Rancho Envantado is not only breathtakingly beautiful, it is peaceful and special. Every member of the staff is friendly and helpful. There is so much you can do there: paddle boards, boat ride, trips to the ruins but just being there is such a vacation! The rooms are stunning and the restaurant is 5 star!

We were in the Lagoon and were invited to spend breakfast, we found it a VERY FRIENDLY gesture because we were actually looking for some place to stop and consume! Since we arrived we were served VERY AMABLES helping us to place our Kayaks. All the restaurant service VERY CORDIAL and we made several suggestions to try!
We were all VERY pleased with what we ordered and loved the GREEN TOMATE JAM!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! We look forward to returning to Cod and staying at this place you see care about satisfying us!

Stay with some friends that we visited monterrey and the treatment was awful, bad faces, bad deals, bad ways. We pay like foreign visitors and they received a different treatment. Never we recommend this hotel.

I haven't stayed, just visited the restaurant. The food was splendid! We ordered mostly seafood and everything was fresh and super tasty. The venue itself is very romantic and a bit "fresa" but tbh not crazy expensive.

We've stayed at Rancho Encantado twice and both times have been spectacular, the scenic views of the lagoon are unique, everyone in the staff is really friendly and the rooms are very comfortable, it an ideal stay to get away from everything and enjoy Bacalar.

This is a magnificent hotel worth every penny you pay is not cheap but invests in a suit with access to the lagoon is awesome food and attention very good definitely come back!

Good hotel, still need to put Wi-Fi in the rooms, but if you are looking to disconnect from the world, rest and enjoy the best scenery in the country you can not let go the opportunity. There are rooms with and without A/C. I went with family and enjoyed it very much with various activities. If there is opportunity go to the SPA and get a relaxing massage they will leave you satisfied.

The place is AMAZING. The whole hotel is awesome. Excellent attention from the staff from the moment we arrived until we left. The lagoon is somewhat escpectacular. I recommend 100%

Very nice place, full of details and very nice corners, lots of privacy, very rich food, beautiful views. The only downside and something unpleasant was that the sheets smelled of moisture. It would also be wrong to train the staff to have more friendly and warm attention.

The attractiveness of this place is that in addition to its beauty, people are friendly with people but friendlier with nature itself!
-They Do Not allow the use of sunscreen not to contaminate the water.
-No food near the lagoon.
-Not the use of horn.

It is a paradise on earth, I think they are from the 7 places in Mexico that you can not stop visiting in your life. Wonderful place at an exceptional price.

What a magical place! The laguna changes colors throughout the day, the full moon on the water was exquisite, the food is creative and healthy, the service warm, and best of all: no distractions. Rancho Encantado is a true respite from the frenzy of daily life. And I love their emphasis on sustainability!

The concept of eco-tourism is real, there is nothing but lagoon, sun, silence and… board games If you want some extra entertainment! The only one but and areas of opportunity that I believe is about the staff who at times seem a complete attitude of service but their actions are left to duty; Example of this was the massage schedule which was only available on the following day, however the next day is not Agendó appointment and was argued that Yes was available the day before, which only commented "because it was the person of the MA Messages, if you want to schedule for tomorrow at this time we can do "maybe I expected an" you apologize "or something that let you know that on your carelessness missed the opportunity to continue the period of rest and relaxation. And another is that if you crave something like soda or some other craving in the evening, you had to foresee it, because even though there are people in the kitchen of the only restaurant, you will receive a comment like "for there is a machine at the reception" and it is uncomfortable if you are a guest of an H Otel and not a hostel.
Good place away from the hustle and bustle to spend a nice honeymoon!

The service and attention to the external customer is good but lack communication between them and they put certain excellent difficulties to you hotel. Their prices are high.

We started our experience with a super couples massage at the Spa, a beautiful cabin by the water or massaged by taking advantage of the Aquarium opened by the glazed floor, we had the pleasure to then enjoy the privatized pontoon for a meal romantic to two.
The promises were bigger than the beautiful table dream romantic music tables alone in the world under the stars. The meal was very good and Nieves, our waitress was perfect from start to finish. Smiling discreet and efficient. Everything was absolutely perfect and especially the end of our meal…

Beautiful hotel on the edge of the lagoon! The nicest hotel we have had during our 15-day stay in Mexico!

This is a very good hotel. As others have said, wonderful views of the lagoon, and lovely high quality rooms. Though it isn't too resort-like we couldn't have stayed long as it felt too self contained. The restaurant is so-so — you'll have worse food in Mexico but also probably better. Staff are a real mix: some in reception were wonderful, 1 or 2 not good at all, and the restaurant staff don't provide great service (and pester for tips, which feels cheap). So in terms of location and rooms, 5 star. In terms of hospitality experience, this can be only 4.

A magical place, really stay happy with this place. The lagoon of Bacalar is a beautiful place and found this hotel at the foot of the lake is even better. The restaurant is very good and the variety of aquatic activities are perfect for all ages.

Excellent hotel in the middle of the forest, with a sustainable concept and friendly with its environment, if you are one who can not live without Internet I commented that there is no data signal and the only part where there is Wi Fi is the restaurant, the concept of the hotel is absolute rest so there is no TV, its views are incredible and its access to the lagoon of Bacalar is privileged.
The food is very good and at good prices, they have variety of food and their portions are plentiful, it is definitely the best hotel in Bacalar.

The only annoying thing are the mosquitoes carnivores but it is nothing that is not fixed with repellent.

Stunning place right at the lake, oozing charm and hospitality with plenty of activities (open from 6.30am) to balance the relaxation. The restaurant is in line with the laid back feeling you get into, providing decent local food.

Amazing place! You are able to kayak, take a massage, or have a romantic dinner at night aside the lake. The food, breakfast, lunch and dinner, will leave you hoping to have a bigger stomach.

Best hotel we had in our two weeks trip in Mexico. This view. The hotel it located on the lagoon, it has two piers from where you can swim and chill. There is also a swimming pool if you want… Though the color is the same as the one from the lagoon, turquoise blue. Our room was very nice, modern and comfy, there was a hammock and a jacuzzi. The restaurant was good too! We also did the boat tour on the lagoon, it was amazing and our pilot was interesting and funny.

Kayaks, jacuzzi, pool, hammocks, the amazing bacalar lake, swings over the lake. Simply wonderful. About 45 min ride from Chetumal intl. Airport. Highly recommended!

An amazing place, only that the check in is until 4 in the afternoon, the flights to Chetumal arrive in the morning, so there is that too much to expect to get the room, I think that is something that must improve. I loved it! It is really beautiful. The junior suite garden with a jacuzzi (that was assigned to us) we loved it! The food is very good!

Absolutely magical. One of those places that you will remember always. Our cabin was lovely, with a terrace on the lake and is perfectly designed for everything to be comfortable, something unusual even in hotels of category. We could not be more comfortable. Swim in the lake, go kayaking, go down to the village… The hotel restaurant is also good and the breakfast is simple but rich. We stayed 3 days, but perfectly we had been to taste a few more. Hopefully the place is kept as pure and authentic always.

Outdoor hot Jacuzzi, free kayak, clean swimming pool, good service and the meals of their restaurant are really better than I expected. — Club sandwich $80 ❤ — Taco de Pescado a la plancha, con pechuga, jitomate, cebolla, Aguacate y cilantro (grilled fish Tacos, with lettuce, tomato, onion, avocado and coriander) $100: Add some lemon juice and it taste appetizing! — "Los Hechizos" salad, lettuce, tomato avocado, coriander, and house dressing with chicken $75: tasty — Guacamole $58: only mashed avocados, not the Guacamole (with tomato and onion) I like. ❤ — Garlic Shrimp $205: Fresh shrimps with special garlic sauce are unexpected delectable! — Mayan influence, Corn dough mixed with chaya leaves, wrapped and filled with boiled eggs, pumpkin seeds and topped with tomato sauce $65: The taste is special but the corn dough is too dry. It would be better if add some more juicy sauce.

My husband and stayed here for a few nights during our 1 year wedding anniversary trip. We LOVED it! Bacalar is a beautiful hidden gem away from the mainstream tourists. The reception here was professional and courteous. We stayed at one of the lakeside bungalows; how relaxing it was to swing on the hammocks and watch the beautiful lake of 7 colors. On our arrival they had decorated our room with the most beautiful intricate flower designs I have ever seen! Wonderful attention to details. The use of kayaks and life vests was also a huge plus. Very simple continental breakfast, but for the price it was quite a deal.

An absolute great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful lagoon and surrounding cenotes. I liked the Villas and the overall facilities, including the enormous Jacuzzi. The food at the hotel restaurant was awesome (don't bother going outside) I recommend the agua chiles, ceviches, micheladas and buffet breakfast. The staff is really friendly and go beyond to fulfil your expectations. We took the lagoon tour and was amazing, we definitely had a great experience. I recommend to anyone looking to relax in a Villa environment with great food and amenities at your door step.

This is one of the most magical spots we have stayed and we travel A LOT (within the US and internationally). Total relaxation is in the air, the amenities and activities are wonderful and the cuisine is unparalleled. We were very impressed with the rooms, the staff and the entire property. Definitely a place to go whether on a romantic getaway or with a family. With a family the best part is being able to let your kids somewhat roam totally free on the property without any worries. As a couple, the accommodations and the venue is very conducive to building on special connections. Truly encantado/enchanted! Thank you!
