The rooms are very good.

Gr8 value thru expedia. Helpful staff, english proficient, excellent value resto attached, delicious food with lots of variety and they played the WC footie games. Central location in the more upscale part of Centro, so far as I could tell, safe, pretty courtyard, excellent coffee joint across the street. I would return. Posted prices at desk are really high, I dont understand that bit.

They are very close to Santo Domingo church (about 2 blocks) which is very nice and the women at the registration were very helpful. It does seem however that it is cheaper to book a room on Expedia or another traveling website then to arrive at the hotel and book it manually.

Comfortable hotel and well located. Some details fail (the shower is not very good), but overall it is very good. The bed was very comfortable.

Good hotel in a nice location — not super central, but a nice 5m walk to the cathedral and camino turistico, but quiet still. The lady at the reception in the morning is extremely welcoming and helpful, and the restaurant is fantastic value as well.

The parking lot has a service schedule, if you happen to be late you will have to leave the car in the street. The staff care little and are not interested in solving problems.

The restaurant in the hotel is the best value for money of any restaurant we've eaten at in Oaxaca. I think the restaurant name is el Pipe. Chef is superb and the food is gourmet at unbelievable prices. Had pesto chicken and the ceviche for our lunches today. So good!

It's a picturesque place, very quiet, no annoying noises. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is very good.

One of the best places in Oaxaca to rest, the staff is wonderful and the restaurant is amazing, such a great food. 100% recommended.

Located 3 blocks from the Santo Domingo. A short walk away from the Zocalo. The rooms have the basic amenities. It did not have a mini fridge and heaters. The rooms are kept clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant attached with a limited menu however the wait staff is very accommodating. Overall you get what you pay for.

Lovely place with friendly and helpful stuff. I had trouble ordering breakfast on the first day. The next day the kitchen stuff knew my order and I didn't have to worry. Had a good week here. It's close to the centre but quiet. It's a 3 min to Templo de Santo Domingo. I felt save walking around on my own all the time.

I stayed 8 nights, so for that long, I would not give it much more. This place would be best for a short stay. I booked on Orbitz and was given room 108 with dodgy AC. The Wifi worked for me and there was good water pressure and hot water. The bathroom was well lit with big mirror and a safe. The bed was OK, not bad, but a firm new mattress and old box spring. What bothered me the were bug bites and smoking in the open air atrium — rooms aren't well sealed. Breakfast didn't have great coffee, I brought my own coffee and tea, but the restaurant only provided tepid water. Location was good with a corner store and coffee shop. It's on a busy street, but the noise isn't a big issue. This place seems to be popular with nice families.

5 star rating, not because it is a 5 star hotel. It is a great hotel for the price. Historic but functional. Clean facilities. Great staff and awesome breakfast. Parking is free, but it is two blocks away and it is a hassle. Edit,. Downgraded to two stars. Everything was OK until a tour bus came in on the 3rd day of our stay. The charming Central Courtyard became a loud place full of inconsiderate people yelling, screaming and laughing out loud. Impossible to stay there with the family, with many of the new arrivals smoking. It is now close to midnight and the loud noises are still going. Wife, kids and I are tired but cannot sleep.

Nice place but we had a room with no main light. So at night it was not very pleasant. I don't know if they are all like this one 110. The breakfast is good. Close to anything in the center and on the good side for the ADO terminal de bus.

Simple but very nice. Room was spacious and had a nice little 'balcony', though it was walled off. They provide bathrobes! Excellent location. Friendly staff despite language barrier. There's a corner store and cafe right across the street. Did not try the restaurant or bar. Breakfast wasn't anything special, and I didn't see the trays out at all on my second morning. My shower door (202) did not close properly so I had to stuff the gap with a towel to avoid a pool of water in the rest of the bathroom.
