We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in December 2013. The condition of the room is poor to average. Upon arrival the sheets smelled horrible, like mold. I called and hey changed the sheets right away but the mold smell in the room did not go away. The towels that are supposed to be white were gray. The bed covers and pillows are poor quality. The room was spacious and great ocean view. Bring your shampoo and conditioner with you because they don't have a conditioner in the room. We had all our dinners at the fine dining restaurant. Although it requires reservation (make your reservation at 8 am), we were able to get a table every night. The food at this restaurant was good, much much better than the other buffet restaurant. They also serve a much nicer breakfast at this restaurant. The food at the buffet was not good our taste although many people seemed to be enjoying the buffet. Drinks were okay for me as I am not really picky with the quality of the drink. I'm not much of a drinker, but it was nice to get whatever you want for free. Pools and the activities were good. Kayaking, scuba diving lesson, snorkeling tours, water aerobics, etc. Are included. The swimming area in the beach with sand only bottom is limited, but the water is crystal clear and you can see the fish from above. I really enjoyed swimming the sea. Actually I think this hotel's beach were the best beach in the island. We drove all over the island, and it was either too wavy or not as clear in the other parts of the island. In summary, other than the room's condition it is a nice place, especially for families. All the guests were nice, friendly, laid back, and quiet people. It's in general a decent place for a relaxing vacation. I wish they would improve the quality of the rooms.
