Excellent staff, food and amenities. Overall we were very impressed with the services we received and the staff were courteous and professional. The food was fresh and dishes were tasty and presentation was 5 stars. Our room, 958, had a beautiful view of the pools and beach. Our room was clean and comfortable. The entertainment in the evening was excellent and thoroughly enjoyed variety. For our very first visit to Mexico, we were very happy with our choice.

I cannot say enough good things about this resort. From the friendly staff everywhere on the property to the most amazing food, no detail was missed. The entertainment staff by the pool was phenomenal. We were blown away by the nightly shows as well. Our favorite was the led show. Everyone was professional and friendly. The resort was clean and sanitary and there is improvements coming around every corner. The choices of dining were perfect. From sit down luxury to laid back casual. Never had a bad meal. The bar tenders at the Dive Bar at the pool were outstanding. They were fast and made yummy drinks. There is nothing we would change about this resort. The size is perfect and not overwhelming and as I said the staff was a cut above the rest. We will be spreading the word and will be back as soon as possible.

AWFUL PLACE AVOID! Low grade! You are like cattle! The service is so BAD! it’s dated, they don’t care, no lunch menu outside (forget a nice salad! ) you que to get a burger or hotdog! really disappointed. Asked for room Service one night at 2am told only chicken nuggets, Waited an hour and I wouldn’t have given it to my dog! 🤮🤮🤮🤮. This is not an upmarket place! Shame on you you spoilt my cancun experience : (

Everything was great — only 2 cons I can think of is the pools…. Wayyyy tooo hot. Not sure if they are heated but totally not needed when everyday it feels like 100° outside. Pools had to be above 90° and not refreshing at all when it’s so hot outside. 2nd was the beach — probably not really the hotels fault but the seaweed was out of control and overpowering the beach. I’ve seen some hotels “rake” the seaweed by the shore but this was not touched and just sooooo much. It may have also been the season (end of august). But everything else was pretty awesome.

My wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary here and it was wonderful! Every day and night was packed with fun activities and fine dining and plenty of moments of relaxation! The staff were always helpful! It was 12 out of 10 for us! 😊

Good service and good attention from the staff. First class facilities, very rich food. The bad thing is that their computer systems are archaic and that delays the attention especially at the check inn.

Beware of the good reviews. It’s a scam! Rude staff, pushy and desperate salespeople trying to trap you into presentations that are really time share, didn’t provide us a covid test prior departure, food and drinks were disrespectfully tasting, butler scammed me into a review saying it’s for him and that he needs the 5 star, but as you open the QR CODE the review it’s for the resort not him, scheduling a pick up from the airport was terrible we had no less that 15 calls trying to get someone, rooms are outdated bathroom is really small. The price you pay for this is embarrassing I don’t even want to tell anyone about the amount if money we spent on this trip. THIS IS NOT A REGULAR HARD ROCK, it’s a timeshare s**tbox. On our way out again they tried to sell us a timeshare completely ignoring that we were in a rush to the airport since they couldn’t get us covid test. That’s when I rudely turned around and not even listen to what they had to say.

This is my happy place, we have been to this hotel 4 times. Great food, wonderful pool and terrific white sand beach with my gorgeous blue water. Can’t get enough of it. The staff goes out of their way to give you a once in a lifetime experience.

Our experience was a amazing both me and my partner Gary had the best holiday. The staff was amazing would like to mention bicho our pool boy always had our sun beds ready for us in the morning. Nothing was to much for him, Bar staff jules, gonzales, vincento and Sami helped us work through the cocktails at our own peril also the excursion advisor Lucy from aqua world I highly recommend booking through her. We did parasailing and swimming with the dolphins at Xcaret again highly recommend. Can’t name everyone the hotel was outstanding throughout our whole 14nts became part of the family.

Amazing Hotel with a beautiful beach and great amenities to enjoy 24/7. There is always something going on for all family members. The staff was fantastic throughout the stay and extremely friendly. The food was amazing. We are looking forward to our next trip.

We came here for our honeymoon, we loved it! We had a special honeymoon dinner, and the food and service were great! So beautiful and lots of fun activities and entertainment! Whether you’re looking for a party, or a quiet spot on the beach, they have it! Definitely will come back!

Amazing Honeymoon at Hard Rock Hotel Cancun! Two words… All Inclusive… The food was delicious, the pools and beach were awesome, the entertainment was excellent, etc. They had so many cute honeymoon treats for us along the way. Everyone was so friendly especially the front desk, the photo dept, gift shop, all the restaurants and at the pancake and omelette station. Alvaro at the front desk, Diana at zen, Elias in photo, Guadalupe, etc were all super nice and helpful. We absolutely loved honeymooning here.

I loved every minute there. The staff was great, and the food was yummy. I will definitely be back.

From the moment we arrived nothing but 5* treatment. The friendliest (and funniest) staff. Had such a laugh with everyone, never wanted for anything, the service was so good. The restaurants in the hotel serve such amazing food that you leave feeling mind blown that it’s included in your all inclusive package. Entertainment was fun, Michael Jackson show was so much fun! Will hopefully go again.

We have stayed here last year and we had an amazing time! All the stuff are extremely friendly and helpful. The food was really nice and it was just everywhere! We were never hungry :D The atmosphere is really cool and friendly. Beautiful beach with lots of things to do. We loved Jet skiing! Full equipped bar and a Jacuzzi in our room was an additional bonus. Great gym, constant gigs and shows… You will never get bore! An amazing experience. I would love to come back sometime! Wonderful place! Let's start with check in, they upgraded our room from ocean view to ocean front… yes they wanted us to hear their spiel about membership, but when we said no thank you, that was it. We were never asked again. The room was gorgeous, spacious, very clean, and most imporant. Comfortable. They had turn down service, snacks and drinks were restocked daily. The food was great at all the places we ate at. They had food available all day around the pool… and anacks available in the main lobby. Plus 24 hr room service all included. We did not try the room service. What we enjoyed the most were the wonderful people working there. They really went our of their way to make you feel welcome and that your business was appreciated. These people are some of the hardest working you will find and they do everything with a smile. The shows were great. And yes… they have a seaweed problem, but they do all they can to clean it up daily. Don't make that the reason you don't go. The hotel and pool are reason enough! Go. You won't regret it.

Awesome hotel! Awesome design, style, rooms, lobby, pool, beach, stuff — everything. All inclusive is very useful, you have an access to all the restaurants and activities. This hotel is as good for families as for adults only or for group trips.

Stayed here with my family for vacation this summer. One of the best experiences of my life. The hotel itself is top of the line, and everything is great, especially the food. They have coordinators that will help you plan events and activities outside of the hotel. What really makes the Hark Rock is the service. From the waiters, to bartenders, etc. Everybody was so nice, friendly, and helpful. I don't think I ever had such incredible service as I did at the Hark Rock. It would be hard to find any complaints about Hark Rock in Cancun, and anyone who's looking to stay in Mexico should come here!

We stayed here a few months ago and it was amazing. The rooms are clean but I'm not a big fan of all the glass in the bathroom area… not much privacy. The beach is beautiful there. The pool is wonderful. We enjoyed all the restaurants but our favorite was the Asian food. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. It's an easy drive from the airport. They had such a wonderful selection of attractions for guests to book and enjoy. I highly recommend this place! Worth every penny!

Our family had a wonderful time at Hard Rock! Great customer service. Their crew and staff all over this resort are accommodating and very nice. Quality of food is very good, their flank steaks especially at Ipanema are juicy and delicious. They may only have 4 restaurants in this place, but you will find a wide variety of delicious food everywhere—outside by the pool, by the beach, by the hallways, at the lobby, even at the welcoming area. Also the 4 restaurants serve high quality choices of food. The beach is also prestine, that is when you come at the right time. There are times the beach has a lot of seaweed so be aware. Entertainment is also on going at this place. There’s always something fun to do. Overall, our family had a blast staying at HR. We’ll comeback again.

Fun for the whole family. Feels very much like a cruise ship minus the seasickness. Daily poolside entertainment and pool games; nightly shows; pool table; shuffle board; karaoke; blackjack; way too much to list. Hotel was clean and the food was great — tip-make your dinner reservations on the prior day. Resort credits are a little confusing and can only be used on certain things with an additional 20% usage fee. We were there the week of July 4th, they had an awesome pool party and in the evening an outdoor banquet with a live band and fireworks. I highly recommend this resort for families because of all of the amenities and unlimited food and drinks which even includes free 24 hour room service. I wouldn’t recommend for older senior citizens or couples wanting a quiet romantic getaway — the atmosphere is very lively.

In a about a week we will be vacationing here for our 3rd time. We love everything about the hotel and what it has to offer. From the daytime activities on into the evening the entertainment staff goes above and beyond. To be honest the entire staff does this. Angel in the pool bar and charlie (carlos) in the smash bar were our favorites. We look forward to seeing them again. We are counting the days to our 7 days of paradise.

This resort has really gone down hill since it was Cancun Palace. The quality of liquor has gone down and he food is only so-so compared to before. While most of the staff is super friendly, the sales staff and Member Services staff constantly tell you one thing but then do another. They say “this is all you need when you get there” but then when you get where you’re going you find out they didn’t give you everything you needed and it costs you more money than what it should have. And it’s not a language barrier because we speak decent Spanish. We decided we like Palace Resorts MUCH better.

Buyer beware. I paid $4200 for my husband and I for a week in the Deluxe Platinum room with an ocean view. Pictures looked amazing! Just checked in and they won’t switch our room. All we see are palm trees, their courtyard and the other side of the hotel. My first and last visit is all I can say. Update: Google won’t allow me to reply to your response. I’m in room 218, the jerk at the front told me and I quote “in all all fairness, the level you booked is ocean view, not ocean front and you can see the ocean. ” I showed him the picture again where an inch of ocean is visible through the trees and asked if that what he meant and he said yes. I did not pay $4200 for this. I could have spent $1000 less for this view on a different package.

Overall great time! Good food lots of variety. Couples massage was nice and relaxing. Did have a disturbance at 130am with the staff powerwashing the common area outside my ground floor room. The generator was awfully loud but after a call to the front desk the noise was removed.

This is a beautiful hotel! If you like Rock/Pop music you will enjoy it even more. If you don't like noisy places this is not the hotel for you. We had the chance to stay at the presidential suite; it had a bath tub, 2 separate sinks in the bathroom, king size bed, separate living room area. Their service is great, everyone is so nice and polite. Drinks are really good at the bar near the lobby. Food is great too. They also have a pool table, and other games. They have shows at night which are really good and fun. The hotel has a great location; if you want to move, you can take a bus right outside the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel.

This is just a short list of issues we experienced after an 8 day stay at Hard Rock Cancun April 29-May 7. -April 30 severe food poisoning after eating at Zen restaurant. -They told us no one but us was sick. I spoke with another wedding party who voiced they had 21 of their 70 sick, with 11 too sick for wedding. After so many were sick I noticed they began pushing hand sanitizer when checking us in at restaurants. The gift shop ran out of anything for upset stomach, nausea, diarrhea. This tells me we weren’t the only guests sick. -Room keys and entry device wouldn’t work. -Sink and shower smells of sewage when drained. -Zoe front desk at check out was rude and inefficient. -1 hour + wait for any room service, even if it’s for a soda or water that should have already been stocked in the fridge. -Mini fridge was only stocked first day, after that we had to call for water and sodas, they would bring one at a time. -Housekeeping never cleaned our room until asked multiple times. -Although we scheduled a 9:00 am cleaning the day prior to our wedding, we ended up cleaning our own room the day of our wedding, because housekeeping never came to clean it and photographers were there. -The elevators are extremely slow and small. Very inconvenient when your room is on the 10th floor. We took the stairs most of the time. -No turn down service although with room upgrade we were to have this included. -Concierge hung up on us multiple times when we tried to address problems.

Came here for a wedding with a group of about 76 people for a wedding. Throughout the week we were here over 30 people from our group got sick with flu like symptoms all on different days and at different times so it was NOT a specific restaurant we had eaten at. The resort credit is a complete rip-off. I don’t think the cleaning crew changed my bed sheets the entire time I was here and they left a dirty diaper in our room after cleaning it which was not a big deal but Clearly they aren’t doing a great job of cleaning if they’re forgetting to clean up the dirty diaper. The front desk was incredibly dismissive when we brought it to their attention that everyone was sick. If I could give this place 0 stars I would.

I have never seen a nicer hotel place lovely food at will drink we don't speak very nice staff I'm really pleased to have made a unique experience.

Our first interaction with this Hotel was the moment we stepped out of the Airport. We had arranged for a shuttle to pick us up and take us to and from the airport. When we stepped out of the airport we easily found our driver who was VERY professional and knew exactly what he was doing. I am so glad they sent us a picture of the uniform and sign via email because there are tons of drivers wanting to charge you tons of money to take you to the hotel and I found the price we paid to be fair especially for the peace of mind. When we got to the hotel around 10am our room was not ready yet even though we had asked for early check in but not to worry because they upgraded us to Rock Royalty for free. (Thanks, Liam) Still had to wait another 4 hours to get our room though. Our room had a pillow menu, king bed, large tv, 2 person jetted tub, 24hr room service, aroma therapy. Also Rock Royalty gives you access to a private section of the beach, private terrace, private pool… so yeah it was awesome. I will say I wish that both pools on the private terrace were adults only but at least one is. The thing is they are pretty small so kids do kind of take over. Most (not all) employees we interacted with went above and beyond to serve us and seemed happy to do so. We did have a bad experience in one of the Hotel Stores called Pier 27. We went down there to try and find a magnet for our fridge at home (we get one for every place we travel together).

Rooms are a little small… But food isn't bad and the service nice. The pool is a bit crazy and gets super crowded. You must get up EARLY if you want to get a spot for your group, and folks claim chairs then leave and don't return until much later. And there are chairs in the pool water, and those folks put their belongings below the chairs behind them on the deck… where folks are already sitting… So yea. It gets to be a cluster! But still a nice vacation. Spendy. Definitely paying for a brand name, here!

Great Hotel All inclusive its facilities are spectacular and appropriate for an unforgettable holiday, would improve a bit the rooms especially in the privacy where the noises of the surrounding rooms are heard as if it were in yours, the Excellent service all the staff super attentive at all times except the timeshare staff which consists of a one and a half hour sales talk in exchange for a promotion on some tour, in our case it was Xcaret 2x1. What they are looking for is to become a member of hard rock and ensure that your next vacation is in that hotel chain, with a great deployment of a highly trained staff and a whole structure calculating to the minimum detail abordandote to make you uncomfortable to the point where They annoy and you feel like everything is a hoax and all you want to do is run to the beach and not be listened to these guys trying to sell you something you're not interested. Keep in mind that in Cancun almost all hotels in the hotel zone are all included, which you pay and you can not enjoy the days you will do activities outside the hotel as Cancun has a wide variety of parks and beaches that are worth knowing. I recommend Xcaret, Xichen Itza, Isla Mujeres.

All very organized, very good food and the place is amazing!

This was an all inclusive resort. I felt like a king here. You could do almost everything. Get your haircut, restaurants, gym, room service, even have your clothes dry cleaned. Everything was free except some things like getting a haircut. I would say this hotel is family friendly.

Upon check into our hotel room we noticed pubic hair in the hot tub and shower and called the front desk to advise them of this after two phone calls we realized nobody was going to come. I went to the front desk to ask for a new room and was told they were sold out. Still nobody came to clean our room. Our key card to gain entrance to the room never worked so we constantly had to wait for security to gain access to our room. They say they fill your mini bar every day which is not true we had to call everyday for supplies. The maid came every day between 6 and 7 p. M. Two words we heard everyday constantly was I'm sorry. Hard Rock management should send their employees next door to Secrets the Vine where I have stayed three times before but don't allow children is why I had to stay at Hard Rock. 4 words you will only hear at secrets the vein everyday is. It'll be my pleasure. I recommend if you have kids to stay anywhere but the Hard rock.

Excellent place, warm attention, family place, unbeatable sea view, pools in good condition and food meets expectations. The Kids Club is recommended, very attentive to the girls.

Since you arrive you feel more than satisfied and as you spend the days you are very pleased, the staff excellent… the services and amenities 11 points, nice attractions and an international atmosphere. Regrettable the inconvenience that you occasion legendary to associate are endless, they find you in the hallways and they stop you, they find you in the elevator and they stop you, they find you at breakfast and they stop you, they call you on the phone every day first thing in the morning To have another interview, they do not understand the customer's priorities, which is to enjoy this majestic HOTEL. I know it's his job… but his superiors do not understand that one is on vacation… do not understand the No… They are hard to understand that we did not go to do business or buy packages in hotels. For all others nothing to say… just praise. A beautiful Hotel with a wonderful staff.

The facilities are quite spacious with a unique ambience it is a perfect place to rest, the food is excellent various options like Brasseiro, Italian food, Japanese food and obviously American food the exquisite cocktails the staff is quite Friendly and always willing to help, I really liked the cleanliness of the pools that are very good, I want to repeat.

Beautiful! We were attracted with an invitation to get to know the hotel. Once there they take you to the restaurant where they greet you with a delicious breakfast, they offer a tour around the hotel, and they will kindly lead you to a lounge. The downside is that there is a company leading destinations, with skilled vendors who coerce people to buy a membership. It's a real odyssey to get out of that room. They don't allow you to retire without having agreed to buy a package. Care! Because they omit information.

Hard Rock was very nice. It's definitely a fun hotel to stay in, there is always some activity or party going on. The restaurants were pretty good. Our room was very nice with an amazing view, it even had 4 different types of liquors on tap. If there is one complaint I will make, it's that there is only one hot tub/jacuzzi by the pool area and it is off limits to regular guests, it seems to be a "members" only jacuzzi for the time share owners.

We stayed at the Hard Rock in Cancun for 4 nights for the Floor Coverings International 2018 Annual Convention. It was one of the best stays and conventions we've had in the last 8 years. The hotel was great, food was great, and staff was great. We had a Michael Jackson impersonator show that was very entertaining with beautiful dancers, and fireworks. There was a foam/dance/pool party one afternoon. The music was good. It was an easy place to make home for a week. The beach was beautiful with amazing sand and the color of water was amazing. I hope we have our next convention there as well!

The rooms are newly refurnished. The staff is fluent in English and helpful to make every bit of your experience smooth. They also have a string of events every day and music is always playing somewhere. The food is pretty good with some dishes tasting perfect and others mediocre. The vibe overall is great for people who love all inclusive experiences with a fun party atmosphere.

It's an amazing hotel. The service and attention is of Primel level. I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and highly recommend it. It is a very chosen place for weddings and honeymoons, however also many people choose it for their holidays. The hotel offers many activities. The ideal is to go as a couple. This place is completely all inclusive. I love that even room service and laundry was included. The food was tasty, but I would avoid the sushi. Their best item is definitely the flank steak. They're very accommodating if you ask for anything. I'm taking a star because there was a large bug in the room and I hate bugs.

This hotel is fairly new opened in 2012 while the rooms extremely clean and beautiful very well designed the facility is extremely large, one can get lost in its facilities. But the grounds are absolutely beautiful the staff very hospitable. The food is good not fantastic especially for an all-inclusive. There are quite a few pools of the IP area if you're willing to pay the extra and of course the beach is undeniably beautiful I would recommend the stay if you don't mind the big corporate large facility, if you want something smaller like a boutique or bed-and-breakfast I would not recommend it.

Location a bit out of the way, rooms very nice, but a/c could have been better, service great, pools and beach really nice, only one bar inside hotel, and many outside. Cool daily events. Wi-Fi not the best. Overall very fun cool place. Would stay there again…

Excellent hotel The facilities are very complete and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and friendly. The food is varied and the best thing about the hotel is its visit to the sea and the beach.

On my last visit I was robbed of the room a bottle of Moet and the hotel did not care anything. The service has dropped considerably for the national tourist, if you do not give them $1 for every service/drink you ask them to do it in a bad face and simply ignore you. Instead of being the inclusive you should give your dollars at the entrance or tell you that gratuities are not included to take change and to enjoy what you expect to be a very good holiday.

The best resort I have ever stayed at. If your a pool person who likes crowds it's is excellent. If your looking to relax head to the beach. No reservations required for restaurants. And the rooms are well laid out and generous spacing.

I am a legendary member which is a membership they sell you at the resorts to have access to about 5 or 6 of their properties. The membership was very pricey but I have stayed at the Riviera Maya property on 4 occasions now and am absolutely in love with it. So after having such wonderful experiences there I decided it was time to visit another property, I chose the Cancun property… I wish I hadn't. It was a completely different experience. For the most part service was okay but definitely not outstanding, the housekeeping never supplied my room or restocked necessities, the bartenders would ignore us for about 5 minutes before even taking our order, and there was not a full spa like at the other properties. I was there about 5 days, spending my resort credits left and right (through a credit I had on my membership not just the room itself) when suddenly at dinner I was told I was not authorized to use them. I was being told I was not an authorized user on MY OWN MEMBERSHIP! The server then said to give him a moment to try to correct the issue and he came back with a supervisor whom I thought was going to apologize for the mistake but instead told me the same thing! So by now other people in the restaurant are staring at me like I am doing something wrong, as if I had tried to commit some kind of fraud. Then a 3rd person comes out and it was turning into a scene. I became frustrated but remained calm, stern but calm.

ONE OF THE BEST RESORTS I HAVE EVER VISITED! If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would! This place was beautiful the beach was stunning! It is a man made beach, but this does not diminish the beauty of this place or the gorgeous water! One side is adults only, the other is family friendly, really awesome night club with an indoor swimming pool, the rooms are gigantic, and if you have the money, you can pay for the Brett Michaels Suite! Great food, great drinks, its a pricey resort, but completely worth the experience. Highly recommend!

DO NOT VISIT HARD ROCK CANCUN if I could give them a negative number, I would. I traveled on vacation to Cancun from August 2-6, 2017. I stayed at the Unico 2087 resort. The resort suggested that we visit the Hard Rock resort on Saturday August 5th so we could see their nightclub. When we arrived all eight (4 couples) of us were told that we had to give them our I'd cards and that they would give them back to us when we left. Being in a foreign country we felt uncomfortable giving up our I'd cards. We asked if they could just take photocopies of the ID cards. They forced us to give them the cards. There was another van containing ten people that left our resort at the same time. They were behind us in line. When they went to the counter they showed their IDs and were given back their ID cards. The difference was they were all white and we were all black. They couldn't explain why they treated us differently so we demanded our IDs back. They gave them back. I have never been so insulted and offended in my life. My travel agent wanted us to go over there to see if we like it so she could book us reservations at that resort. I will never stay at that racist hotel chain. I can't believe you guys are so blatant in your racism. I will definitely spread the word to all of my friends. We are all Navy veterans who still serve our country as civilians. We were all out on date night and your ignorance ruined that. You need to treat everyone equally.

It was a pleasant experience for the money. My experience was with the adult only side, Heaven. The buffet dining during the day was adequate, not great. The restaurants for dinner were very good, and did not overcook my lamb! Pool area/beaches were nice, and the service was quite good. I would recommend it, though only 4 stars as the value for money could be improved (we had a large storm and our room leaked, the hotel could use more physical improvements as it feels a bit dated).

Went here for Spring Break 2k17. Had a wonderful experience here! Staff was helpful and friendly. Restaurants were delicious and are each different and worldly cuisines. Breakfast places are wonderful. Food and drinks are flowing constantly. Live entertainment is unique. Only negative aspect about this place was that the waves on the beach were very rough (but that has nothing to do with the hotel). Would highly recommend this hotel — especially for families.

It's a great location on the hotel zone. Has one of the best beaches. It is a bit "Americanized" experience of Cancun, prefer it when it was Cancun Palace. The rooms facing the beach side are great, the lagoon facing rooms are ok. The service provided is the best part of the hotel experience, they have wonderful service oriented employees.

This hotel is worth every penny. Tve Dios os wonderfuñ, reinos are strong and there's literally something going on always. It's unfortunate the pool and beach close so early (8pm) but that's pretty much my only complaint. Staff is friendly and prompt, amenities are boundless and there's always fun to be had. C:

Great hotel & overall experience. Staff is outstanding, it's been clearly well trained to attend guest with great customer service. The beach area is way larger than neighbor hotels, although the best spots are reserved for "concierge/premium" rooms or members. Great activity planning, it might be a bit noisy and from my perspective it's more a 16+ hotel than family oriented, wouldn't bring my kids. I gave it 4 stars for the food, in general it's ok but they could improve quality and variety, it meets expectations just don't expect top notch cuisine.

Stay was great, staff very pleasant and accommodating. Hercules was awesome taking care of the pool. Front desk was very deceptive and ended up charging us an extra $500 per day on top of the original $600 per day. We have tried to rectify with staff but have been unsuccessful. Buyer be ware. I will never give Hard Rock another dime. I will never send my friends or family there which we have done in the past. The extra $3500 they got from me will multiply to a much larger number in lost future revenue in the future. Poor business choice Hardrock! I will continue to post this in as many places as possible,

I attended the event "wine and food festival". The reception, the place and the event in general were excellent.

We stayed here for our Honeymoon. The Hotel and Staff were Fantastic. The All Inclusive. Really means All inclusive. Everything was so good me and my husband. Kept expecting to get a bill when we checked out… No Bill… just absolutely Fantastic service and Hotel… can't wait for my next visit.

Hard Rock Cancun used to be part of the Palace Premier group of all-inclusive resorts. However, a couple of years ago it became a Hard Rock Hotel. As expected, it now has a rock and roll theme with guitars and memorabilia from famous music entertainers. We found it to be too loud much of the time. The hotel had also declined somewhat in quality and attention to details. There were some bright spots, however. The nightly entertainment was very good. A magic show was Las Vegas quality. There is no added charge for entertainment. If you were so inclined, you could have an electric guitar brought to your room so you could play to your heart's content. If you didn't know how to play, lessons were available on the TV in each room. The rooms were clean and well-appointed. Their infinity pool was great with a fun swim-up bar. The resort is right on the gorgeous ocean with a beautiful sand beach. It is a nice resort with a great location, good food, and fun activities. It just didn't live up to its former quality when it was part of Palace Premier.

Five day stay at the Hard Rock was our first experience with an all-inclusive. Must say, we were very pleased with our stay and would return. First and foremost the staff were all friendly and very helpful. Everyone from the front desk to housekeeping was available to answer questions or fix any issue we might have had. VERY large pool with live music at times and two swim-up bars! All the restaurants were good with the standouts being the Asian and Brazilian. Buffets were just OK but we realize it's not easy to put up a good buffet and keep all the food in tip-top shape. Drinks could have been a little stronger but they were always plentiful and the bartenders would fix them if not to your liking. Booked two off-site tours with the hotel and they were very good. Disappointed with Chichen Itza were you had to run the gauntlet of hawkers both inside and outside the park but that's nothing the hotel can do anything about. The ruins were magnificent! All-in-all a great experience and would recommend the Hard Rock to anyone, but especially to the younger crowd. Lots of music and activities aimed at millennials.

Fun for entire family. Love it so much we have come back 6 years in a row. Staff, accommodations and food are outstanding. Pool and rooms are nice. New location with skate park are why we will be there again this summer.

The suites I love, enough space, nicely decorated with view to the lagoon which is a marvel at sunset, delicious food, drinks throughout the day. Unique experience, without a doubt one of the best resorts of the region.

Excellent hotel! The environment that manages the hotel is not compared with any other of cancun. The food is extraordinary. 5 restaurants, the best! I loved that all the days they have live music with Dj, group live by in the evenings, the service from the staff of the best. I recommend amplianente.

I visited last summer for a wedding. Here is the short and sweet. 1. Don't expect anyone to come and just provide you with any do's and do not's. The staff could care less how much you know about where you are staying and any rules that may apply. Meaning, ask questions! If you're lucky you might get the correct answer after the 3rd person you speak to. It seems as if the staff gets their rocks off that you don't know anything about Mexico or how the hotel runs its programs, events, etc. 2. Don't expect turn down, new towels (they must be on towel shortage), coffee in the room, or help to be at your door in any time under 2 hours. Again, communication here is scarce. So try to be aware. 3. They won't let you take towels with you to off site places. They charge you. Really? At an all inclusive? Again, towel shortage? 4. Food was sub-par. Meh… I've had better. Middle pool was as hot as an iron, why? It's a pool! It's supposed to be somewhat cold. It's hot as hell in Mexico! How can I be hot outside then jump in a bathtub to cool off? 5. Learn the $ to Peso exchange rate! 6. Don't bring anymore than 1 carton of smokes with you passed customs. They will charge you 400% tax on it. Count on it. (Not related to the hotel but had to mention). 7. A gardener acted like he was trimming tree's and did nothing but stare at my wife on the balcony. I have picture proof!

We went last September and had a brilliant time, food was great room service available at all hours of the night including 4am! It's a stones throw to the beach we had a lovely view of the sea from our bedroom. They could do with another bar or have it open later. Have a separate child's pool but all in all I would definitely go back!

Biggest disappointment, the only thing that was 5 star in this hotel was the service. Hotel its self is old and falling apart. Nothing close to the pictures. Food maybe can we considered 3 star. Japaneses restaurant was straight up awful, Italian resistant was horrible. The only two which were ok, were the Brazialian and Mexican. The buffet had the same food, same desserts, every single day. No variety, as well as the appearance looked like a cafeteria. Not enough chairs and umbrellas on the beach, I had to fight for one everyday. Rooms were decent, but very small. Hotel its self has a lot of time share, therefore the clientele were awful. For the price we have paid, which was a lot. I will never go back nor recommend it to anybody. We have been two other 5 star hotels in Cancun and Riviera Maya this did not come even close to the other hotels. By far the worst experience I have went through on vacation.

Awesome vacation spot for a family. So many activities and the best thing was the food. 5 star restaurant quality all inclusive resort. One problem was the pool as heated in the middle of July. The weather was hot and humid and the pool water was also hot. Otherwise everything was excellent.

This is our 6th trip to Mexico, 3rd one to Cancun. I would certainly go back to the Hard Rock. It is unfortunate to hear that some others did not have a good experience. I can only speak of what we encountered. From the front desk, to the activities team, to the housekeeping group, to the restaurant staff, everyone greeted us with a smile. Every request was met in a timely manner. Let's start with my one major negative. I do agree the halls can be a little loud, but the adjoining rooms are far worse. I could literally hear everything in the other room. So, if you are lucky enough to end up beside late night partiers, it will be annoying. I suggested ear plugs. :-) At one point, we used the rollaway bed as a buffer up next to the adjoining door. You are greeted with a smile as soon as your transfer arrives. The bell captain came over and put bracelets on the girls, welcomed all of us and showed us to the front desk. He provided a few helpful hints and talked to us about our return. The front desk staff was super kind. Our room wasn't quite ready, but they went ahead and put bands on everyone so we could start enjoying the amenities. They offer to store your luggage while you are waiting on your room. Only complaint there is that is isn't exactly secure. As a matter of fact, an hour after we left our luggage, I returned and got something out of my bag that was sitting with 50 other suitcases and no one said a word to me. Just be smart, don't leave valuables.

I will say that I would NOT pay money ever again to stay at this resort. This hotel, food and staff it left something to be desired. They were not prepared with any activities during the storm. There was a lot of time spent inside. The cleaning staff was HORRIBLE — after asking them to change the ENTIRE sheets they just turned over the dirty comforter and thought that was acceptable. The food was either bland, flavorless, over done or just gross. The alcohol beverage choices were mediocre at best (didn't even have MEXICAN liquors), the kids club was a joke (kids were unsupervised most of the time I was there with my son), and the staff was rude and unhelpful when we really needed it (needed to file a lost report for my husbands wedding ring and our GoPro — the Concierge just laughed). The facility was out dated and small. There is NO need for a giant Jacuzzi in the middle of the room at a "family" resort. This was one of the WORST vacations we have ever been on and we travel frequently. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

I booked a week in this hotel for my boss and his wife who were celebrating 30 years of marriage and I only had problems that's why, according to the travel agency was one of the best hotels in Cancun, first of all I get my head and changed the room I had booked a suite, platinum and gave him a fourth normal was very small, the window of the room did not close well and the whole night I listened to the wind, had a door that connected it with the other room and EVERYTHING they did in the bedroom next door could be heard, say that there were some people who listened to music and sang all night, my boss said that it is the worst hotel that has gone, and I had a super ragañada riding a booking in hotels of fourth (said by my boss) but that's if, they charged me 60, 000 pesos for the fourth of 3x3, and the service as there was a plethora of complaints, the employees were not able to help load a cell that is not allowed, there was not a beer XX Lager or whiskey when my boss asked for, the total is not possible that a hotel chain like this provide such a bad service.

Today is the last day in the Hard Rock of Cancum, these holidays have been a note very good service and the hotel is very bacano, experience and unforgettable, as we say in Colombia the only danger that you run is wanting to stay.

I went to this resort on 1/13/14 for 7 days. From the moment I got out of the vehicle I was pampered and treated wonderfully! The staff was so friendly and on point. I met a wonderful concierge named Elias who was amazing and was able to arrange (last minute) our ride to the airport. The entertainment was awesome. We did a mojito demo with the event coordinator who's real name I can't remember. I called him caca-nuts the whole time was there because as he mentioned the coco-nut rum he mispronounced it and said cacanut instead, but he was a great sport and rolled right along with it. I'll never forget how much I had at Hard Rock.

Were there 3/2/2013 a very pleasant establishment, there is no such crowd as in other clubs, admission is free. Cocktails cost starts from usd 8. The group played with vocalist okey very like Ricky Martin) ), sang perfectly, didn't want to leave! servicing at an altitude of, all very fast and friendly. On the terrace of the Café there are several tables in the open air, there is arranged a semblance of open ayr) played DJ very progressive music. In short if you go at Cancun, necessarily, will not regret.

It does not compare to the Palace resorts as it was before becoming a Hard Rock. Service is not as good, they should have learned from them. There is a language barrier, also concierge were not able to answer simple questions. The halls are very noisy and if you have an adjoining room you can hear everything that goes on. We spoke to several other couples that were Palace member's that felt the same way. In addition our Ipad was stolen out of our suitcase by a bellboy while he took our bags down to front lobby for transfer to airport. We returned this past Saturday and it has been impossible to get in touch with anyone regarding the stolen item. Would not go back again.
