This place was amazing! The food was really good and amazing room service. Will definitely go back!

It's a nice hotel with great food downstairs, about 5 blocks from the tour attractors. Clean but my room kept having a foul smell coming from the sewers perhaps due to the rain so we had to make sure to seal them with the ones they include. Gym and pool at the terrace level… No bars around, only late taquerias open and not much else open past 6-8pm. I wouldn't recommend walking around past 11pm here, too sketchy looking. Great restaurant nearby called la chata which I wrote a review on 3 blocks up. Other than that that's about it, recommended.

Excellent, it is the best you can find in the historic center of GDL, with great service, location and price benefit, my family and I spent 8 great nights there, the facilities very good and clean always, breakfast every day very good and varied; all the staff was 10 but if you have to highlight the 2 hosts who are in the restaurant in the mornings, they far exceed the 10 in service and above all human warmth, they make you the day always. Congratulations. I highly recommend it and hope to return soon.

Good I think an excellent hotel and very old was that for a while was closed but remodeled and was very nice. It got a little complicated coming through the streets that are closed for repairs. I mean nothing architectural gem. I really enjoyed the hotel and received very good attention. I did not know the rooms as I attended an event but it has 100 rooms. I liked it a lot.

I cannot say enough amazing things about this place. The staff is excellent, the food is incredible and the concierge service is one of a kind. The very day we got there they were able to accommodate a cab to take us to Tlaquepaque. For less than 10 dollars an hour he drove us around anywhere we wanted to go. The next day we went on the lago tour which was very affordable and so great, this tour is offered by the hotel! The location is perfect! Do not hesitate and book now!

Amazing hotel! Staff super friendly and helpful, very delicious breakfast and we enjoyed the pianist during breakfast time. Beautiful and clean pool. Location is excellent, at the historic center and close to everything. I highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful experience | highly recommend. The hotel has great old world charm that was extremely clean and well maintained. Also, the hotel is located Rooms appear to be recently renovated with a modern flair and extremely functional. Bathroom is very well done with marble and shower is very spacious. Staff are friendly, accommodating and helpful with a strong understanding of English. Last but not least, a great feature the hotel offers is valet parking.

My wife and I stayed there 19/22 Feb, 2018. Great historic hotel in excellent location in central Guadalajara. It has been tastefully brought up to modern standards throughout. Room was spotless everywhere and comfortable bed with quality bedding/towels were terrific with excellent shower. We loved the hotel and everything about it. Breakfast buffet was excellent and we chose that option with our room rate. All staff very kind, courteous and attentive. In room safe was great to have but keying in the correct combination was a bit finicky and the main elevator was out for short periods. Neither of these minor things blemished our stay.

Love this place, great ambience, nice breakfast buffet, good gym and pool. Generous rooms with rainfall shower in bathroom. Evokes an era when art and style were important. Great neighborhood too just a short walk to the Cathedral district. Desk staff and concierge speak English. Airport transfer about $248 MXN. Our room didn't have a window but it was still a good room just 4 steps from the roof patio.

A beautiful hotel with an incredible colonial atmosphere. The service is 10. The cheapest rooms are somewhat small but they have the indispensable thing to make your stay very enjoyable. I have No more words to say: 100% recommended.

This hotel is beautify and the staff is nothing less than awesome! It's close to the historic center yet quiet from all the buzz. The architecture of the hotel is beautiful! The rooms are quite large. Breakfast buffet has a good selection of food that changes daily. Jose, the concierge, recommended a tour to nearby city of Tequila, and the tour company they use is amazing. My husband and I had a great time! Will definitely return to Hotel Morales when in Guadalajara.

Beautiful "Old Mexico" Hotel. Very close to the historic downtown area within walking distance to shopping and many churches and museums. Hotel has every amenity; is clean and staff are friendly and efficient. Food at the hotel's restaurant and bar is excellent and reasonably priced. You should stay here if you're looking for charm, character and ambiance.

Beautiful hotel, very colonial infrastructure, nice people yet unfortunately one day that went the light in the whole hotel, it came at 15 minutes or less. But the attention of the staff worried about the guests.
Note: I recommend the points of visit in Guadalajara. It is a truck that takes you to all the places that says the map for less than 200. — Pesos per person.

Excellent place, very well located in the center. With a rich menu in the morning or in the afternoon, delicious drinks, dishes and desserts, all at a very good price. In addition to being a historic place and built in the years of 1800.

Beautiful hotel with wonderful service. Right in the heart of the city. Rooms away from the main street are quite. AC in every room. We choose the breakfast included option and did not regret it! Great food and bottomless coffee, juice and milk. I would stay here again.

Amazing hotel in the center of the historic center of Guadalajara. Loved the hotel’s details, extremely comfortable room, and the professional staff. The roof top pool and many terraces are not to be missed (order drinks from restaurant downstairs and enjoy with view of Guadalajara). Front desk gave the best exchange, and really helpful in confirming last minute trip to Jamay. Have recommended to friends and family and will definitely stay there again.

This hotel is super cool. Has a nice rooftop pool. The big feature is the incredible architecture. The staff are superb. Protected garage parking. Has a nice restaurant. Nice pool table room. Nice fountain right in the middle of the lobby. Has this great feel where there are chairs outside of the rooms and you'd just about use them to sit and read. Superb historic location on a big Cathedral colonnade area. This is an old historic building that has been kept up and remodeled well. One slight drawback is slow internet. Too much to do and enjoy to be wasting a lot of time on the net though.

Every time I travel to Guadalajara I stay at this Hotel. The Staff are friendly and helpful. And the hotel is clean, and rooms are spacious and quiet. The food at their restaurant is simply delicious. I would recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful historic hotel with colonial architecture, the only 5 star hotel in Centro. Most rooms have the historic feel with tall ceilings and chandeliers, but with modern amenities. They also have some modern style rooms that are very nice also (photo). Service was excellent and the restaurant was very good, from breakfast to dinner. It is also a quiet and family oriented hotel.

I noticed that nobody mention anything about checking time, which was supposed to be at 3:30 and still waiting 20 minutes with no sign to get our room yet. Maybe is soon for the rating but will edit it if find better things to say once I get installed. Hopefully is soon. As I promised this place deserves a 5 star for all that it offers, there was a miscommunication on the first day and shift change the staff is very courteous and friendly. Our room is super nice, street view very spacious and everything is close. Nice to walk around and lots to see and enjoy.

The rooms are excellent and very comfortable to the same qe the rest of the hotel is cute and very clean and is in a good location.

My room was close to the elevator so it was a bit noisy but then I have a very light sleep. The location is on DT and it's pretty close to anything happening on DT.

The location is excellent as it is located in the center of Guadalajara. The service is very good, the staff is very friendly and will guide you with any questions. Would definitely come back.

Overall, nice job of renovation. My room was noisy and the floor rumbled. The A/C leaked for half my stay and took an hour to repair. The shower leaked all over the bathroom and into the bedroom. Comfy bed and good room service. Breakfast buffet to be avoided. Would I stay here again? No.

We got an excellent price for this hotel, we where worried it was going to be a dive, very impressed with hotel morales, clean, elegant, great staff, we highly recommend this hotel it is centrally located, only dislike was the restaurant food was mediocre it's better to eat else where but besides that loved this place will be back.

A hotel with history, class and distinction, quiet and well preserved, good remodeling and excellent service, the slightly higher prices and some rooms are quite small but is still a very pampered and comfortable place.

Everything is good except the breakfast.

The staff is amazing, and very bilingual (English)! They treat every guest like family. Very clean and quaint. Centrally located for sightseeing and taking in El Centro de Guadalajara. Surrounded by good shopping, short walk to the Cathedral and other attractions. Really nice amenities (pool, fitness center, lounge). Wi-Fi can be "spotty" but that's about the only nit I can pick.
