We love the grand fifty hotel & suites playa del carmen, very clean, friendly and helpful staff. Anyone looking for a place to stay on vacation, this is the place. 10 on 10. Amazing view, wow room, the pool.

The hotel is super nice. The service is excellent from the front desk to the cleaning staff. Super comfortable and complete to spend an amazing stay. Parking has some faults but that's no problem.

Very cozy. Private garage very small. Don't bring an SUV or large car. Room comfy, but there is construction or other noise from outside. Walls seem a little thin… nostalgic of New Orleans. Very close to 5th avenue where all the restaurants and stores are.

New Hotel so everything is in perfect condition, staff very friendly and attentive. A little bit away from the tourist zone and main, but you can go walking without problem.

My family and I stayed here from 5/30/18 to 6/06/18, it was a nice stay overall, the room had a good size to walk around, nice kitchen. The beds are nice and comfortable. Front desk and all service are really nice and helpful. Private parking is only for compact or midsize cars, we rented a midsize and was tight but worked ok. I only had breakfast there a couple of times because they don't have much to choose from (they should really do something to change it). Location scared me at first but it's ok, it is with in walking distance to 5th Ave, restaurants and other business. It is not the hotels fault but you can hear the construction from behind every morning starting around 7:30 AM including weekends. Overall a good hotel and I will stay in it again.

The rooms are very spacious and clean. The shower is the best and really big. Could fit two people comfortably! Located right next to all the action, yet very quiet in the hotel. Perfect if you need to really rest. Breakfast was VERY impressive. I was expecting the basics; toast, eggs and juice but there was an entire spread of food and lots of variety. Job well done! Only bad thing, is that the bar on the rooftop wasn't open and is only used for breakfast.

Nice hotel with huge rooms. The rooms feel more like studio apartments than hotel rooms. They include full kitchens (with full size fridge) which are really great if you want to cook your own meals. The other great thing about the hotel is the rooftop terrace and pool. The view is great and you can see the blue sea and Cozumel island in the distance. Downsides of the hotel are the poor water pressure in the shower and the mediocre breakfast.

Excellent location, huge rooms, great attention by the Staff (especially by Carlos), correct breakfasts, very good views. Optimal cleaning. Unfortunately some buildings are under construction around this hotel, and the noise can be very hellish for the relaxation requested by guests.

Very clean and cozy a few blocks from the ocean. The staff was great helping me find several things I needed.

Grand Fifty Suites was amazing! The hotel staff was courteous and very knowledgeable about what things there are to do in Playa Del Carmen. Jean Paul was an excellent source of information for how to get around to places and what to pay for excursions and what not. The hotel room was spacious! The rooftop pool was relaxing and the view was beautiful. They also gave us free tickets to their sister beach club! I recommend this place without a doubt for a nice getaway! Better than a resort.
