It was a good experience, great place, very clean and everything was so good, the food and the services were very good, but the only thing I didn't like was the wi fi connection, it was too expensive for $13 us per day and the speed connection was so so fair…

Spent five fabulous days! Staff went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. Only complaint is that we had to leave!

I didn’t stay there was only for a Day pass. I really love the Hotel, the employees are amazing. Customer service from reception, bars, restaurants, leisure, spa all of them are doing an amazing g job. The food is delicious, the bars serving amazing coquetéis. You guys smashed it. Well done and I really recommend this place to stay.

The people are lovely, the hotel is a No. Tuck here one night due to a canceled flight. One night is one too many. Food is absolutely disgusting — fish was like mush, lettuce and sprouts rotten and just horrid! The rooms smelled old and musty. No real beach and it's covered in mosquitoes and fleas. It's where the larger tour and party boats launch so water is dirty and smells bad. I watched a guy squeegee the dirty water from the walkways back into the pool. Mold growing in the bathroom. Bugs everywhere! Got my own drinks at dinner while some were served, some weren't. I truly can't find one thing positive about this place. I can hear my neighbors showering and using the restroom. It is horrific! The videos are lies! I would be furious if I saw the marketing, booked it and got this trash. I feel like the other reviewers were not at the same hotel or have extremely low standards.

We have just got back from our 3rd visit to the occidental Costa Cancun and it was just as amazing as the first time. Excellent service, excellent food, lovely clean hotel and rooms. We got married this time on the fabulous white sandy beach and it was the best day of my life. Can't wait to come back for our 4th visit!

Service is great at the restaurants and poolside, food is better than average, entertainment was really nice every night, nice size pool, nice and clean beach and being a small size resort everything was easily accessible! Local buses are easily accessible near the resort and a good amount of local things to do near the resort (averages 15-20min bus ride). Several downsides include no poolbar or at least they should install seats inside the pool for people to sit and enjoy their drinks poolside and also the bar by the main building should have music (new/recent hits music in particular) playing at the bar, and longer bar hours. Other than that I would still go back to this resort and would highly recommend it to friends and family. Also, its 15-20min from airport and wheelchair friendly!

Super friendly staff. My stay was absolutely wonderful. Salma & Fernanda who handled entertainment were such a pleasure to be around. They had activities all day long. Francisco, server at the seafood restaurant (which was really good) was very nice. Didn't get the names from the guys at the buffet but they were also friendly and attentive. The Italian restaurant was pretty good as well. Beach was clean at all times & from what I heard from other people I met at an excursion & from visiting another resort myself they're beaches were full of seaweed so good job in keeping yours at Occidental Costa clean guys. Its family friendly. I recommend this resort and would stay here again without a doubt.

We had a great time. The staff was friendly and service was excellent. The seafood restaurant was phenomenal and I would recommend the grilled seafood entree. Authentic Mexican restaurant was spicy, but I was in Mexico not in the States. We felt the resort went out of their way to be helpful.

I was a good weekend of this summer at this hotel, and it exceeded my expectations, and above all the quality price benefit, left me to my and my wife very satisfied. Many want more, but don't want to pay much, This hotel seemed to me to have the best in service to others of the same chain. And it is that by being smaller it is more friendly, less sections that walk, but with a spectacular free-form pool, an ocean view in a very active traffic of boats, and an effort is praiseworthy to keep the front of the beach without so much seaweed. It is the first all inclusive that I will, that despite the fact that Saturday was packed, I didn't have to stand in line to order a drink, and if I'm sitting in the bar, better with glasses, great little gift. It has a very nice spa, four great restaurants, and proximity to places of interest or attractions in the area. My advice to those who complain, haganse system partners frequent guests of Barceló, to my gave me a superior room, more time to check out, a discount in the store, free Wi-Fi, though it should be for everyone. Etc gladly I would repeat this hotel now including my entire family. Thanks.

Loved it! All the staff was really kind. There are shows every day, and piano music. The beach is small, but with clean, amazing water. There's a bar and one of the restaurants in front of the sea. Excellent food, wide variety.

I wish I could give this place zero stars but it’s not an option. We booked for one night on our way out of Mexico to be closer to the airport for our flight the next day. We arrived at 10am and were told that all the restaurants were booked for that night and that we should’ve come earlier to make a reservation which would have been impossible. Basically, their response was shrugged shoulders and an “oh well. ” And this response was from the supervisor on duty! Not one apology was issued. Not once did they try to compensate us in any way. So we ended up eating the exact same food for our breakfast, lunch, and dinner from the buffet. They didn’t change the menu at all between lunch and dinner. Somehow they made the food to taste even worse than it looked. I’ve stayed at probably 15 all-inclusive over the 20+ countries I’ve been to and I understand it’s typically quantity over quality and I’m okay with that, but this was just plain disgusting. Do not stay here.

Good evening, I was with my wife and my eldest daughter at the hotel, we found it very clean, ample room, we liked very much the attention of the staff, in particular Ms. Claudia (Caretaker), Carolina (Reception), Nolberto, Luis (Restaurants), also the guys from the cocktails very good. I suggest to intensify the cleaning of seaweed on the beach, as these become a bit awkward when swimming, play activities, very varied and excellent, I suggest to improve the seats in the a la carte restaurants for which there is more inclusion in them and not have to get up early both to book, in terms of the wi fi, I suggest is free because it is very helpful for guests, especially for those of us who are foreigners, a final recommendation and provide comfort to couples and ubiquenlas always in a bed of at least 1, 40 mts, since we touched one of 1, 20 meters and was quite uncomfortable, I think back, a hug, and thank you for allowing this space. Ahhh you forget to warn you, the beach is very appropriate for children, older adults, and people who do not know how to swim, it is very gentle, resembling a lake, a hug and chaoo.

Had an absolutely great time here the only criticism I have is about the food some of the chicken we had was a little questionable as to whether it was fully cooked. However room was lovely and spacious with a massive bed and good air con. The staff are fantastic especially Lucio and Henry at the bar and Cesar in the buffet restaurant they are a credit to your hotel! Great to have a beach on the door step.

The attention of the staff was wonderful, except for a waitress who was slow to bring the things or never brought them. Very good cleanliness and room without any observations.
The bad thing is that they do not offer internet service, and it is very very very expensive and of poor quality. Unlike other hotel chains. Another is the ridiculous way to book the entrance to the 3 restaurants, before 9am there is no place anymore, it is not possible because they looked empty. Hopefully they will fix that because it really is ridiculous!
They already go twice that I am in this hotel and I would return without any problem.

Mixed feelings really… The price was really cheap, the room was actually fine for that price — spacious, bright and clean. But it was only made available at 3pm sharp, and that's considering hotel checkout is at 11am — surely they can turn them around quicker. The buffet was actually allright — a bit of a queue but not bad, food is fine, service is good especially after tip. But the cocktails are just rubbish (how do they even manage to make them so bad? and they ran out of straws — seriously like? ) and the beach is practically non-existent. So, as I said, mixed feelings.

Stayed May 16-21, 2018. Beach bar was great that’s who got the 1 star! Was told before booking (directly with hotel) that I would be able to check in early since my flight arrived at 9:55 whould be at hotel by 10:30/11:00. Got there and that wasn’t the case at all. After waiting 2 hours went to see if room was ready was told no. While I was there another couple arrived whose room also wasn’t ready, then they start yelling a bit and was “upgraded free” to the same type of room I was waiting for and it was mysteriously ready for them 2 hours ahead of check in. I then offered to pay to check into my room early, nothing! Finally get in my room and there was throw up all over my hammock! Blow dryer didn’t work, sheets weren’t changed 1 time even when asked (I put a sticker on the sheet to be sure). Lobby bar staff was rude. Go Elsewhere Don’t Stay Here!

Has been an absolutely wonderful experience. Rooms were clean and very nice. Hotel grounds are kept up. Restaurants have a great selection for even the pickiest of eaters like myself. Hot water when you shower. At least 5 restaurants. Some require reservations. There are ongoing activities held by the hotel such as Bingo, a Michael Jackson show, vendors, etc. I would definitely stay here again!

Excellent Hotel All Inclusive in Cancun's Hotel zone. Very good. Quality of meals in the 3 times. The. Beach Area me. Liked it a lot, gave me the. Feeling of being in a paradise despite no. Be very big, but it was pretty nice. And comfortable, with an exceptional view. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

I've been to Cancun 10 times and this was the worst place I've ever stayed. The resort is small and the"beach" is a warm ripped off man made beach next to a Marina. It stinks all the time and the water is black besides the small patch they have cleared. The food is the worst I've ever had at a "resort". The staff is sub par for the resort style of service. The pictures show are false advertising. It's a pretty hotel but not a true resort by the standards of any resort in Cancun.

The hotel is decent… Normal rooms… Good Mexican Restaurant… The sea in the hotel area is not much. But you can walk a little to the right in the direction of Rio and there everything is wonderful. There are no waves. The Food for 4 stars is normal… The service is good… Better of course club rooms. Club piece beach and Club privilege… But it is an amateur. Who's used to it.

Great holiday! What struck me was the welcome, the good mood of the staff. Also, the music that plays is as much Billy Joel, Neil Daimond as more recent songs and there are musicians every night at the Lobby. The music is not too loud
The beach is small, very clean but you can still take a good walk.
Thank you to bartender Leonardo Vasquez Blez for his service, smile and professionalism as well as his colleagues. Thanks to the animation, Brandon and Daniel made sure we were not bored but we don't feel any pressure from the hosts to participate. Thanks to the Buffet Gang, Elias (the captain), Deisy (hostess) welcomed us, the waiters, Yesenia, Alfredo, Job and Pepe make sure that we don't miss anything and always with a smile.
A perfect vacation for me.

The beach is quiet and very nice. The hotel facilities are very good. Fun recreation activities with Serena and Shyla and the very complete buffets with varied options. We would definitely go back with the whole family.

The hotel is very well located and with everything you need, the only downside is that the restaurants are guys, and sometimes you have to wait to get in to breakfast or eat. For dinner there are other options, but you have to book and have little availability.
I went with my dad, who needs a wheelchair, and the biggest problem was the bathrooms, as neither in the room nor in common areas were adapted for handicapped people.

Excellent service. Many activities. Friendly and helpful staff. Functional facilities.

Great Vacation. Here celebrating our 8yr Anniversary and a very special Birthday. Very nice atmosphere and extremely nice resort staff. This has been one if our best trips that we've had. Thank you for having us.

Very good service, the attention was the best. The food is spectacular. Without words the truth. It was all very good.

Staff and property was amazing. Great bar tenders and entertainment staff. The beach was small but it was all you needed. The only thing I wouldn't write home about was the food. The restaurants are too small for the guests so reservations fill up way too quickly. The buffet leaves much to be desired. I'd give the food a 5 out of 10 but the rest if the resort gets a 9 out of 10.

We had so many issues with this hotel with the exception of the food. Food was amazing however having to make same day dinner reservations was ridiculous. Our sliding door on the patio did not lock. There was a one inch gap in the front door when the door was closed that had a major draft in the room. Our refrigerator did not work. We did not receive replacement towels or bottled water like we were told upon check in. The only beer in the hotel was Corona or Corona Lite which were not cold. In addition, upon check in we were immediately signed up for a vacation travel club presentation. We wanted to be relaxed on vacation. This hotel gave us nothing but frustration. I woukd never return nor do I recommend this Super 8 equivalent of a hotel to anyone.

If you are looking for a really loud and noisy hotel with lots of really drunken people around this is the place to be. Not only is the music and the animation way too loud, so are the guests. The air-con in the room is very loud, as well as the ventilation in the bathroom. Even the minibar makes a loud noise so that you might need ear plugs. Beach is very small. The rooms are simple and without any love for details. Food is OK, service is friendly.

Leaving here today. It will be missed. Great food and drinks. Very clean. Beach is great. Workers are awesome. Felipe is the hardest worker at the resort. He went above and beyond. I definitely will be back again soon. Thank you for a great time and thank you for Felipe going above and beyond the call of duty.

It is a hotel that is located at Km. 3.5 Cancun Hotel Zone Quintana Roo. Coming from the city and 25 km from the airport.
There are two ways to get there by the center of the city and giving all the tour to the hotel area, in time from 25 to 35 minutes and from 20 to 25 minutes airport — Hotel This hotel has four restaurants of which two are one Italian specialties and the other International also has a Snack bar, all good rooms well, service well the only one I did not like is that it has a very small beach if possible very tiny but you have the obsession of going to other public beaches the pool is OK and the food in general very Rica is recommended that's the only detail your beach.

With 4 stars to qualify their stars they have, it's a fairly good hotel, an all inclusive but very small. The service of the staff is very friendly and attentive as well as the food. I really was looking forward to more, the kids pool is even smaller. I think I need that.

Beautiful place. Very elegant has spa and gym. It is an all inclusive hotel, the food is amazing and there are many delicious drinks. All rooms have an amazing view of the pool and the turquoise sea. Totally recommended.

Package is replenished daily with beer, Pepsi, Water, … The whole resort was beautiful, the beach was small but very clean and the beds were large enough. Decent place with great qualities, and room to improve. Rooms are spacious and bathrooms too. That said, the rooms lack bureau storage and luggage racks. Daily replenishment of in-room refrigerators is nice. The property is beautiful and the cool, sparking pools very nice. The on-site buffet is decent, not the best but by no means bad; note the made-to-order and freshly prepared entrees (such as the pizza, noodle bar) are tasty. The nighttime entertainment (when we were there) was terrific. The beach area is rather small and cramped during peak hours. In my opinion, the property would do well to improve security and specialty restaurants. These comments were all shared with management on their online guest survey.

Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… We bring our family to here for the whole week we felt amazing the food the beach is very nice. Although we are in Mexico the workers all know how to speak English. On the last day f our trip we lost a phone on a taxi, at first the driver didn't admit that he had the phone but because of the manager and the person that calls the taxi, they communicated with the driver. Thanks to them and many other people the driver gave back my phone. We give special thanks to the security guard and the doorman and the manager or else I wouldn't have my phone back.

Good resort/ hotel, even if it a bit small. They take care of you while you're there. However, the food is only okay, and the reservations are annoying to deal with. The beach is kind of dirty, but the pool was amazing. It is on the far end of the hotel zone, but since we didn't really go out for our 2 days there, it didn't really matter. The deal was great though.

It's the Ssgunda time we stayed at this hotel.

Excellent place. We just never found reservation at rest. The Mexican I found very bad that and could not add a chair for one more person to attend I think you could resorver.

Everything was great! Food and service fantastic. Just the guards at the entrance are quite rude. I'm mexican and I have tattoos all over my arms. These guys were following me around and ask me if I was selling stuff and then told me not to sit on the benches at the lobby. You should train those guys better.

In the room the safe was not working. They switched Me to another that the air was on full and could not be regulated. I was with my mother of 80 years, the solution was: 2 blankets!.
In the hallways there were guests who stirred their suitcases, rearranging the bottles of tequila they had bought. They should not allow such a disarray and should check that everything works RM the rooms, before the guest stays.
I definitely wouldn't come back. I trust that now being BARCELO, would be a good hotel and I'm mistaken malll. The good part: I only stay 2 days in the hotelll.

I have been here for the last 3 days and I love it! Customer service is excellent. Food is good. It's on the beach, nice pool, room is perfect. They have entertainment but if you want quiet time, you can get that too. Location and rate are perfect for me. I will be back!

Hotel stands out for the good service. Food is plentiful but not gourmet. Very small Beach. Drinks prepared very quickly without care and have no natural lemons.

We did a girls trip for 4 Days. The all inclusive was absolutely the best way to go! All of the food in the buffet is amazing! Making dinner reservations for the other restaurants should be done early in the morning. They fill up very fast and during the off season, only one restaurant is open at night. The claraboya is more of an Asian seafood fusion restaurant, not just seafood as it’s told to you by the lobby desk. Can not wait to go back for our annual girls trip!

Comfortable even though they have neglected details in the rooms. At cost benefit is good. All inclusive system, lunch, dinner and breakfast buffet. Beach at the foot of the hotel and a large swimming pool open until 22:00.

If you have ever experienced a 4 or 5 star resort, this resort is not for you. This is an older all-inclusive resort that struggles to offer more than average service and barely editable food. I was here a few days ago. Me and my family really enjoyed this hotel. The buffet had the best food in my opinion the alcohol was alright. It was very clean and very well organized. The workers around the hotel were super friendly and always made sure you were taken care of. It had night shows and had a daycare which was very convenient for kids. The only reason I give it a 4 was because the front desk people need to improve their service a bit and also the spa area was a bit small for people to sit in the Jacuzzi, the beach was nice but a bit small but their are plenty of other public beaches you can take a taxi or bus to. Be careful with the taxi drivers. I had one taxi driver drive me up to the night life for 7 dollars one way (10 minute drive) while another taxi driver charged me $10 dollars one way just to go up the street to the Starbucks literally a 1 minute drive I could see the Starbucks from my hotel. Ask before you enter and always negotiate! Bus stops are close by and I would recommend if you don't have children. Over all I would come back to this hotel. Loved my experience here.

My wife and I have stayed here 3 times this year. The place is great but even better are the people and service. Food is good and they have a great selection for everyone. Bartenders, waiters and waitresses are exceptional and always have a smile on their face. They have activities at the pool and beach which Brandon makes so much fun, you can't resist getting involved or just watching. Volleyball in the pool is a great time, you meet so many people from different places around the world. My wife and I are the type to just lay around and relax. I hear the excursions are good, but I find everything we need right at the resort. My wife loves their spa, she says they treat you so well. The view from the rooms are very nice, we recommend the ocean front room, so cool to be so close to beach. Their is a dinner option that is extra, but what a great time. We had steak and lobster at the gazebo by the pool for my wife's birthday. You can have it on the beach as well. The beach area is small compared to other resort's but that is only because of location. We have built a relationship with most of the workers there because of their friendliness. Just remember to tip your servers, you would be shocked how many don't and then wonder why some servers aren't as attentive.

The service was amazing and the staff went above and beyond to make my birthday special. They are super friendly and always make sure if you need anything they will provide. The resort gave us access to many excursions and they walked us through the process of transportation whenever we went off site. I highly recommend staying here and you truly get as much food and drinks as you want!

This resort is very basic. When we first pulled up, I thought we made a mistake. The exterior isn't very inviting or nice looking. We drove past many hotels on our way to the Occidental, and those hotels were beautiful, impressive and modern! After seeing all those hotels and pulling up to the Occidental… it was disappointing. No curb appeal. Although, our first impression was negative the lobby and the overall resort is very nice. The lobby restrooms are the best. The rooms smell weird like mold. They provide daily sodas, waters, and Corona in the refrigerator, in every room. The food at the hotel is not very good. The Mexican restaurant provides the best food. You have to make a reservation for all the restaurants except the buffet, which gets overly crowded with no room and you have to wait… a long time. The beach isn't very good neither! Its very small and the current pushes you the entire time you are in the water, making it an uncomfortable experience. I wouldn't recommend this resort because it is basic. If you're looking for a n exceptional or good resort in Cancun keep on searching!

For 4.5 stars I was disappointed if you do not leave a tip to the maid your bed is doing but no more… The music D elevator until 2h after noon and starts again at 10am in the evening not the big party the beach is mini but clean the balconies its mini but I got a big one by chance and you have to get up early to book your restaurant for the evening and again the next day because there does not take reservations for the other day.

I loved this place… everything was great I recommend it.

My wife and I just left there today after staying 7 days and I have to say it was the worst experience I have ever had at one of these resorts the food was awful and have not been for a store right down the road to buy snacks at we would have starved the main restaurant u can't set and eat cause of the smell our room was OK except the balcony it was just big enough to stand on with ur back touching the sliding door and ur knees hitting the other part I wouldn't go back there and if ur wanting to walk down a beach this place isn't for u no beach to walk down and the water is in a back lagoon and it's trashy I would definitely think twice before booking here.

Barcelo Costa is the definition of hotel professionalism. If there are better places to stay, you won't care. They take of their patrons and really try to show you a good time in Cancun. 10/10, would visit again.

Hotel is clean. Rooms are more than adequate. Pool is large and nice. Beach is on the smaller size but has plenty of chairs. Food is a 5/10 at best. Overall I would stay at this hotel again if the price was right in my budget.

Exceptional food, drinks, animator Eric and the girl who usually it accompanies always concerned x guests passing it as best as possible. Nice beach though not very large, counting with the comfort of the chairs and towels always available. Very enjoyable shows. The only thing I would do to improve the service is the cleaning of the rooms. The staff always ready to solve problems. Another thing that is essential today is to have Wi-Fi albeit a few hours a day. It is distressing when one fails to communicate with their loved ones and know that is all good.

Most of the staff is very attentive. Dining options are varied in style and quality. Eastern menu dinner is very good. The beach is small and with a nice shade of Palm trees.

It was a very good night, rooms are very spacious and clean, the all inclusive does not leave to be desired, the beach although small is ideal for large people and children, shows very good and of truth, food is more than I expected… Excellent work of virtually everyone on the staff of the hotel.
If there is something to recommend it is that bar people address with taste that are working because they serve with pouting and until you want to, there is no answer and do not intend to earn a gratuity.

The Barcelo Costa Cancun is small but has everything that you need. The resort is clean. The food was good and had a nice variety. We stayed for 4 days and had a great time.

You arrive and leave you bags aside, attention from whom you received is wrong, would have q improve a lot! Rooms already out of fashion would have q recycling, and overall the hotel is very nice hurts those who are at the forefront of the same.

Very bad attitude of the staff towards customers is looked indifferent, not treat you with respect, his work make it halfway and look for any excuse to do the least work possible, in my departure put my suitcase onto a truck and before you get told that the truck was full that I raise in the other and I worried about my suitcase ask to me down if and I ascended to the truck where it was and by his haste and not wanting to move suitcases told me that not all arrived there, arriving at the airport were left some suitcases pulled the street and others taken away, lost my suitcase and I was ready to lose the
flight.

My wife and I stayed here for a few nights and overall the experience was good. We did the all inclusive package, and it was very nice. However, the all inclusive package does not include Wi-Fi. You must purchase that in addition. What you purchase is a single instance of connection. So my wife and I could not be using the Wi-Fi at the same time without purchasing another instance. The Wi-Fi was extremely slow also. Besides that our stay was very good. It was a lot less crowded than other resorts which gave us a more personal feel. The food was good, but nothing to write home about, but everyone that works there is extremely nice and helpful.

The hotel was great, great Beach calm blue water. Clean room, good food, good service.

The hotel staff was excellent and they were all friendly. The hotel itself was okay at best. The facility was older and had lots of wear and tear which was noticeable. The drinks were good and service was quick. The restaurants had an okay selection but the food was not the best. The hotel beach was small but nice and was very close to the rooms. Overall the experience was okay but not worth the cost unless you got a great deal.

Very good and quiet, the q did not like q the Wi-Fi is paid to the part, and the show really bad… otherwise excellent and the people who treats you very friendly.

Not what I expected, beach is very small. I had to wait about 3 days to upgrade my room. Even though this is an all inclusive resort, doesn't mean it's all inclusive. We had to pay for Wi-Fi. I have been to Barcelo resort in Rivera Maya and that's one of the reason why this resort was chosen. What a disappointment. Never again.

Excellent relationship price / quality, the food is the necessary for the stay, if you require any special food or drink are at an extra cost. The hotel has the correct dimension, and are all close to the pool, beach, bar, restaurants. The shows should improve a bit, which is very good is the show mexican. The habitacionas are quite comfortable and modern, with view to the pool or the sea. In summary, it is a very good hotel for all inclusive at a reasonable price.

By far this was my worst experience at a hotel. Upon our arrival we had to wait 4 hours for our rooms to be ready. We were a party of 7 waiting for 3 adjoining rooms with balconies. After the 4 hours we were told only 1 room was available. The room was dirty and had no balcony. We met with the staff several times to get better rooms but to no avail. The staff was rude and completely dismissive. I have never felt so disrespected by customer service/hospitality staff in my entire life. Had it not been for the fact that it was 7 of us traveling I would have canceled my room and went somewhere else. This place does not deserve to collect the funds of hard working people. I do not recommend that anyone come to this hotel. They do not value their customers and the staff needs hospitality and etiquette training. Horrible rooms and even worse staff.

I would not recommend at all. Have stayed in better and cheaper places in Cancun. If you don't want to read all my misfortunes about the hotel, I'll cut it short first. Front Desk staff is as rude as can be, the hotel looks nothing like it does in its pictures, very disorganized, no communication. The bartenders were the only ones who were friendly and energetic that made this hotel have the two stars I gave it. Our family stayed July 13 — July 19 2015. Our flight on our way to Cancun our flight got cancelled due to maintenance, we called the hotel to let them know we wouldn't make it there until a day late, because we didnt there to be any cancellations to the rooms we already booked and we had a cab directly from the hotel picking us up (included in what we booked). July 13 after delayed flights we arrived to the airport and headed to the hotel pick ups, the hotel hadn't sent anyone out to pick us up. We take another cab to the hotel. We arrive to the hotel to check in, our room reservations had been cancelled, when the night before they confirmed nothing would be cancelled due to our flights cancellations and delays. After the rude staff at front desk was able to figure out what went wrong, they gave us two keys for our rooms. We get to our rooms, the keys wouldn't open our room doors, after 30 minutes of getting the fronts staffs attention and trying with multiple keys, they gave us another room.

I stayed at the Barcelo for a week in March this last year, thinking that just like any other 4-star Hotel by the beach it would make a pleasant trip. However I have to say I have never stayed in a hotel with such appalling room conditions and lack of respect from the general staff, especially the managers, and warn anyone from staying there. We were forced to switch rooms for lack of functioning air conditioning and cleaning and spent most of our time trying to get a hold of someone from the managerial staff who did their best to avoid confronting us over the room until the very end of our trip. Despite the gorgeous beaches and amazing nature parks, this hotel definitely ruined part of our trip.

Me encato Hotel and all its amenities, especially the staff is very attentive, they have an excellent culture of customer care. About the restaurant Albatros delicious meal except breakfast. My COMPLIMENTS TO THE WAITER, ROGER VIDAL, generous, kind and cordial attention. Clear that come back to go to Barcelo and its string. Thank you.
