Excellent, wordless lol.

Great location, incredible good treatment from the hotel staff. The room is great and the shower perfect. The Wifi works with a 10. Desspués leave the room, we kept the bags and we were able to shower before catching the plane with clean towels, will he greatly appreciated. Would return to this hotel without hesitation.

I have absolutely loved the stay in Wabi Especially the receptionist lady was the most part of my satisfaction. Well I have never met an 'Unfriendly' Mexican people during my vacation however she was very genuine and reliable when we had to go and see the doctor's for the sun allergy and when we had a problem with the air-conditioner Thank you so much and Would definitely recommend xx.

Was there for 4 days. Was so great. The rooms was perfect and clean everyday! The front desk is extra special! specially Carla when I even called her mom when she helped me when I lost my friend for over 20 hours she was with me the whole time! thank you to you'll hope to see you'll next year!

As a person I love this hotel for its comfort, its details, its nice people and its location a few steps from the fifth avenue and the den area, I love up to your wabito cat and as a travel agency I love the way I treat and help my clients always, prices and accessibility did not change it for anything, my official hotel in the Mayan riviera.

The crew is very friendly. We had a problem in our reservation (the website booked for less days than we needed) and they not solved, but gave us a better and cheaper room. The bathroom is good and clean. The beds and pillows are soft enough. All rooms have AC. If you're coming with a big family, ask for the room 16.

To a Fifth Avenue street, and close to food places. Two of the beach, very comfortable.

Cheap prices, the booze is not that good, I think their drinks were adulterated so I just drank one and left.

Would you stay in a hostel where the cleaning service checks your belongings thoroughly until you find something of value? If the answer is no, do not choose this hostel.
I don't recommend it, it doesn't have security in the rooms. We were victims of a cash robbery which was well kept among our belongings. A locked room that doesn't give you security.
If you have already stayed or are staying, check your belongings daily.

Very friendly staff that speaks good English. The place is very inexpensive. It gets lively at night with a DJ. They also have coffee, fruit, and toast in the morning. The showers and bathrooms are outside by the bar. The location is great, close to the beach but just off from the main tourist strip. Easy access to convenience stores and restaurants. I had the best time at Wabi, I might actually return.

It is a modest hotel but super clean with excellent maintenance, everything works well, except the sanitary cap that you have to hold it to keep it up. Outside of that all very well for the hotel level, the attention of the staff simply outstanding you will notice that they love their job well by hotel Wabi.

In relation to what you pay for is perfect. Book with a lot of anticipation my stay for me and my dad. In the end my dad didn't walk me and I talked in time to tell him he wouldn't go. There was a mix up at the hostel and I almost didn't apply for reimbursement, but the owners are very friendly and understood so I rembolsarón the remaining of my reservation. I liked the service and the rooms are austere but they go relative to the price.

A place with very good location and close to restaurants, laundry and supermarkets. The team of workers are professional and very friendly. I made a lot of friends there and I had a great fun at the bar with different music from local DJs and foreign guests. Good level of English and good discounts. Clean rooms.

The place I love I don't like myself that do not have clear about your promotions as you do not have a letter for what you don't know this the price of the drinks also give you a note of consumption.

It was great, nice and clean. However, recommended only of you have a rental car. Since the hotel is within walking distance to the main downtown strip no taxis want to go there. So you have to walk in the heat.

Nice place to chill out, drink and party, the people is nice and ladies nights on tuesdays are the best.

Hotel is rather dated but very comfortable. A 7 to 10 minute walk to the beach and all the excellent restaurants are less than that, so it's in a quiet area of the resort. Walmart is round the corner, good for early morning coffee etc. The girls on reception really make this hotel, they're brilliant. A very enjoyable stay there. Nice bar next door. N. B. Breakfast is NOT served, it's room only basis.

Quite nice and inexpensive ideal for those who travel alone and in family has private rooms for up to 8 people and shares if you enjoy meeting new people.

As always excellent service, clean rooms, comfortable beds, had my room on time since my arrival, all the staff super friendly and supportive of me in everything! It is the 2nd time I am staying and now I was with my baby and my mom… we were very comfortable! If you are looking for a simple place to sleep and to come to rest is a very good option, has no pool but is 3 min from the beach by car and 10 min walking!

Nice hotel, low prices and excellent attention.

Hostel basic, toilets and showers good, bar in the terrace simple. High price for what it is. For showering, simply 100mx per person.

Without a doubt an option right to stay on 10th street just 3 blocks from everything, you have the option of private rooms with 3 beds, kitchen and bathroom or also in common rooms with 6 or 8 beds super recommending.

The hotel is clean, friendly. It only bothered me the first day after the cleaning, I was lost inside the room, a pack of cigarettes that I left the bureau, and I was not given an explanation reasonable or an apology at least, I also had problem with the weather, the sengundo day, and not composed.

Horrible experience. They say that we took the keys and we were bothered since two months ago approximately. As an ex-host is very frustrating that you continue to send emails asking things that you don't have. As business trip I suggest to stay in other hotel.

Excellent location! This hostel is in the very center of Playa del Carmen, one block from the 5th. Good and cheap!

Pros: -Clean -Good location -Parking lots in front of the hotel Cons: -Need maintenance. Definitely not the same as their photos. -Swing of the air conditioner didn't work and it was not comfortable that the airflow direct against to the bed.

This place is incredible! My brother and I arrived there around mid July 2015. This was the perfect place for the price. Staff was amazing! Great location to the beach and boat to the island. Julia was the best! We will be back.

Very good service, are very friendly, the bedrooms are comfortable and the hotel very pleasant and nice.

Clean, nice decor. Other guests were very loud through the night, but that might not always be the case.

Had a 3 month journey through Mex/Central America a couple of years ago, Happy Gecko was my favorite place out of about 20 hostels. I just booked a second journey leaving in a few weeks. I will definitely give you an update and see if it is still as awesome as I remember.
