Personal and service employees are not helpful or gentle with ANYONE. They treat everyone equally bad. FOOD is the worst thing ever happened to me. I stood 6 days on Cancun Downtown eating in the most delicious street restaurants way cheaper than anything on the menu here and I got here for my last two and life was hell cause I’ve got food poisoned with the HORRIBLE buffet. Please DO SOMETHING the Mexican food is totally embarrassing. People do even have to order Dominos Pizza so they don’t have to eat at your horrible restaurant.

The head of reception very rude for an incident by the airline who assigned me only one room instead of two and rudely told me that he will claim the airline I have worked and commanded people in customer service and the first thing you do is try to calm the customer with valid arguments this person was blunt did not take the time to do that the tone of annoying voice on her part very bad attention at the Marriott Cancun.

Taxi service is sucks lost my fly cuzz that
I tried talk to management and she was just ok with it making me feel the fault so was my and no them.
so I has to stay another 14 hours and they refused even givas a voucher for free breakfast.

This is a no frills basic hotel in the middle of nowhere. Good breakfast buffet. Hotel is used by the airport in the case of flight cancellations.
You can expect to see a clean hotel with the Courtyard amenities. They do have a pool, so bring your bathing suit to cool off!

We really enjoyed our stay! Great staff and great food at the restaurant.

Overall a complete disappointment even for only one night. Bedding and furniture were old and had seen better days. No washcloths in the bathroom on two shower towels for free people we asked for more along with washcloths and the brought three more bath towels. Bar drinks were extremely overpriced. I’m the property did not meet the Marriott standards I am accustomed too. The good newspaper I know where NOT to stay on my monthly vibra there.

Amazing gardens and best service out of the Zona Hotelera hotels.

I only got to use their restaurant but from the warmth & friendliness of all the staff I would definitely recommend it & would go back again.

Flight got canceled, stayed at this hotel. Every one is so nice, the staff at the desk was very helpful. Food is delicious and bar staff are awesome.

5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I will definitely make this my hotel of choice whenever I’m in Cancun again. The staff was soooo very helpful even with the language barrier with housekeeping they were still very pleasant. Rafael the restaurant manager and Lizardo our waiter were top notch!

Great location 5 mins from the airport with free shuttle service, very clean room, lovely pool area, excellent food in the restaurant, nice friendly staff.

The staff were very courteous and great at their jobs. The restaurant was excellent and the courtesy bus ran around the clock. A great place to stay before you fly out or fly in.

We did not stay in this hotel however arrived for a tour with a pick up at its location. The receptionist was incredibly helpful and patient with us and helped us call the company multiple times. When it turned out to be a scam he arranged a taxi for us and even gave us a coffee on the house whilst we waited. Excellent and very friendly service.

Great hotel by the airport. Had everything we needed for a one night stay, I would stay again. Free shuttle, good pool, great restaurant. My only complaint against Marriott Courtyards is the two twin beds. For a big family queen size is a minimum.

Laura is the best. She is professional sweet kind knowledgeable and caring. She examplify what customer service is all about. The room is clean everything well done. I would recommend this hotel. I will continue with this brand based on my experiences this far.

Airport transfer free and pick up easy to find, nice and close to airport. Very friendly staff at reception, restaurant and connoisseur, despite our lack of Spanish. Beds comfy rooms nice. Restaurant outside seating in lovely garden setting lots of birds. I would highly recommend.

All said and done. It was pretty good. We had a horrible experience with frontier airlines and we're forced to stay an extra night. They hooked up up here and it was pretty cool. The pool is really nice in the hot sun. The beds are really firm though and if you want a pillow that isn't 2 feet high I would bring your own. But that's part for the course for a lot of hotels. Again, all and all, pretty good place to stay.

Great for those who need a stopover before taking the flight from Cancun at a stone's throw from the airport.

It is the closest option to the airport, with the fairest price and the best services. To start the rooms are impeccable, well maintained, no smells, everything works. The restaurant and bar are very good as well as the breakfast buffet. All the staff is very attentive and smiles without distinction. Finally the entrance and exit are fast and invoice in an agile way. What more do you want?!

Perfect hotel for a night. The bed was comfy, the room was clean. The courtyard and pool are great spots to relax before a long day of travel.

As far as courtyard hotels go, this one is pretty cool. Fruit trees around the pool, hammocks and a great staff. Comfy bed, clean room. The food is equal to an upscale Dennys, otherwise it would get a perfect five stars. For the price it's very nice.

Compared to other Courtyard by Marriott it's disappointing. The rooms are very simple and poorly maintained. Ours had spots on the tapestry of the Chair, had a minibar that barely cooled, the bed was uncomfortable and with little clothes (no extra clothes in the closet). We had to kill an insect in the room.
The shuttle service works well, it is 10 minutes from the airport.

I've stayed here for as long as six straight months and have witnessed the staff deal with all types of guests with the utmost professionalism. The food is really good and it is a popular place for local professionals to meet for lunch through the week. The airport shuttle makes this the perfect place to end your vacation for a stress free early morning departure… or a late night arrival!

There's nothing around this hotel at all but it's one of the closest to the airport which is what we needed. That being said, the staff were totally brilliant and their food was pretty good as well in their restaurant. There's a pool as well for anyone interested but we stayed in our room which was large and comfortable. You might expect that anyway since it matches the price, which is still fine anyway, but the way we were treated and helped to understand the shuttle was really great.

The hotel is very good and the staff is very friendly. Breakfast is very rich, 235 pesos a person, recommended with hotel room rate.

The quality of the buffete declined considerably compared to last year, the fittings are not re-assorted as well as the dishes in general. In addition to the excessive price increase, a few months ago was Super recommended, today I would think twice before returning.

Good for an overnight stay. Very modern and clean hotel. Rooms were spacious but functional rather than comfortable. Definitely more of a business hotel than a vacation hotel. Breakfast buffet was very good, lot of options and reasonably priced. Staff was friendly and efficient. Full sized beds are not that comfortable when you're over 6' tall.

I found a full hotel, spacious and comfortable rooms that have more of the essentials; Free Internet, alarm clock with horn and iPod Connector, Roomservice, pool, green areas; For stays of more than three or four days, breakfast becomes repetitive, yes, very good; The staff is always ready to serve, plus they have a screen that reports upcoming airport flights and pickups that take you to the airport at no cost. Personally, I had an excellent experience, I highly recommend it.

Nice place, very quiet and discreet. The only bad thing is that it is very far from the city and the beach area. But it makes up for the service and facilities.

I only gave them a star because I had to in order to post this. This hotel has a very dishonest staff. On my way to the airport, I realized that I didn't have my phone with me and I knew that I must have left it in the bathroom lobby. I asked the shuttle driver if he could notify the staff and ask them to help look for it and keep it safe until I got back to the hotel. The bus driver did do just that, but he refused to take me back to the hotel, he said, that phone isn't yours anymore. He told me that they looked everywhere even in my hotel room. This was very suspicious to me because I never gave him a room number or a name. He finally agreed to take me back there after I demanded him to. When I got there, I looked all over the lobby and when I asked the people working the front desk they said they didn't know what I was talking about with the most guilty looks on their faces. I also almost missed my flight and I had to sprint across the airport just to make it on time. Also the jacuzzi isn't cleaned regularly, the jets don't work, and the water is much colder than the pool.

Very handy from the airport. Excellent option to wait arrive your date at the final destination of the beach and/or to await your flight the next day. Weak the restaurant and not acceptable cost/service in your breakfasts not included in the hotel service.

I just completed a stay at the Courtyard Cancun. Stay was January 10-11, 2018. Here are my concerns: — no comforter on the bed actually a brown blanket — sheets on bed were extra thin. — no fitted sheet on the bed mattress, a flat sheet was actually used which during the night kept coming off the bed — bed was hard — shower drainage did not work, when showering water raised up to above my ankles — brown stain below the toilet paper holder — two towels had holes, very thin and threads were coming out of the towel. — no tea option in the room. Just coffee. Very dissapointed of this stay specially since I was using a certificate for it. I emailed Marriott customer service and there was no resolution outside of an empty apology a week later my concerned email. Stay away!

For an unplanned one night layover in Cancun I decided to book a room at the Courtyard Cancun Airport as it was close to the airport and offered and airport shuttle. My stay turned out to be very unpleasant for several reasons. It all started with the shuttle service from the airport to the hotel (main reason for choosing this hotel). After calling 4 times and after one hour of waiting, together with other waiting guests, we were told that we should take a taxi and we were ensured that we would get the money reimbursed. When I checked in I handed in the receipt (55USD) for the taxi, but all people present denied any reimbursement. I was ensured that the manager would contact me, which never happened. I had booked my room including breakfast but was told by the restaurant personnel that my booking did not include breakfast. Again, no manager was there that I could talk to and so I ended up paying breakfast.

Great Hotel. New, clean, air conditioning was great. Staff was really nice. Pleasantly surprised.

It is a hotel that is perfect in terms of cost-benefit. I always use it when I come from work. It is close to the airport and it is very quiet. Apart from the bus station that travels to Xcaret it is right behind the hotel in case someone wants to take it into account. The service is good to dry and the breakfast is good too.

Excellent location, has very good facilities, prices could be a bit high but is very close to the airport. The only bad thing is somewhat the food, some things on the menu did not turn out to my liking (sandwiches), but the rest excellent.

Staying overnight. Conveniently located close to the Airport. Free shuttle, just have to be patient and find a way to contact them so they can come and get you. We had to wait close to 20 mins. Beds are comfortable. Restaurant food and service are decent. Pool and jacuzzi have lighting and are surrounded by neatly trimmed landscaping. Feels very peaceful inside, you almost forget you are on the side of a highway.

Excellent service. The waiters are very attentive. The food is very well presented. It's all very clean.

It's a good hotel. Friendly staff and the room is in good condition. They have mini bar fridge, coffee maker. The room has a desk with chair to work as well as an armchair to read or watch television. The hotel is located near Cancun's international airport and has constant transportation to this site.

If you are planning to tour around and get a real sense of the Mayan culture and not just spend your entire time on an all-inclusive deal; then you should make this hotel your base-camp. Located strategically in the middle between Cancun's and Playa del Carmen's resorts zone and at only a few minutes ride away from the airport, Courtyard by Marriott Cancun Airport must be your starting point to start exploring Cancun's greatests treasures! The hot tub was out of order but the food at their restaurant was great! They have a gym which is well equipped and spacious. When I was being checked in at reception the guy I spoke to stopped serving me to answer the phone which I think is rude but he still was friendly and answered all of my questions happily.

Amazing oasis after an international flight. Have stayed here twice now and really rate it. There is even a launderette! Staff are extremely polite and helpful. Food is good, rooms comfortable and the swimming pool and grounds beautiful. You can change money at a reasonable rate and many car hire companies will deliver the car to you here. I'd heartily recommend Easyway.

Convenient to airport (1.5 miles) with free shuttle. Rooms clean & spacious. Restaurant with buffet & a la carte menu. My "garden view" was onto a tarmac area with staff football!

Comfortable beds, close to the airport. It has a shuttle service to the airport. The restaurant is fine, only oriented to an elderly American public, the food is fine although with a notorious lack of salt. The room was very good and the breakfast was very good… it's time to retire your elevator. Out of that all excellent for a great break.

Perfect location, right next to the airport. Beds were comfortable and the staff was really friendly and helpful! It was the perfect place to stay for a night on our way out.

The place is like a hidden oasis. Peaceful. Beautiful courtyard. Very clean. The staff is amazingly friendly. We can't say enough about the restaurant inside. The food was incredible — the service was beyond incredible. Hats off to the chef/cook, the waiters, hostesses — and especially the restaurant Manager who greeted us — checked on us — conversed with us and was the most pleasurable person we dealt with in Cancun. Highly recommend this hotel and restaurant. Courtesy shuttle to airport and very close to airport also. Joelle & David

The staff is always helpful with us. Our flight was cancelled and they had rooms available for us. They have a pool and a laundry room which saved us. They also have a restaurant that offers breakfast lunch and dinner of course for a cost. They have an airport shuttle leaving every 30mins.

Nice clean room, great welcome at check in and almost everyone was really friendly. Only downside were the waiters at dinner who were slow and seemed to not have a good day. The breakfast buffet, especially the omelets, were great and the staff refilled everything before it was empty. Dinner was good but nothing special. Would definitely stay there again for arriving and departing in/from Cancun.

We stayed at this hotel for one night in May, 2017. My wedding ring was stolen by the house keeping staff. According to the hotel staff, they are the only ones who had access to our room so it couldn't have been anyone else. Very heartbreaking. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone who is traveling with valuables. We notified the corporate office and made a report. They "investigated" our claim then notified us a week later that the ring was not found. My husband travels regularly and almost always stays at Marriott hotels. After this devastating incident, he will no longer be a Marriott patron.

Excellent premises, very nice environment, outdoor garden with swimming pool and whirlpool. Good food but buffet with little choice. Convenient from the airport but to what I saw enough out of the way to be able to move on foot.

Good value for a quick stay. Last minute arrangements due to missed flight; we brought our kids and all were overall pleased. Nice quiet pool, grounds are private and well-maintained, good gym with some free weights. Staff was extremely friendly. It's not close to the beach, but you will know this if you check the map. I took off one star as we felt the food was marginal, and a bit pricey given the quality. The breakfast buffet was great, but again not much of a bargain. We tried the a la carte for dinner, and this was our only disappointment. If they could increase the quality of food, it would make it hard not to give this pleasant business traveler-centric hotel a top rating.

The hotel itself was fine. The check-in was swift and the staff is very courteous. My only qualm is with the airport shuttle pickup. Although it's supposed to run every 30 minutes, you may not see a shuttle. Definitely call the number provided to ensure you're picked up. I had to call twice before a shuttle pulled in. I waited well over 45 minutes at the airport. No bueno! At least when I left in the morning I had no issues. I'd stay here again, but I'd call for the shuttle as soon as my plane landed.

The drinks, the food and the service was perfect, I have to go in another time because everything there was beautiful.

Clean and very close to the airport. They have free airport shuttle service for all guests. They also have free Wi-Fi on all hotel areas including in my own room. Service was prompt by front desk attendant Yasmin and even though I arrived well before the check-in time she arranged a clean room for me in a few minutes. Room service was good and prices were competitive. The only downside to me was the TV. The programming was poor and very limited. So you better return to the hotel only when you're absolutely ready to go to bed and sleep.

Very good reception, fast and efficient service, the rooms spotless I did not have any bad experience, and it was my total pleasure there is to come back soon.

Excellent choice and above all near the airport; I suggest renting vehicle to be transfer to the different places in Cancun.

My husband and I went on our honeymoon in Cancun and this is the hotel we stayed at. We had the best time! The staff were so friendly and helpful. Although my only regret is not finding out about the beach club sooner. They give us access to the Omni Resort in the hotel zone which was the highlight of our trip. The beaches there are breath-taking. Next time I'm in Cancun, I am staying here again. Great price, and you get the same beautiful beach as others who pay much more.
