It is not the first time I visited Leon for work reasons, but upon arriving at the hotel facilities I felt very comfortable and excellently taken care of.

The rooms and the appliances in them are VERY outdated, most stuff is tinted yellow due to old age, nonetheless they are kept clean and in working status. The AC in the rooms is phenomenal and the pool is small but clean. What is noteworthy of the hotel is the front desk, they're quick and effective. Additionally, the hotel itself is 5 minutes away from a large popular mall and a couple of supermarkets.

Only stay at this hotel if the city has been destroyed and it's the only building left standing. It's incredibly far from anything interesting and very expensive to get to by taxi and takes about 40 minutes to go back and forth by bus. I had serious problems with the reception staff and was double charged for my stay. They refused to believe me when I said my reservation was paid for online and they made me pay at the desk when I arrived. They also charged me an extra $20 for a 3rd person. This was something that wasn't asked online and I had never experienced a hotel charging per person rather than per room. We stayed in Leon 2 nights but after the horrible check in experience we moved downtown where we could walk everywhere or get there by bus within a few stops.
