A wonderful clean and inviting resort. All the staff are friendly and attentive to your needs. The rooms are well designed and if you are lucky enough to get a room on the bridge, the view is perfect.

Stayed at the Hyatt Playa del Carmen! First lets start with the checkin the cold water please don’t stop this service. Amazing you guest loves this. Please inform your guest when are charging my whole amount on my card. I am aware I owe the charges. Please ensure im good to pay for it right then and there. Usually they charge you for deposit. I had a great time and was very happy with the room. I am a hyatt gold club member. Your room, cleanliness and excellent service will make me return here and bring my familia and friends here. Pool service and food and drinks was amazing! Nothing to worry about here. Room service is at its best! Bicycle rental was very easy! I hope to come back and visit again.
Rating your best restaurant would be Sushi Raw at number 1, La Cocina number 2 and grills at 3rd. I have stayed in over 21 Hyatt hotels and I recommend this one.

Grand Hyatt was great. The food was great. The beach was close. The room was spacious, clean, and the decor was very modern. The service and the people was very polite and attentive. Food was excellent, even though the hotel only had 3 restaurants, the food was the best 👌

Over 2 hours and still waiting for Room service to arrive We gave up. Only little waters left in frig. Staff helpful ex specially the outside staff. I would give a 2 star ⭐️ rating compared to 4 other inclusive trips I have taken. This being least favorite of food. Rooms were amazing 5 star ⭐️ there.

Loved the resort. The staff was great upon check in. The valets were super nice. The room we had was nice with a pool just off the deck. The pool by the ocean was fantastic! Super fun to swim in.

Need a better trained staffs; be prepared for at least 1 hour check in at the front desk (in-line waiting not included). 45 mins wait after foods ordered in La Cocina restaurant and only a handful of guests in the restaurant at the time and expensive 120 usd for 4 entrees and not even good. The list goes on and on… Hope that no one has the same experience like us! The house keeping manager — Erick Arredondo is awesome who tried to fix his staffs mistakes but unfortunately, only one person can do so much.

I picked this resort to celebrate my 39th birthday! I was blown away by the resort and staff! I returned from an excursion and they had balloons and a banner in my room. They set up dinner for me poolside with candles and champagne! They went above and beyond during my entire visit!

Amazing Service & Facilities.

Beautiful property in a prime location right on the beach and next to tons of shopping on 5th Avenue! We loved our spacious Ocean front suite with an oversized balcony and sweeping views. The Grill at 1-26 had fabulous food! The infinity pools were so wonderful and seemed to run directly into the ocean. Our bed was so comfortable and our room was very quiet. We look forward to coming back!

Bad service, not delivered with what is offered, there is no staff, it is very expensive for what it offers and if you buy another service from the outside and you are wrong the hotel is not responsible being that they give you the information, there are no towels … my boss had to salier of the hotel because it was not at all what I expected.

This resort is just breathtaking! From the views, the infinity pool, the ocean, the restos, the food, the rooms, the staff… everything is just fantastic!

Went for my birthday with my wife and had a wonderful time relaxing at the pool, eating delish food, enjoying the beach, and experiencing excellent customer service. We recommend renting a cabana and enjoying drinks and food pool side all day and going to the spa for a day.

We were there for our 30th wedding anniversary. The hotel has Excellent amenities and the location and hotel design are exquisite!

This is one of the greatest hotels we have stayed compared to all over the word. The rooms division and grand club manager Ammar, leading an incredible staff, has exceeded our expectations the last two times at this property making it our favorite second home.

Hosted an event here and stayed for three nights. Large and comfortable rooms. Food was very good. Event services team were very helpful and the meeting room was perfectly laid out for our event. The coffee bar in the lobby opens from 6am and has excellent fresh muffins. The gym has very good Technogym equipment, all new and seems barely used.

Wonderful place right in the middle of Playa del Carmen tourist area. New, modern and clean. Impressive ovean view facing Cozumel island. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great for families and also for couples retreat.

Beautiful resort. Beautiful design. The central entry and alcove spaces allow for a comfortable procession even in the hottest days. Very secure, with 24 hour surveillance. The beaches had horrible seaweed last time I was there, hence the 4 star review, making it difficult to enjoy.

We went to the Grill Restaurant inside the hotel and it just happened to be Ladies Night… the cocktails adorable… the live musician was freaking amazing… the soup served in the shot glass… the salad with the enormous size prawns… the rib-eye… and we sat on the water… our concierge at the Fiesta Inn recommended this place… I will never for get the experience.

Very nice hotel, very impressive, but very expensive, I find it amazing that despite being a guest you want to charge for parking your car there, is that this is not done in other parts that is not Quintana Roo, is wrong, in and of itself is extremely expensive and you will want to charge for things that as a guest you have the right.

Excellent all-inclusive resort in a prime location. Friendly staff. Our only complaint is the club next door plays horrible, loud boom-boom music from noon to 7 or 8 pm every day. We couldn't enjoy our ocean front deck.

I absolutely loved this resort! The customer service was exceptional! The staff were very friendly and responded very quickly to our request, the food was excellent, rooms were very clean, beds and showers were super comfortable. The location of the hotel was perfect very close to many of the local restaurants, bars, and clubs. Would highly recommend this resort to anyone! Can’t wait to come back!

Upon arriving to the Grand Hyatt we were greeted by staff who was very helpful and kind. The room extremely clean and has a beautiful view. Rented cabanas by the pool and had the best time. Service, Food and Staff was exceptional! Family friendly and worth every penny!

A huge hotel ; centrally located in Playa del Carmen. It is lively and fun ; some may find it packed and noisy but not for me. The food is Hyatt standard: very good. Not every room is created equal in this hotel so do spring for the upgrade. It is worth it.

Beautiful, unique layout resort. The pools are plentiful and infinity pools. The beach area is small but very nice. Staff is great, friendly and accommodating! Room is very clean! The only complaint is room noise. I know every time my neighbor is blow drying her hair, having sex or leaving the room because I hear the door shut. I'm in room 257 view of pools and ocean front are nice but the base from the music outside can be heard in the room with doors shut.
All in all a really nice resort but if you are a light sleeper bring a fan to drown out the noise.

Great experience! We stayed at this resort for 3 nights. The rooms are extremely nice! The staff is very accommodating! We would highly recommend! Can't wait to return!

AMAZING! The first night of our stay I had commented to one of the staff how much I liked their spice cake that night… and low and behold 3 days later there was a small spice cake left in our room with the recipe for me to take home and make later on! This hotel is over the tops on service and it really is the place to stay in Playa!

Magic! A hotel where all the attentions are brought to the host. From the room, in the pool area or in the restaurant, everyone strives to get to know you at best.
Ideally placed on the beach edge, from a jump you will pass from the pool to the beach and vice versa.
I highly recommend this hotel.

Gigantic Hotel in Playa del Carmen. Very nice swimming pools. Located in front of the sea unfortunately the beach of the hotel is small and surrounded by a public beach.

The service is excellent, at the entrance they have bikes that you can borrow. The rooms are wonderful, it is evident because they have distinctives and awards, from the architecture and interior design, as the quality of their installations. I loved having my own jacuzzi on the terrace of the room. They consented us very much. The only thing I think they have to improve is the service of the waiters in the pool, as they are not pending when you want to order something to drink or eat… Once I had to go out and look for it and the second best call another one who was at the beach tables. The hotel is worth what it costs, and is an AMBIENTR relax 100%. Would go again without thinking! The spa is luxurious!

Who would give this hotel anything less than 5 stars? So confused. The spa is insane! The staff, the pool, the room, the architecture of this building… I mean everything we’ve experienced on this trip was top notch. Loved La cocina breakfast, can’t beat the views and the food is fresh and delicious. Decently priced. I’m blown away with the beauty and ambiance of this place. Will definitely be back. I picked is hotel because of the pictures I saw online, it’s better that the pictures. WALKING DISTANCE TO EVERYTHING! We enjoyed the beach/ultra sleek and modern poolside during the day then enjoyed 5th, tons of shopping and restaurants during the night. If you are even thinking about booking here, just do it. You will not be disappointed. The only con would be the club next door, so if you want peace and quiet, call he hotel and ask for a room in the front left corner (away from the club), that’s where we were and we slept soundly like babies. Also, there is no place to put your suitcase in the room besides random chairs and a small table. Other than that, it was awesome!

Fantastic place and location. Very friendly staff and everything u could need or want is available. Place is amazing. Glad I switched hotels and found this place down the street. It's not all inclusive or cheap but it's worth the money if you can afford it. Location, services, and staff is amazing. Will come back here for sure next time I'm in playa but will stay longer.

Awesome place. Hotel is amazingly clean… Such a friendly staff. I can't complain of anything about this hotel. 5-star for me definitely!

The best part about this resort is the people. From the lounge to poolside, everyone is very accommodating. My wife and I came down to Playa del Carmen for a wedding and brought our 5 month old baby daughter with us. We spent 5 days at the Hyatt, and if it weren't for the kindness and helpfulness of the staff we would have had a much more difficult time of it! We are grateful for everyone we met during our visit.

Best hotel I have ever been to! I would highly highly recommend it. Their kitchen was very responsive to our gluten-free diets. They have La Cocina and the Grill and both are amazing with tons of variety and clean food. We are extremely picky and they met our needs. Everyone was incredibly nice and helpful. Pool is beautiful. Cleanest place in Playa Del Carmen or Mexico for that matter! Wouldn't stay anywhere else in mexico!

Modern hotel built just two years ago. Directly on the beach and one block away from the popular 5th Avenue in PDC. Room was large and very well appointed with a tiled stand up shower and separate toilet. No tub however. The lobby is spectacular with a through view to the sea. Staff was very helpful and almost always smiling. The Cocina restaurant was great for breakfast and lunch. Beach service was excellent and there are lots of pools with one reserved for adults. Be wary of the beach club to the left of the lobby on the beach as the noise level can get quite high.

The club level reservation is the way to go. Having the concierge lounge was very nice. Always open to get something to drink and light snacks. My only complaint is that even though you have a thermostat control in your room, in never allows the temperature to go below 76 degrees. On our visit it was 92 degrees at 95 percent humidity. With those conditions you would want it cooler in the room. There is a overhead fan in the room, but it is basically useless.

It is an expensive hotel, they charge for absolutely everything!. They have no concessions, even if you have spent a whole week at the Hotel. The architectural layout forces you to parade in swimsuit whether you like it or not, for all social areas. In Playa del Carmen, there are many accommodation options, consider them before you think to stay at this Hotel.

The service is amazing. Fernando from Hashtag kids club makes it a must experience for kids. My boys adore him and all the kids love being Around him. Elizabeth from the CLUB is a sweet and attentive as can be and Jose and the entire waitstaff at the pool are beyond belief. We love this place. The pool the beach the rooms everything top to bottom A to Z.

Very nice Grand Hyatt. Rooms were very nice — shower was one of the best I've been in. Had a private pool out back of the rooms. Good food and drink choices, staff was friendly and accommodating. Easy walk to the restaurants and shops in Playa. I would definitely come back.

Don't stay on the left side of the hotel due to the club music. It is LOUD in the room. The pillows are awful. The staff is great, as much as they can be. Bartender downstairs, Jose is absolutly amazing! Elly in the grand club is also great. All of the Grand club employees are amazing.

Pretty hotel … the views and the place is beautiful … but the staff and the hotel team makes it a bad experience, 0 inviting 0 costumer service as guest of there guest, It might it been an option for me to stay there next vacation. But after the way they treated me is not happening.

Wonderful hotel, beautiful location. Friendly staff. Food at La Cocina is very good. It's in a great location with the beachfront property as well as being in walking distance to all the local restaurants.

Beware~theft. During my 4 day stay, I had a large amount a cash taken from my room. The only people that had access to my room were the housekeeping staff so I'll let you do the math. It was foolish of me not to use the safety deposit box located in my room, but regardless~one does not expect that a hotel on this level would employ theives. There was nothing done to rectify the situation despite my concerns. It is indeed a beautiful hotel but I'd be wary of bringing/keeping any valuables in your room. Becuase of that, alone, I cannot in good faith recommend this hotel to anyone.

Service was great. Rooms were amazing and very modern. Pools were beautiful, and the restaurants had amazing food and views of the ocean.

Simply one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever seen. The hotel is mainly structured around a central paseo (covered by a roof) with shops and bars. The paseo leads to the swimming pools and the beach. The quality of the food and of the service matches the setting: perfect in every details.

A wonderful experience. I was not a guest, but attended a private brunch at the Hyatt, spent the rest of the day on their beach. I also met friends at Hyatt bars multiple times. The service was outstanding!

Hotel itself is unbelievable! It is brand new and so is the staff. The hotel, grounds and rooms will exceed any expectations you could have but keep realistic expectations with the staff. They operate at slightly lower capacity than a motel 6. Everything considered the value may be there depending upon your needs.

It is a great hotel, but the ocean has been creating a lot of waves, but it's beautiful here.

Fantastic hotel and perfect for families with young children. The rooms are beautifully designed and the property is spectacular. Amazing views and excellent service as well. It's a bit pricey in comparison to similar properties in Riviera Maya however.

This place is going to be AWESOME when they finish construction (6:30 AM to 10:30 PM). Very nice staff, but we had to ask 3-4 times to get housekeeping issues fixed. Stunning architecture, and just one block to shopping and dining on 5th Avenue.

I like the outside design of the hotel and the pools. But I wouldn't recommend coming here over the months of June — July because it's hurricane season, you wouldn't be able to swim in the ocean because of the overflow of seaweed. But I will not come back here next year; or ever. The service isn't good; they don't take U. S dollars so instead you have to do room charge. The Hyatt hotels are supposed to be 5 star, but this one clearly isn't. I am not going to pay 500 dollars a night for some room that doesn't have ocean view.
