We had an absolutely fabulous experience, the attention to small details and going above and beyond to make the guests relaxed, special and comforted is simply outstanding! Each & every member of staff are dedicated to make it ultra special, no request is too big for them, simply the best holiday we had till date, cannot recommend them enough!

I’ve been overwhelmed by the warm welcome and the affable staff. Natasha welcomed me with an umbrella in the rain, it made all the difference. The rooms are spacious, everything is well thought of. I’ve yet to explore the hotel and it’s facilities, but suffice to say it’s a good start.

Amazing hotel, amazing staff, amazing service and amazing food.

We chose this hotel for our honeymoon. When I booked the hotel, I wanted
everything to be perfect for our special day. I was constantly in contact with Mr Kailash who was very helpful. When we checked in, we were a bit disappointed by the attitude of the manager on duty. We agreed with mr Kailash to have a photoshoot but the manager on duty denied this when we arrived. On a positive note, the private villa with the pool is simply out of this world. Fantastic hotel.

Excellent hotel, with the characteristic Oberoi focus on high levels of service. Good food. Well maintained premises. The beach however, is Rocky and suitable for swimming. One significant lapse, which I would like to believe is rare for Oberoi, was that the extra sheet and pillow cover had blood stains.

We had a fantastic ten day stay celebrating a special birthday with all the family of all ages. The attention and service we experienced was second to none and much appreciated. We would not stay anywhere else in Mauritius and hope to return in the not too distant future.

Very nice hotel, great service. Very quiet, mainly is not a lot of traffic so to ensure the quality of service. Worth coming, except for your point, everything else is fine.

Very nice Facility. Not too big. Through the individual Bays on the Beach, it spreads very well. And the Best thing is the Staff, very cordial, accommodating. In this Hotel, Guest is still King.

We love the Oberoi. I've stayed four times. The food is excellent, the rooms are great, even the basic level. The best thing is the service, which is always top notch. I've stayed in all the top hotels in Mauritius and Oberoi beats them on all counts. The Four Seasons is usually much more expensive but still has worse food and service than the Oberoi. St Regis has a great location but service and food can't compare. Special mention must go to the head gardener because the grounds are immaculate and really wonderful to walk around. The beach is small, but always quite and peaceful and it's the perfect place to relax. We liked it so much that we intend to visit more Oberoi properties around the world and definitely come back a few more times to the Mauritius Oberoi.

Fabulous setting, beautiful views and brilliant staff. Food and drinks prices ludicrous though — about 5 times higher than good tourist orientated places outside the hotel. Not much incentive to eat and drink here.

Best service. Best location. Best food and beverage. Spa was superb! One of the best hotels on the island. The Hub kids club was original and a true hidden gem. Honestly my little one enjoyed it so much!

Possibly one of the best hotels in the world! Service is more than outstanding, the staff go out of their way to make you feel as if Mauritius is your second home. The food is great, with a lovely variety for breakfast and dinner. I've been twice now in less than 6 months and it's truly been a wonderful experience both time. A must go if your visiting Mauritius. PS the massages at the spa are incredible, feel asleep twice during the Indian head massage. Heaven on earth!

After much deliberation we picked here to get married and stay for our honeymoon, it was the best decision we made and would recommend to anyone thinking of getting married abroad. The Amazing Amanda was in contact with me from the moment we booked until we left the resort and arrangements were beautiful. We were very well looked after as is everyone, the service from all staff is of a higher standard that I have ever experienced. The food thoroughly deserves 5* and the chefs will accomodate anything you desire. It was our paradise and the little personal touches to our stay made all the difference, we loved it and wish to come back on an anniversary. Thank you to everyone involved in our stay this place will stay in our hearts.

I have recently returned home from a week at the Oberoi, Mauritius. This was our second visit and so we knew what to expect — it did not let us down! The hotel was still just as incredible and the staff were so wonderful. A special mention to Singh Gunshan and the staff at 'On The Rocks' who were so lovely. Singh made some time aside to do a personal class in the kitchen, making a chicken curry — something I will remember forever and valued so much. Thank you Singh. Can't wait to come again.

Nice hotel having good views on the beach and sea. Also giving bery good activities. Staff is very froendly and helpful.

We have lived our stay at Oberois. Could not have asked for anything better. The Indian chef provided us with Jain options. The Jain food option was too good. Would strongly recommend this to my friends and relatives.

The ultimate luxury experience for the discerning vacationer. Reserve the villas with your own private pool. Well worth the money and makes for an unforgettable experience. The food is good but it is the staff service here that truly elevates this hotel above most others on the island.
