The dining experience by the sea shore was peaceful and romantic, away from touristy places. Food was so delicious that each bite was worth the buck. The service is excellent. Betto, our server was very friendly and attentive to our needs.

Went to La Zebra for lunch one day, and another day for the beach club. They have a beautiful stretch of beach and a parking area right across the street. To have a lounge space on the beach you are required to spend about $25 American per person. We tried their cocktails, you design your own with so many choices. We loved their guac and ceviche. We had great service both times. Highly recommend.

Wow, wow, wow! Superb boutique hotel in Tulum! It is a small boutique hotel in the km 8 of the road from Tulum to Boca Paila and has just 26 rooms that are extremely spacious with all the amenities therein and including a bottle of mezcal, orange and salt worm. Can not find anyone of all the staff that works there that has a bad attitude, always ready to offer you the best service. The mexican food restaurant contemporanea has a small menu but what try you love. In truth, 110% recommended.

Beautiful hotel, you don't even have to be a guest of the hotel. As long as you consume drinks and eat food you can be at the beach and relax. Food is good, as for drinks the hotel drinks are ok. But they had a NYC bar pop up which those guys are great. Amazing drinks it was a limited time only though. The hotel is very expensive, but you get your money's worth. The breakfast is amazing it was one of the best I had in my week stay in the area.

Had lunch on the seaside deck in mid June. I'm a guacamole connoisseur and I can attest, the guac was magnificent. Fish tacos were also excellent and unique. Whole pieces of fish sauteed to perfection with some mystery seasoning, topped with sweet pickled onions and generous avocado slices. My wife only eats enchiladas and they too were special and delicious. We've had good Americanized enchiladas but these were uniquely tasty and super fresh. Zebra is sort of a hipster place to see and be seen so it's good for people watching. We weren't there for the scene but it was an interesting bonus. I was tempted to go back for the exact same dishes, but there are too many other great places nearby and I had to try them all! On my list of gotos for my next Tulum visit.

We were sent by our hotel as an option to have drinks and relax on the beach. When we Inquired about the bars, restaurant, and beach access at the desk we were spoken to very poorly. They took offense to our use of the term “beach club” and were very unfriendly in correcting us. It functions almost exactly as a beach club, in that we spent way too much money to sit on their stretch of beach. I was pleased with the bar staff and what we had. I just felt there were less expensive similar places we went to that were warm and gracious.

Rooms were large, balcony room overlooked the ocean even though it was a garden view. The little touches like turn down service with warm tea were very nice. The beach was kept clean and had great day beds for laying out in the sun or shade. Definitely tourist prices, but a lovely place to stay in Tulum that is clean and well maintained.
