Perfect location, very clean, nice staff.

The hotel is very colonial, the staff is very friendly, the location very central but the cleanliness of the rooms not very good, there is dust, it smells old and sure they do not vacuum or make the beds regularly because I am asleep by a spider and I woke up with a lot of hives on my leg that lasted weeks and caused me a lot of itching, redness and rash. Although the rooms are not occupied for a long time, clean the room and beds because it cannot be that you are sharing the bed with a poisonous spider.

Very nice hotel workers have very good customer service it’s my new hotel when I go to Guadalajara.

Hello I want to thank the Hotel de Mendoza and its staff was staying this week and I am grateful from the time I arrive until I left. All carefully disinfected and all your staff very trained and prepared in this new opening.
I felt very calm and their food with the excellent quality and cleanliness of always a thousand thanks for all that God bless them until the next time.

The restaurant was reasonable priced and good except their coffee wasn't very good, and they served me stale pan dulche, on Sunday, when I complained about them, they obviously didn't understand me.

Good place, parking is very small and one should look to the valet parking, those who are at reception super rude, at night are asleep Hahahahahahaha. Too bad I couldn't take pictures of them. The hotel is well only for the details I mention I rate them with 3 stars. The truth is well located. Too bad they have staff who don't have good service. I hope the owners take corrective action.

It was very nice, it is the second time I stayed at the hotel. It's in the center, there's a lot to see around and the scrolling is easy in any direction. The rooms are comfortable and always clean.

This Hotel is located at the center of the Downtown, every place is close so you can have a walk at any time. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The only downside is the plumbing that I believe it's kind of old so when we took a bath the water didn't run fluent, until we finished and closed the faucet then the water will be gone, we reported the issue and we were transferred to a different room but the problem was the same, so we just stay and saw it on the positive.

The truth a very nice option in the center of the city, the cost seems elevated to me not to be a big chain hotel and not to have attractive extras, but the place is very quiet, nice and cozy so I would highly recommend it.

Nice place very clean and the attention is excellent and the security is good. They charge the parking lot but it is good you have the car fast and the attention is something that is worth a lot.

Great central location, close to everything within walking distance. Rooms are a bit outdated but very clean and comfortable. Definitely not a luxurious hotel, but has all the basic necessities. Pool was not working during our stay but we were only there for 1 night so it didn't matter much. Would definitely stay there again.

If you are looking for something in the historic center it has the perfect location, it is practical and the colonial decor. It has a very nice top terrace.

The hotel is clean, rooms of regular size, very clean. The bathroom is small but clean. Overall a good place to stay and totally central. The reason I give 3 stars is for the price, cost for 2 people to $1, 490 (Low Season) in January 2018, which does not match the Internet. I think it's elevated because of what it offers. A hotel this size somewhere else costs for half or less. It has hotel parking right on the side but is charged extra.

The place is pretty good, very clean. Although the building is a bit old and the interior décor so makes it look, it's not sloppy. The big advantage is that it is located on the side of the theater, so they make the hotel a pretty good place to walk around the center without getting lost or away from the accommodation. The service is also quite good, since you arrive they serve you in the best way, always respond to your doubts. The restaurant, although it is a little small, is very good. The dishes are good. Overall an excellent choice for staying.

It is a hotel with a very nice old façade, with very good attention and the restaurant is also very nice. Spacious rooms and close to Guadalajara's attractions, my family likes to get there almost every time we go.

The very best! You won't get any better in all of Guadalajara. The best rooms, the price (we pay $65 a night) and be sure to ask for a balcony, the friendliest staff, and location (right in town. No need to drive or taxi anywhere. ) I come to Guadalajara every two months and I always stay at the Hotel de Mendoza. Make reservations early as it is popular.

Great hotel in downtown Guadalajara and I mean pretty much in the center of it. All major downtown Plazas are wiithin minutes of De Mendoza. Nice rooms and great service. Wi-Fi was extremely fast when I was there.

Inconsistent restaurant. Had one of the worst meals the night we checked in and the next night dinner was good. Room was rather disappointing and run down. Warped laminate floors and doors that stuck. The drop ceiling in the closet was actually resting on the clothes rod. Location near plaza was great. Had an omelet for breakfast and it was rather small and skimpy on filling. They actually served mashed potatoes with an omelet! Moved to Hotel Roma and it was a much better accommodation.

Clean rooms that need updating. You need to leave a $1, 500 pesos deposit to use the safe in the room. The pool is nice but freezing even in summer. Our stay at Hotel de Mendoza was excellent! The room was clean, simple and adequate for my wife and I. Location in the Historical Center of town and near the main streets was superior. The history of the building was great! The amenities such as the pool and restaurant of the hotel were good. Food was tasty. The "de Mendoza" had a rooftop 'terrazas' area well lite and w/great views of the city. The staff was friendly and accommodating especially when assisting my wife of limited Spanish. They had s small gym that was adequately equipped. Our first impression of the Hotel came through the staff-they were excellent! Will recommend the Hotel de Mendoza to EVERYONE!

My room had a great view of the dome. It was moonlit at night. I like the little balcony overlooking the pool. Walking distance to a lot of historic buildings. Staff is reliable.

Friendly and good advice on the part of employees about places to visit. The included breakfast is not continental and fairly succinct. The hotel is ideally located.

The hotel seems quite nice I just think the restaurant closes too early; a good thing is that they recomended me to call some restaurants near the hotel.

Place of beautiful architecture, with a perfect location in the historic centre, food delicious, very clean, staff friendly and hospitable, good signal Wi-Fi when compared with other hotels and parking. My only "but" is a subtle smell of tobacco smoke that was in my room, I did not know if the waitress was smoking in my room or if scent entered through the ventilation ducts, which are solved by opening the window a few minutes.
If I return to Guadalajara, I'll be back to stay at this place.
