We’ve been spending on average 2/3 days a year here for the past 8 years and sadly this year the vibe is terrible. They’re playing loud cheap EDM, serving sports-bar type of food and are full of loud Americans ordering champagne and posting on Instagram. Very disappointed how this once-little-hidden-gem is now turning. I really hope the direction sees this and bring back the old villa pescadores we once loved.

This is an amazing place to hang out n relax if you are in Tulum. I would definitely recommend their Fish tacos!. Its are very delicious and michelada is very refreshing ☺️ you should try it.

Blown away by the restaurant! The seafood was impeccable and so fresh. Misael was super attentive and sweet. We want him every time we go back! We are true foodies and were delighted to stumble upon this gem just for food; we weren’t staying at the hotel. We were advised to come to this location because it’s right next to the snorkeling spot we were referred to, which was also amazing. While visiting the Tulum ruins, a governmental agency advised getting a discount to go snorkeling and see the ruins from a small boat at only $42 per person. I was very skeptical initially, but Wendy was extremely genuine and I trusted her. What a great choice! The food here—we will be back. And, seriously, do the snorkeling. Just wow. Saw 2 sea turtles and 8 stingrays.

We booked a snorkeling tour with a guy named Antonio at the entrance to the Tulum ruins. We were excited… but found out the guy Paco who was the boat driver… stole our credit card and tried… tried… to spend 3000.00 usd. Paco is a piece of *&#@. Do not trust anyone… there are to many dishonest thieves around this hotel. Still researching what charges I can bring against this thief. If you have any helpful information about Paco I would like to know. I have his boat number. Since this has happened I have no money. Thanks for the dissapment. I do not believe Paco was associated with this hotel. But even after 7 months I haven't gotten one response from them.

Gorgeous place — loved staying here. The food was great too — especially the arugula salad!

Omg this place is awesome… I love the beach bungalows, the space was beautiful and inside very spacious. The beds were incredibly comfy. The staff were what made this place, extremely helpful and went above and beyond their level of service. It’s hidden away from all the night life and busier part of Tulum. It only takes less than 5 mins to drive and $100 pesos. The restaurant had amazing food for anytime of day. You didn’t need really need to leave, loved the avocado eggs.

Very relaxing place to stay. Beautiful view to the beach and you can walk 500 meters and you are already by the sea.

Nice décor, friendly staff and very good food. Too little shade on the loungers on the beach.

I don’t even know where to begin about my experience at VP…
I’ll start with the food — we ate in 60% of our meals here by choice — avocado toast and tuna steak was the go-to!
Secondly, the staff was amazing, extremely helpful, kind, fun and had the cutest dogs.
Thirdly, it’s beautiful. The pictures are exactly what you get — clean, great taste and absolutely dreamy!
I’ll end it with, this was the best vacation ever. Thank you VP!

Absolutely beautiful! We are staying in room 10, the ocean front room. Highly recommend! Nothing more amazing than waking up and watching the sunrise from your bed and having delicious coffee delivered to your porch (they ask at check-in what time you'd like it to arrive). Definitely take a walk on the beach at night — so many stars! I'm so glad we decided to stay on this end of the beach! The staff are all super kind and helpful. The room is clean, the bed is comfy, the food (best fish tacos I ever had) and drinks are great. What more do you need? The pictures on their website really don't do it justice. We also had drinks (Which taste a bit higher quality) at their sister property, Kai Tulum, next door when we were ready for some shade, and they are delicious as well. Didn't eat there aside from their guac which was really good. We wake up with the sun so our days were perfect: watch the sun rise, drink coffee on the porch (with a little scone cookie thing), grab a sunbed on the beach. By the time it starts warming up and your skin needs a break from the sun it's 11am and the beach clubs open, so we grab a shady spot and have a drink, tacos at noon, back to the sun, swimming… repeat! We will be back!

A luxurious beachfront bungalow a beautiful beach hut with a bar directly in the water, located at the northern tip of the beach next to the ruins, Villa Pescadores is a good compromise between comfort and nature, and private beach area in addition;) The sequel is fantastic, I let you see the picture.

Great place! A few rooms but it is perfect so, I found it very well with all the staff. The private beach is within walking distance of the rooms, which are spacious and very characteristic wood. I recommend to everyone, if you are in Tulum, to evaluate this accommodation maybe with your partner.

It is a place definitely beautiful, which is connected to the nature one hundred per cent, which notes not only the landscape that offers, but within their cabins, which are super cute, with a unique touch and natural, caring for the smallest detail so that you do not let yourself to feel inside of nature, from a hand soap made of chocolate and mint, until a body soap one hundred percent aloe vera or honey, or almond, etc etc. A place that you can adapt it to go in couple or In family. Excellent service and the food uff side dishes, super innovative and unique, of super good quality and above all with a flavor and seasoning unmatched. One hundred percent recommended. I want to go back there more times!

An amazing place to stay, the attention is great as well as your food and services; The Beach Club is the best, super good eye taco. It is definitely a good place for a romantic getaway, if you occupy something especially the peraonal is in charge of doing the reality.

Very good location for relaxing and visiting the ruins. The cabanas are comfortable, clean and big. The restaurant is excellent with authentic mexican food and staff. The beach is beautiful, calm and with a view on the maya ruins.

Amazing place. Amazing people. Highly recommend. Unfortunately for 5 starts I would say for the price, to have a full breakfast included. But the small treat they give you everyday it's still good.

I ate at the beach. Very tasty the toast with tuna and the
Quesadilla with shrimp. Something expensive, but you're facing the sea.

Great place to relax. The Caribbean sea at your doorstep, white sands and great weather are no-brainers by themselves, but this hotel just has a great ambiance with each room it's single cabin, with it's dedicated hammocks. Coffee is delivered at your porch every morning, and the rooms are built to mimic the local style, but with big glass doors turned towards the path to the beach, very well maintained and clean. At night, when the A/Cs are not humming, you can only hear the sea. It's not cheap, and no meal or drinks are included. My wife and I are staying for the last 3 nights of a longer trip and are loving the relaxation so far.

Great experience, awesome food, excellent service. You don’t need to worry about ordering organic food. Everything is organic. The fish you will eat here sleept in the ocean the night before.

Easy walk to and from ruins, excellent ceviche and service, and finally, its not pretentious like some other places in Tulum. The rooms are good but its all about the atmosphere, hammocks, and the beach.

Great restaurant and view. Some of the best fish and chicken tacos around. Also one of the few restaurants that accepts card this close to the Tulum ruins.

This beach front establishment treated us with heighneous contempt. As we were walkins off the beach and not hotel guests we were told no credit card facility was available (shortly after we overheard the option offered to departing guests), told it was closing early at 4pm (only to welcome new guests to an adjacent table moments later), and were ushered out as quickly as possible after receiving an incorrect bill. We left the venue with frowny faces. Food was yummy.

We had a great time at Villa Pescadores. The cabins are well decorated and maintained and are right by the beach. The beach furniture is comfortable and the sand and water are both lovely. There's a bar and grill if you want food or drinks while you tan. The food was fresh and delicious. The staff is very nice and helpful. We rented bikes for $10/day to get to town. The Tulum ruins are a short walk away. I would be happy to stay here again.

Just home from a fantastic trip to Tulum and Villa Pescadores was the best part… Food amazing (Rock Prawns, Tuna Tostado, Breakfast, everything! ) staff terrific (all the Antonios, Juan Hoil, Donna, Angel, Everybody! ) and the property and beach glorious… can't wait to go back.

Excellent cuisine — and worth every penny (starters MXN 80 — 200, mains MXN 150 — 280, dessert MXN 80 — 120). Fantastic location for dinner, stylish — charming interior. Provecho!

My fiance and I really agonized over where to stay for our honeymoon, eventually choosing Tulum as the location but debating between several hotel options. It was Villa Pescadores' cabanas and well-reviewed restaurant that won us over. We are SO glad we made that choice! It was absolutely perfect, and everything we hoped for and more! Alejandro was so helpful via email when we booked and helped arrange a shuttle to pick us up from the Cancun airport, which was indeed there waiting for us. When we arrived at the hotel, we learned that Alejandro and the staff had secretly collaborated with our friends to surprise us with a bottle of champagne in our room! They also went above and beyond facilitating gifts from our friends of a breakfast, a dinner, side-by-side massages, and a day tour of our choice. Alejandro, Angel, and Angela at the front desk staff were so nice and helpful when making those arrangements. The hotel's grounds are like paradise on Earth! We loved the sand and palm trees, and we enjoyed a lot of time in the adirondack chairs on our deck with an ocean view or in our comfortable hammock. The cabana itself was wonderful: one part rustic and nine parts romantic, spotlessly clean, with gorgeous curtains, a heavenly bed, and nice amenities like hot running water and a large, ceramic dispenser of drinking water. There were also thoughtful details like cute towel sculptures and incense! The restaurant did not disappoint!

It was incredible… there celebrated my anniversary with my husband… we enjoyed a beautiful beach, the sea incredibly turquoise blue and wonderful; the food scrumptious and the bungalows are beautiful!
