What a lovely experience we had. Fransisco is an absolute legend and deserves a raise. Nothing was too hard for Fransisco he was available to help 24/7 or seemed like that anyway. With water and electrolytes for our sick friend even bought tea to our room. If your looking for a nice hotel in Oaxaca look no further. We were talking to a man on a tour and he said that this hotel was $20USD more a night. But so much nicer. Very happy with the room and the service.

Wow! Amazing stay. The staff is a perfect example of outstanding customer service. They made sure we had the perfect Oaxaca experience! From having a cup of coffee for wife every morning, giving us cold bottles of water thru out the whole day. Setting up a tour to Monte Alban on one day and getting a private personal diver to take us on some amazing adventures on the other days of our stay. Always having warm hello and goodbye for day. The hotel has some beautiful artwork. Our room was the perfect size and was seamlessly cleaned every day by the maid service. This will always be our place to stay. Thank you for making our time in Oaxaca priceless!

The only reason why I’m rating this hotel with five stars is because they wouldn’t allow me to rate it higher. I had the pleasure to stay in this marvellous hotel when passing through Oaxaca. This hotel is conveniently located a few blocks away from the “Centro” of Oaxaca, which makes it comfortably accessible to walk everywhere in that area. The whole property is extremely beautiful. The decoration as well. The decoration throughout the property although minimal was filled enough with traditional Mexican artefacts and hints of the culture. Our room was beautiful and cozy, minimalistic and yet inviting. But the service of the staff and their warmth it’s what takes the whole experience to a next level. I stayed here with my husband, my father and my sister. Every time we would come back from exploring they’d welcome us with a smile and offering us something to drink. In fact they even offered us mezcal also and other few local treats. Wet towels to cool down, basically anything. I fully recommend.

Los cuartos y el personal están excelente. El agua caliente sale mucho en salir y en los cuartos, si hay mucha gente en el patio es algo ruidoso. Fuera de eso todo está excelente.

Beautiful place on a great street, a great spot to get to know the area from. Staff were friendly and helpful.

On our trip around the World we spent five beautiful days here and enjoyed every hour of our stay. All rooms look out onto the beautiful courtyard and the garden — this makes it very quiet. At breakfast one sits in the shade of grapefruit and mango trees and the great staff spoils the guests with lovingly prepared, delicious and healthy food. NanaVida has outstanding employees — an exceptionally charming team providing excellent service! The check-in was very welcoming — my daughter got a lovely present, then we got a big choice of handmade soap for our stay and were accompanied to our room. The rooms and the whole area are decorated with artwork from the Oaxaca region — a very stylish and unique design! Very inspiring! The owner Gladys supports the artist community in the Oaxaca region and buys artwork for NanaVida by local masters. We were very lucky to meet Gladys herself and her great family — admirable people, and NanaVida is a beautiful and very welcoming home in Oaxaca!

An unbeatable attention departing from all the staff very friendly, very nice empaths with their guests, excellent location very parents facilities a pleasure to be able to recommend… And of course come back…

Beautiful hotel with very friendly and attentive staff, there are a lot of nice details to make your stay a smooth experience. Rooms on the second story are the way to go. Mattresses on the beds could be better though.

Staff is super friendly, rooms are cozy, walking distance to main square is 10 min. Airport is located about 30 minutes away, it does get a bit noisy, but earplugs are provided. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The hotel is simple but safe. The breakfast is a traditional Mexican breakfast so it was very unusual for me, but it was delicious. Traffic is crazy around here and as a result it was hard to get to the hotel. Nana vida is in a nice location for it is only less than ten minutes walk to the main square. It is very noisy across the street and I barely got any sleep, but if you can use ear plugs and survive the noise it's definitely a place to go.

I will definitely stay here again next time I visit, the staff and management made us feel like family during our stay! Some rooms are newly remodeled even the rooms that aren't remodeled are nice, beds are comfortable. Great location, ask for Malintzindestinations for guides around town.

Without any doubt, the best place to stay in Oaxaca. Best location, service and convenience. The friendly staff and the owners, Gladys and Héctor, will make you feel at home. Spent 4 days in Oaxaca with my family and we all agree that staying at Nana Vida was the best experience and a highlight of our trip.
