A place without luxuries, suitable for those who just want to rest being in front of the beach, the price of the room per night is 1600 so I consider it a good choice for those who go on an austere plan :)

To spend the night this well, the climate of Room 1 is controlled in such a way that if you feel or heat or cold there is no way to make it turn on and off from the direct weather. The toilet all the time smells like a pipe is a smell we didn't know if it came from outside or was from the hotel. The good thing about this hotel is that it is on the beach and has some beds available at no cost, plus it is two blocks from the center and the staff very attentive and willing to help.

Las instalaciones estan feas, no tenia agua caliente, y llegamos por la noche despues de un dia con muchas actividades, sudados, llenos de arena con repelente, por que hay mucho mosquito, y mis hijas enojadas y yo sin poder llamar a nadie,. Ahi la recepcion, es el bar, y solo llega alguien si te paras en el mostrador a esperar. Pero la playita esta linda, por la mañana pudimos caminar en el agua y pudimos ver pescaditos y muchas mantarayas fue muy lindo, y recomiendo al 100% la isla.

A very good place to be on the island of Holbox, is opposite the beach with a view really cool hi. The rooms are few but quite nice and comfortable. It Is close to the main square, two blocks away, where you can eat and drink to taste. As advice bring repellent to Moscos because in the night there are enough and are a can. Prices are affordable, about 1200 per night.

A very nice hotel and picturesque, with a style of seaside where you can have a quiet stay, with beach club, in an area excellent for swimming. Good service and very friendly. Recommended.

Nice place. Beachfront. But the sprinkler didn't serve well.

The rooms are not very luxurious but they are very comfortable, very quiet. The Internet is bad.

It is a good place, comfortable beds with air conditioner. Is front of the beach.

I don't recommend it. Lousy service, poor attention and lack of any commitment. Book and made payment with a month and a half of anticipation, still a day before my arrival, I confirmed the reservation and it turns out that when you get to the hotel "someone" does not process the payment and did not have my room ready and just excuse themselves with "the rehubicaremos" in another hotel. And I was not the only one, there were several guests in the same situation, seriously, lousy service and lack of commitment. I would not recommend it.

We used the camping service and the truth took a pleasant experience.

Of the small boxes very nice, clean and two steps from the beach… a very nice staff and friendly! And just to side out to the left, a good little restaurant, the "Cariocas" (advised by Casa Maya), a kitchen colors local and mostly freshly caught fish!

Good Hotel If you are looking for a bit of adventure as it lacks amenities, in particular I camping and had no problems, see the dusk and sunrise is an experience, if you look for obvious luxuries is not your choice.

Well 50 euros in Mexico with an hourly wage of 4 euros. But was the cheapest hole. Exit 8 hours KTV as in China. Unfortunately no recommendation, for a night OK, since Central.

The service was horrible from the beginning. We had booked the rooms through a booking company and it turned out to be different from the pictures and more expensive. We were asked to pay in full but thumbs up for them returning our money when we decided to switch hotels. We had booked a one bed room but they gave us a hostel type of room with 3 bunk beds, the ac wasn't working and the door didn't close. There was no way to contact the hotel personnel at any time, luckily we were able to find the person who had welcomed us, stoned on the beach.

Unfortunately though the place is located very well-there is little care in the maintenance of the miso, the hot water in my room never served even when there were attempts to fix it, I wish I put more city and give the guest options of drinks at its bar, some choice of food. There is little privacia in the room is listening to absolutely everything from the room next to it (1 and 2) not allowing the guest to be able to rest without listening to the toilet in the other bathroom, conversations, and even azotones of the doors.

They offer a separate camping area. But that was definitely one of the worst camping sports I've ever been. The bar was not even 10 m from my tent and people were partying until 7 in the morning. Drunken people were walking between the tents. Couldn't find sleep at all. Bathroom was quite ok. Toilet very clean and showers as well. Wi-Fi is very bad!

I first met Mr Lima when we stayed at his Casa Maya on Isla Mujeres 13 years ago in 2002. It was a life changing experience for my entire family. He created an amazing experience for my children who demanded to return every year for our family vacation. We had the pleasure to spend time with Mr. Lima and some of his family on various occasions, and now they are like family to us all. He has become my children's"Mexican Grandfather" and we have many great memories of the time we have had the privilege to spend together. If you are looking for a beautiful, educational & relaxing vacation at a good value, I highly recommend visiting Mr. Jose' Lima at his beautiful Casa Maya.
