always blocking cars without leaving a number to call or any apologies
— cleaning, they changed the beds after 3 days, they come daily for towels and bruming or vaccuming the rooms but never did they wash the floor, cleaned the terrace&balcony or do a full cleaning of the apartment in 8 night
— the small bathroom had an sewerage smell
— for a small dog I had to pay 15 Euro/night and I did not received any fiscal receipt
— the total amount from booking is far less than the reality. I had to pay a turist tax in the ammount of 40 Euro + 120 Euro for dog
— there wore some bugs in the apartment
— there are things that look like they are not finished
— OVERPRICED until the above are going to be fixed.
