I don’t think we could’ve found a better place to stay! The food was amazing, the staff were extraordinary and the hotel was beautiful. We will never stay anywhere else. They even came to get our bags at 330am and had a cab ready for us to go to the airport. The bartenders were so friendly and always remembered our order and were so fun! The waiters were on top of it and always trying to make your experience better. The chefs were amazing and even took the time to come out and talk to us and wish us a happy honeymoon. On the last night, our server, the chefs, and other staff made a huge deal and brought out desserts, a sign and came to wish us safe travels. Also, one day the staff surprised us at the pool with honeymoon signs with our names on them. Plus they always had things to do such as mixologist class, aqua circus show, obstacle course race, arts and crafts, vendors, yoga, silent disco, karaoke etc. We sincerely love this place and think it is the top resort in Cancun. I worked in hospitality for 10 years, this place did not miss a mark. We cannot wait to go back!

Absolutely, loved and enjoyed the overall live aqua resort experience. It was more than we expected, the staff so helpful and humble Gabriel and Helvert our waiters at the seven were spectacular. Loved the atmosphere, the ambience, very very relaxing We Iwould love to come back again next year.

I have been to Different hotels in Cancun so far this is the best. I cant even think of anything that I dont like at this resort. All the workers are very helpful. I am hoping that they will continue to have this kind of service. The whole entire building and rooms have that relaxing smell. SUPERV! I will recommend this place! Thanks to all the workers me and my husband felt like a King and Queen during our stay.

This is our favorite resort in Mexico. Customer service is superb. Pools are quiet and have never been crowded on any of our four stays here.

This place was absolutely amazing, breath taking, beautiful, and relaxing! Every restaurant in the resort has amazing food… even the breakfast buffet hit the spot! Be sure to hit up MB the steak house and try the breaded bowl green poblano soup! It’s amazing we had to go back for more! Also, the seafood place by the beach has amazing ceviche and they have a delicious soup on their menu as well. It’s the only one on there can’t remember the name. Book your cabana and make sure to get the foot massage with it…. So relaxing and the perfect massage. I also went to the spa and got the Swedish 50 minute massage (hot/dry sauna, and hot tub included in package deal). I was totally blown away by the service, quality, cleanliness and great time this place accommodate my group of girl friends on our trip. We had a blast and plan on coming back again… and again… and again! Highly recommend this to anyone looking for an all inclusive resort in Cancun! Thank you!

Second time at live aqua. Overall experience is great despite having to sit through a sales pitch to purchase another vacation. And if you don’t they will attempt to charge you an additional “public rate”. I was told I would get charged an additional $1600 for not making it.

We had heard that live aqua had the best employees, absolutely experienced it today. Our server at the cabanas, John Garcia, was phenomenal. Food, drinks, manner, charm, suggestions for vegetarian selections, willingness to go above and beyond. Foot massage by Elena was incredible!

The most amazing staff ever. The resort itself is world class, but what separates it from anywhere else in Mexico is the staff. "Your wish is my wish" if the resort motto and that truly showz with the staff. They are there to meet (or typically vastly exceed) your needs and requests and always with a smile and fun loving attitude. The food is leaps and bounds above any other all inclusive I've been to and the rooms are modern and immaculate. The most chill and Zen vibe at the resort ever. Nothing can top this resort!

Live Aqua was amazing in so many ways! From the hotel itself, to the beyond wonderful service. Food was phenomenal, views spectacular, very clean & all of the pools were fantastic. Bartenders at swim-up really took good care of our group of 14 & we loved Azur for breakfast. Great service, food & views! Sushi station & crepes station are both a great touch! Overall a truly fantastic experience & will recommend to all of our friends & family! We will be back!

Excellent hotel for a very short stay, food excellent and most staff very helpful. Unfortunately this hotel is more of a spa hotel set up with far more attention and service given to you when you tip all the time. Entertainment should be scrapped as it is a 7 day set up that is repeated every week, pretty much like Groundhog Day for a fortnight! As for places to sit in the hotel, these are non existent or not fit for purpose as there are not enough areas for all guests to sit. Special mention to Badal and Helvert in Azur for their consistent high grade service, these guys can’t do enough for you. MB restaurant is superb along with The Hidden garden. Unfortunately the towel guy/trip seller needs a humor transplant as he constantly try’s to give you the hard sell on his trips telling you he is on commission and he has a family to feed! Shame the cost of his trips were around $70 to paraglide! I would say Royalton or Hideaway is a miles better hotel for value for money and attention to detail for all guests. The biggest big bug bear is that we all sign a Covid Policy when staying in hotel, but some guests find it acceptable to continually hug waiters and management staff without even wearing a mask! Enjoying the sun though ☀️ 3 out of 5 for me x.

Probably one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Ridiculously noisy. Haven’t been able to enter my room on 5 occasions now and they have still NOT replaced the faulty lock. Tried to charge me 220 pesos for a bloody coconut at an all inclusive resort. Tried to charge me almost $50us to wash a handful of clothes. The lifts are terribly slow. Room service takes well over 1 hour to receive even the most simple of meals. The list goes on and on and on and I am here for cancer treatment in a nearby clinic. Avoid this place!

Had the BEST time at this resort for our honeymoon! All the staff was very friendly and attentive. Great food variety and quality. Comfortable cabanas by the pool with excellent drink/snack service. The rooms were gorgeous and everything was well kept and clean daily. Overall amazing atmosphere! I would definitely return!

My husband and I just got married and we came for our Honey moon to Live Aqua. We could not have chosen a better place to come enjoy ourselves. The staff is absolutely amazing especially Brito and Abi. So attentive and they made sure our stay was extra special. Chef William was amazing and surprised us with delicious meals for lunch and dinner. I have not ONE single complaint and I am happy that I bought another stay in the next couple of years. Definitely will be my every year vacation stay. Thank you to every single Aqua Live Employee, you guys definitely deserve all the credit for such a smooth running place.

Location is great, food better than most, friendly staff, super-comfy beds, great A/C… (we’ve been to Cancun close to 20 times) …
Bad:
The pool chairs/beds situation is horrible! Can supposedly “reserve” cabanas, good luck with that! Chairs and beds are supposed to be 1st. Come/1st. Serve, but like some low-rent hotels in Florida, some old person goes down at 5:30am and puts towels out to “save” them. Therefore the normal couple can’t get a place to hang for the day… they also let/comp beds and cabanas to VIP guest that stay unused ALL day long never touched. The entire thing is ridiculous and will keep us from going back… too bad, because the rest of it is way better than most resorts down here Stephan

Highly recommend and Zumba teachers are amazing. Zumba and yoga classes are amazing and teachers are fun and engaging. If you stay there, you got to try Zumba class and yoga.

Not only did they manage to ruin my boyfriend surprise proposal on Valentine’s Day… the service and food are horrible. Dumb rules about no food on the beach and they run out of bottled water everyday. For the amount of money that we paid to be here we are not satisfied with our treatment. The pool closes at 7 even tho this is an adults only resort. And If u don’t speak Spanish don’t even waste ur time coming. There’s nothing to do once the pool closes. Just all around a horrible stay. Definitely will not be coming back and I’ll be sure to write a review on every single website that I’m able to so no one else wastes there money or time.

One of the best resorts we’ve visited. The staff is out of this world. The presidential suite is bigger than most 2 bedroom apt or houses. All the pools are insane and the resort grounds are beautiful. The food and restaurants are top notch. Will definitely keep coming back.

We’ve just returned from a 10 night stay, absolutely five star service from all staff so warm and friendly, pool attendants couldn’t do enough for you, Antonio (Banderas) very entertaining and Marco smoothie maker always a big smile and of course a great smoothie to start your day the food was all top class, the rooms cleaned daily and we loved the rice decorating on the bed especially so for my special birthday, so a big thank you to all at Live Aqua for making it such a special experience, and we hope to see you again soon, Muchas Gracias.

I stumbled upon Live Aqua Beach Resort through Costco Travel. It's a great resort that is going through some construction and remodeling. It's a good location that isn't too far from the airport. The food selection is great and it's right across from the Fashion Harbor mall. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back here again.

The first words that come to mind “Excelente customer service “. My family and I went for 9 days and knew the crew by memory. Every staff member was so attentive with us in every possible way. The food was impecable, MB restaurant was our favorite. Our chef was attentive and even cooked us our catch of the day when we went fishing. Highly recommend live aqua!

Outstanding Place to Stay Super nice location with a luxury shopping mall across the street. Gorgeous building architecture. Guarded private guest-only access at the gate. The staff and service is amazing — they go way above and beyond. Free everything, even room service — huge breakfasts, bottles of wine, whatever. King room facing the beach — gorgeous room and bathroom, stocked fridge, twice day cleaning and restocking. Restaurants, pools, beach area are perfect. Great food, plenty of room at pool and beach. Private cabanas. Drink service everywhere. Jet skiing and parasailing right on the beach. Go here. Only 2 small gripes. Hard liquor is watered down and the sales pitch for membership is annoying but do it for the massages and romantic private dinner.

Live Aqua Cancun is our home away from home. My husband and I first visited two years ago and again last week for our delayed Honeymoon. This place is paradise. The service is stellar, their staff truly wants you to experience absolute bliss and relaxation. The food is terrific, every meal is wonderful. The rooms are beautiful, clean and again the staff goes above and beyond to add little touches to your room each stay! If I had to choose a negative, their tennis courts are not nearly as nice as the rest of their beautiful resort (although, I’ve learned that most of the tennis courts throughout Cancun are not of the highest quality). We love Live Aqua and plan to continue our annual visits! If you are looking for the perfect, relaxing getaway, look no further.

I am writing this review a few weeks late but I still wanted to give a shout out for the amazing time we had. This place was absolutely perfect for a couple! We were treated so well and were completely relaxed the whole week. We never waited long for anything everything was very prompt from drinks by the pool to delivery to the room. Everything was so well kept and clean it felt like paradise. Some of our favorite staff to interact with was Cesar and Cervacio at the swim up bar, they were both characters and so much fun to talk to. Angel was a saint of a server at the beach. Before we finished one drink he was out with another and kept our water bucket stock because it was so hot. He was so sweet even though he was trekking through the hot sand. Almost every night we visited Mariana for her specialty coffees. It was so fun to watch her prepare them and she was just so fun to talk to. Ashley visited us while we were by the pool a few days and we shared stories. If your going on a couple vacation there was no better place to go then here. It was relaxing and fun. They had something booked every night but a few nights we just relaxed in our room and enjoyed it just as much. One couple we talked to said they had wished there was more theatrics and things to do like at some of the other resorts but we were looking for a more relaxing feel so we enjoyed it. I definitely recommend!

Overall our stay was good and relaxing. Food was 5 ⭐. The beginning of our stay was a little rocky as we were double booked in to the same room as another couple that was checking in at the same time. Also, we were not told of any renovations going on at the hotel and ended up with a room right below construction. Another down side is there was very little live entertainment. But everything else was awesome. Spa was amazing. If you want a place to relax and unwind, this is is… very calm and quiet. Exactly what I needed.

This is our 4th time going back to Live Aqua and we are planning the next one soon! We’ve had the best experiences at this place, we just spent 5 days there with family, the great service makes you feel at home. From Alberto at the beach area, Ale at the pool bar, Rafael at Siete restaurant and Marco at the smoothie bar have made our vacation the best one ever ❤️ They are just so friendly and helpful that makes you feel like royalty. I highly reccomend this place everywhere I go, there is no other place I’ve ever stayed better than live aqua. We are definitely Aqua Lovers! See you soon.

Just spent 5 days there with a group of 11. We had an amazing time and the main reason was because of our experience with this hotel. The hotel is beautiful but the service is exceptional! The service is what makes the hotel different from every other hotel in Cancun. Victor from the Thai restaurant was so nice to us and went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and have the best time. Also Marco from the smoothie bar at the breakfast restaurant was so nice, courteous and helpful. Aminael from the pool area made sure we were all taken care of at all times. It’s people like them that make us choose this hotel over any other one every time. Thank you Live Aqua we will definitely see you soon!

Our son and daughter in-law chose Live Aqua for their destination wedding. This was the first time to Cancun for many of us. The resort exceeded our expectations. The view was breath taking and the facilities were second to none. It was clean and well kept. The food was delicious and offered quite a variety. I can't say enough about the service. We rarely had to wait for anything. It was as if they anticipated our needs before we even asked for something. The staff was friendly, yet professional. I would highly recommend this resort. We can't wait to go back!

This place is incredible and everything from check in to housekeeping to guest services has been off the charts. Historic all inclusive resorts provide "okay" food and beverage programs but from the sushi to fresh fish to amazing cuisines this place does is a class A act. We will definitely come back here; our problem is that we don't want to leave!

Good value for money 4, 5 a nice hotel, great service, pretty good location has several restaurants designed for the international tourist leaving a small space for the hot food, respecting the traditions without imposing them. Despite being a hotel all inclusive does not have transport from the airport, is the only subject to consider at the time of the election.

If you are looking for a true spa experienice, look no further! We were greeted with a cool scented washcloths, hand massage, and iced tea. Our rooms were comfortable with very nice linens, a great mattress and a diffuser with a selection of scents for the room. There was ample seating around the pool and on the beach with plenty of bars to choose from. Once a day someone would set up a table and crack open fresh coconuts to pour rum into! Each restaurant had ample selections for gluten dietary restrictions and all of the meals we had were above-average. We went as a group of girlfriends and fit right in with the rest of the demographic there. Many were repeat visitors. I hope to be one again soon!

We had a short stay here and found it very relaxing poolside. The staff were very friendly and the facilities were all in excellent condition. I was sad to see that the swim up bar was closed for renovations. The Italian restaurant was a standout. Be prepared to get added to a short waiting list around dinner time. The buffet breakfast is well stocked with pretty much anything you could want. I suggest that you take advantage of the BBQ for lunch it's fantastic. All the food options were flavourful and portion sizes were adequate given that we'd been eating and drinking all day. The drinks were as strong as you wanted and their selection didn't leave us wanting. Our room was cleaned in the morning and later in the evening. The only other thing I can add is that depending of where your room is located you may notice noise from the lobby-bar level in the evenings. Higher floors would not have this issue. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would consider returning again when we need some all-inclusive time.

This hotel was nearly perfect. The view is amazing, the rooms are nice, the service is top notch, the pools are immaculately maintained warm and beautiful. Food is amazing. Nighty low key activities (some during the day too) but mostly for relaxation, not a ton of activities which is fine by me. Highly recommend the cabanas. Only downside was them trying to push the residence club and paid excursions upon arrival. I don't mind them offering these but wish they didn't push them. Once in the room this want to hard to avoid.

We chose Cancun to celebrate our dear friend getting married. The Live Aqua resort could not have been a more perfect location. From the friendly staff to the well-thought amenities, we found ourselves constantly surprised by what they had to offer. This place has all the details nailed. You would be forgiven to think all-inclusive resort food leaves something to be desired. We tried several of the restaurants and enjoyed each one. (Pro Tip: Watch out for the random food stations serving paella or crepes. ) They also offer a range of different activities to break up a day full of pool lounging. I highly recommend Live Aqua as part of your next Cancun trip!

Very nice resort with an amazing staff. From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted with a spa like adventure. The rooms are nice and the beds were super comfy. The views are out of this world. The best part is everything is all inclusive and plentiful.

Great hotel. Excellent service. Superb food. Twice-a-day house keeping. Nice beach. Infinity pool. Swim-up bar. 24/7 room service — food and drinks (included in all inclusive). Minibar with snacks, soda and beer (included). 7 restaurants and bars. The food is also served to the pool area at no charge. The best restaurant is MB (open for dinner only). Very friendly stuff. Excellent choice of alcohol. All rooms have either ocean front or ocean view. It also has a gym, as well as a nail salon and spa (spa and nail salon are at additional charge).

How do I begin? Our experience was absolutely pristine. From start to finish the staff excelled at every level of hospitality. We had never been to Cancun and will certainly return and return to Live Aqua! Which is amazing in and of itself as my fiancé always says he never likes to visit the same place twice! Id like to specifically mention our beach server Ale (pronounced "Ally") she has hospitality down to a science. I have spent 20 + years in the hospitality business myself and understand that this is rare. Also our evening bartender "Pita". We felt quite entertained and welcomed by him! Aside from the staff the building, our room, the views and all the amenities were simply breathtaking! The food, specifically the "Hidden Garden" restaurant was divine. Certainly there are areas for improvement as in any establishment might have but they were minor and easily overlooked. Bravo, well done, thank you Live Aqua for a fabulous 8 days of bliss.

Excellent service, attention, availability and friendliness of all the staff.
The food is unbeatable, it has several restaurants of different styles in which it is not necessary to make the reservation and the attention is of first class restaurants have very good details as not controlling the use of the towels.
Real employees strive to give personalized attention and finally the attention of the manager where it makes us feel unique and important to the hotel if you find greets you ask how you feel. If you look for it makes you feel important, it is not busy for you and look for an immediate solution to your requests.

Where to start… I was honestly kind of freaked out with the gang violence happening in the area but now I feel utterly stupid. The resort is safe, beautiful, and the staff that works there is great. Francisco the bellboy was extremely helpful with information regarding what to do where to eat etc and overall extremely friendly. In. Fact all the staff was friendly! The food was great, the area is nice with shopping malls around and the water was beautiful. Highly recommend! Once in a while someone might try to sell you something like a romantic dinner etc, but if you kindly reject, they respect that and won't push or annoy you.

I'm going through my honeymoon. I have never been to an all inclusive so spectacular and with a gastronomic offer so varied and of such quality. I really recommend it for couples who know how to enjoy together quietly looking into their eyes. Each floor of the hotel has a different aroma from camphor to chocolate. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The staff is racist. They cater very well to foreigners at the expense of mistreating nationals. Not recommended. I wouldn't come back even if it was free.

Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… The property was nice and the food was good compared to other all inclusive resorts we’ve stayed at. The walk-up sushi bar was a great added bonus. The free champagne was pretty rough which is why they probably try to up sell premium bottles poolside and when dinning. The beach was is good shape and although the water was a little rough due to the season. We’ll be back.

Stayed at the aqua for 5 days. We found the resort to be just average overall. First the good: — The beach is amazing — Some of the staff were very friendly — The convenient location next to the mall — Rice greeting on the bed and welcome champagne — The all inclusive meals, especially the room service — The morning breakfast was incredible. The bad: — The first 2 days, hotel staff repeatedly called our room asking if we wanted to pay for tours or extra services. — We had to constantly avoid staff in the lobby who were trying to sale us tours, spa packages, and upgraded rooms. — Besides the breakfast buffet, the food at the resort was incredibly bland, boring and tasteless. The Asian restaurant was especially sad. — Drinks were nearly always watered down or overly sweet. To get a better drink we'd have to be very specific about how much booze to put in our cocktail. — Upon arriving we discovered that our room didn't have complimentary tooth brushes or hand soap. We went out and bought them at the store in the lobby assuming the hotel didn't provide these items. 3 days later we were surprised to see the room cleaning staff leave tooth brushes and hand soap. Small inconvenience, but frustrating needless to say.

A hotel for nothing recommended for kids, there is not a single area for them unless you leave them at the Kids Club and my kids no longer wanted to go again.

Just got back from Cancun and we had a blast! An incredible resort that went above and beyond to make sure we had the best stay possible. The grounds are pristine and the staff does an incredible job every single day. Everyone was courteous, prompt, and always ready to make your day. Not to mention amazing views of the clear, blue water and cocktail service at the pools and the beach. The food was just ok but, all in all, we were blown away. Thank you! We will come again very soon.

Great food, very attentive, clean. Very relaxing ambient with essential oils. Everywhere smells nice with the exception inbetween the elevator and the gym spa which smells like the back part of a restaurant mixed with essential oils as a cover up. But highly recommend if you want to relax. Better than party hotels.

The property was nice and the food was good compared to other all inclusive resorts we’ve stayed at. The walk-up sushi bar was a great added bonus. The free champagne was pretty rough which is why they probably try to up sell premium bottles poolside and when dinning. The beach was is good shape and although the water was a little rough due to the season. We’ll be back.

Best vacation ever. Beautiful rooms, clean atmosphere, gorgeous pools you want to stay in all day. Mostly couple's, relaxing singles. Not a party venue. Excellent services and prices. Love cabanas.

The hotel is a dream come true. Service is awesome, everything is very clean and organized. You can eat basically everything, from sofisticated plates to ordering pizza in your room. Very peaceful, has a lot of activities and small shows. I would recommend it. It is very good located — in front of the mall La Isla, where you can buy clothes, souvenirs and also go to the wax museum and swim with the dolphins. It is very easy to get a bus and go to downtown as well. Awesome.

Wow wow wow Is all I have to say Adults only, fantastic staff whose only ambition is to please u. Amazing world class spa, treat u like royalty with personal attendant at every step. Had a relaxing 3 day weekend Would do it all over again Cant wait to come back.

I cannot even begin to explain how absolutely amazing this hotel is! We had an entire wedding party booked at ME Cancun and the hotel wasn't done being renovated the hotel feeding lies and being dishonest. Needless to say we were not pleased as we were paying for all inclusive not a 40% open hotel with 2 restaurants. So with literally 4 days until we wrre set to leave we reached out to live aqua to see if they could accommodate our wedding party of approx 40 on such short notice. They went absolutely above and beyond for us to ensure we were taken care of! The wedding manager Paola Gomez and Adriana Castro the group sales manager were phenomenal! They not only secured the rooms for us they were able to get our group a discounted rate AND coordinate a reception for us (as it was to be at the other hotel). Generally wedding groups have months of notice — the fact that these ladies made all of this happen in literally a 48hr window is mind blowing! Their customer service is bar none! They are a life save and quite literally saved my friends wedding! A true 5 star hotel in service!

The best resort in the area. It's my second time here and I love it. Perfect service, friendly staff, nice atmosphere, good location (in front of Malls and a couple of miles from most of the famous clubs). Great restaurants, but it needs to improve the dessert menu. They don't worth it. Empty calories. Totally tasteless. I wish they have better desserts next time because I definitely want to come back here again. I'm an Aqua lover!

Awesome beach, we've been to 5 different all inclusive resorts in Mexico. Live aqua has the best best food of them all. Everything wonderful, but Secrets seems to have just a little more attention to detail. Very great resort!

I was with friends who came to visit Cancun from United States, in one of the bars had the opportunity to listen to a great Duet of guitar players singing songs of the 60s, 70s and 80s.

Stayed at Live Aqua twice. The first time less people but could not go in the ocean because of so much seaweed. This past time the waves & current was terrible. The ocean in this location is always red flagged. Good luck trying to get a lawn chair. A cabana forget it. They have about ten free & 60 if you are willing to pay. They all had reserved signs on them & at the end of the day I counted over 40 that never had been rented. (6 days). When I told Jacqueline the supervisor we had no where to sit she just talked her way around it. Then everyday she would see me & act like she cared & I was her bestfriend but never did a thing about it. Don't buy anything in their shop. They ran my credit card 4 times said it didn't work. Never got my merchandise, but had a $26 charge on my credit card. The rooms out dated & need work. The breakfast buffet very good, but the dinner is not edible. I have been to Cancun 6 times & I will never give Live Aqua my thousands again!

We've stayed at Live Aqua three times in the past 3 years. Every visit has topped the previous one! The restaurants are terrific, the beach and pools are beautiful but the service is what puts Live Aqua at the top of the list. The yoga teacher is top-notch as well. I would recommend Live Aqua for anyone wanting a relaxing beach vacation.

DON'T STAY THERE! I stayed in Live Aqua Cancun resort, and the place stunk the entire time I was there. I can't understand the reviews that do not mention the foul order. It smells like the inside of a port-a-potty, I mean really stinky and its the entire hotel! I had to wash my entire clothes, hair, and spray my luggage with air freshener after I left that foul-smelling hotel. It was a miserable experience. Now, the food. HORRIBLE, unless you like soggy hamburgers and inedible meats. Drinks are watered down as well. Also, my room leaked and I was not moved to another room. They staff finally came and fixed the leak from the bathroom (it was the toilet). By far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in at Cancun, and I have been to Cancun 12 times. Cheap Caribbean is how I booked my tripe to Live Aqua, and they had it listed as a 5 star resort. It's not even a minus 20 star, in my opinion. I contacted Cheap Caribbean when I returned and got a refund of some of the costs, because Live Aqua is not a cheap resort. I also took Cheap Caribbean to task about the 5 star rating, because its not worthy of 5 stars. Oh and did I mention the horrible stench! The beautiful beach is the only redeeming feature about the hotel. You couldn't pay me to stay in that hotel ever again! RUN don't walk AWAY from this hotel. If you stay there, you will regret it BIG TIME! Signed by a person who really stayed at Live Aqua!

Just got back 5/10/16. Had the most amazing vacation. This was the best all inclusive I've ever stayed in. A special thank you to Armineal who served us our drinks and to the rest of the wonderful staff for making this vacation absolutely wonderful. Restaurants were wonderful, buffet was terrific and drinks were especially delicious. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a relaxing vacation. Can't wait to return!

Love this hotel. Very modern and comfy rooms with the most exquisite amenities. 24/7 room service, great staff, delicious and chic restaurants, sauna, gyms, buffets… Everything is outstanding. Big pool just in front of the white sand beach! No kids allowed, so you can really enjoy a quiet, chic and amazing getaway!

Staff is great. Food is wonderful. The entire experience has been amazing. Private terrace room has a great view and can't been seen by anyone.

Pros: rooms decor, cleaningness, staff, food, pools, beach, drinks, spa Cons: night entertainment, Wi-Fi (very much for slow) If not for night entertainment I would give this hotel 5 starts. We were greeted by friendly staff, offered hand massage and quick tour of the place. Check I was quick and within minutes we were in the room. Our room was a Garden View and overall clean and updated decor. In hotels we stayed before rooms were cleaned once a day. In Live Aqua at least 2 if not 3 time a day. I absolutely loved it. Staff were friendly and helpful. They have pool boys that can bring you towels, drinks and anything else you need. No stupid cards to exchange for the towels. I liked it a lot. Food was very good. Restaurants have different options from buffet and no reservation is required, but on first come first served basis. Beach is very clean, great option with cabanas and you get free feet massage when you reserve a cabana. Drinks and food options near pool and bech are great. They actually grill and bring fresh salads, so you don't have to leave the pool and get dressed in a middle of a day for lunch. No difference which room you are in you get good service and constantly offered drinks and snacks. Spa is good. I'm very picky when it comes to massages and mine was very good. The only down side is night entertainment. DJ in a bar 3 times a week only and played music you can't dance to.

I've been wanting to rate this since I've been back we spent 5 days there (just last week). Haven't stopped talking about it and recommendating to everyone to go there at least once. Spa like resort and they spoil you rotten which I loved. (mind you I'm single mother of three) I've stayed at many many hotels throughout my travels both business and leisure or both, But all inclusive place for just adults waaahooo I was Happy. The only only issue was that we didn't have sun everyday Buy vs. Chicago weather it was still better and plus no one can control weather. Hmmm I tried aaall kinds of food & drinks of course. Pools were great, hospitality great, bed great. Just super relaxing they dared not allow us to carry our luggage or open the door for them when we ordered room service so I was loving it. My love, was with me and he was as amazed as I and he's been all over the world… (baseball guy). We even met a lady there who happened to be there for her 5th time just because and she didn't even own a time share! She talked to us about it all and even showed her welcoming gifts… picture frame of her and her family hung on the wall and others. Any who a must definite and FYI they have their own shuttle service, Lomas, from the airport so don't talk to anyone but them lol.

The process for giving a guest staying in this hotel a gift is very difficult. Their policy is very difficult or not possible to swing in most cases. I have worked in the hospitality industry in the states and sent many gifts to guests staying at hotels. We always tried to make everything as easy for our guests and anyone else that might be a future guest. Trying to get this done has been a terrible experience and therefore I will never stay with the LIVE brand of hotels. Its a shame because it looks like the accommodations are great!

I've stayed at 3 different hotels in cancun (this one, Leblanc, and Grand Oasis Sens) / and walked through almost all the cancun hotels, and this one is the best one. Between the gorgeous views, the activities, the restaurants, and the friendly staff/ wonderful service, this resort comes with my highest recommendation.

The aqua suite is a dream, the beautiful hotel, the details of the hotel to the customer exceeds any expectation. The food is excellent and the restaurant MB is exquisite with first world gourmet food with its unique chef and waiters. The SPA with professional massages restructure any Contracture, incredible.

Really enjoying our stay immensely. The food and service are amazing. The beach is clear and gorgeous. We are on our third full day and already considering a return trip. We upgraded when we arrived to a Terra Suite with the Aqua Club status and so glad we did. We are able to reserve a cabana each day with a 20 minute foot massage, included in the upgrade… the perks are plentiful when going for the AC upgrade, for sure. We came with a couple we met while vacationing in the DR last year and they are a bit more well travelled than us, and have a lot more all inclusive's under their belt… they said they'd definitely consider returning. Restaurants: MB food and service was amazing… hubby and I celebrating 25 years of being together this year and they spoiled us rotten with a pre fix menu. I only wish I didn't drink and eat so much during the day because I got a little wonky towards the third and final course… there's always one day during an all inclusive, where I tend to overdo it… yesterday was it. I will go back to MB before the week is over with a clearer head and more room to scarf! Azur is really solid, too, with great selections for a light lunch. Tuna tar tar is yummy. Hidden Garden was great fun and the food a big hit… Peking Duck gets a big thumbs up. They have one restaurant that serves as an all day buffett. We've eaten there twice for breakfast and at night upon arrival, and the choices and quality were all very good.
