If you Wanna feel the warmth of heavenly life. This is the place. Not sure from where should I start praising it. The most happening place. Loved the buffet in the hotel. Staff is welcoming. In the evening they play live music which is really good. Overall a great experience.

Quite standard hotel for mauritius, beautiful beach view. Perhaps the low rating goes to staff management. If a guest pianist visits your hotel, he surely should be allowed to touch the piano. Have not been treated like that in while. The buffet was fairly standard, nothing much to take home. And lastly, that piano, please get it tuned and cleaned, the polishing outside does not remove the dust from within.

Everything excellent except the waiter at Veda restaurant. He seemed to be very hurry to let us finish our dinner. Kept caling 'space, space' at us when bringing our main course, he asked us to pack our plates quickly so he can put the dishes on the table. I didn't want to complain until at the end of the dinner. He smiled at the Western guests on the next table, asking very politely if they had enjoyed their meal and then turned to us just said: finished? I'm Chinese, and he is Indian.

Great hotel for our honeymoon! The staff is great, the activities are superb!

Very nice welcome, the staff very welcoming if you have any question, they stand at disposal to answer you and also very respectful and politeness, following the consultation of taxi fares this remains very expensive, we did a search on the net, we have contact private chauffeur Mauritius on Facebook, we have book and we spend a nice day with one of their driver, they explained to us the slightest detail about their culture etc… Finally we thank this warm welcome to your staff, good luck and good continuation.

Excellent hotel, with good facilities. Staff are the most friendly I've encountered and go out of their way to accommodate you every step of the way. Teenage kids enjoyed the water sports and pools. Four different restaurant options ensure a different style of food daily. Entertainment was fun most evenings.

Good place to spend a vacation. Great views on beach and from the rooms. Food quality is not much good but it makes up for it with great water sports. Recommended for couples.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and very helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. (we even opened the bed in the evening by putting the little slippers on the edge of the bed. How do I get back to France after that? ) Small flat on the desserts of the buffet but very suitable.
I recommend the all inclusive, as the cocktails and casiment all the rest of the bar is a 400 rupee (€10), quickly profitable.

Nice property. Has a private beach as well. Expected some vegetarian desserts in their buffet but there was hardly one pudding which didn't even taste good. The chef's treated us with specially made pizza and noodles on our last dinner. And yes. Baby samosas also!

2018 April — Poor service never had such an experience. I had the unique experience of zero star. Most of the guests complaining about food (3 days of noodles, roasted, grills no change and no taste), staffs attitude and disorganization, poor service after complaining to the sales director who was no more but an over arrogant person with no understanding at all. Compared to all intercontinental I have been this was the worst and I believed received the 5stars based on foreign hotels. You want an experience please checkin with the neighbours been there 3 weeks back and I can only share the wow effect you are working for.

Already on arrival you are on holiday, the forest the house, the lobby, suddenly the sea I could let the room look really good on me and luckily after all in all 24h arrival not just so pure simply delightful.
A beautifully situated hotel surrounded by the sea and forest that looks its same. Open and inviting, which captures the expanse of the ocean. Almost picturesque, a small sandy bay in front of the coast fits into the panorama that was my first impression.
The sea is crystal clear.
The whole complex is covered with trees, palms, shrubs and numerous flowers.
For the physical well-being, 4 restaurants and a bar, to whom nature is not enough for the spiritual well-being can take advantage of the spa offer, even without reservation no problem.
Location & Surroundings The journey in the private bus takes 45min.
Yes the beach here is not made of gravel and certainly not of sand but of countless coral pieces, but it is as it should be and life directly to the shore and beyond gives the hotel right.
Room The room has ample storage space to accommodate my wife's belongings. I cannot and must not ask for more. I could not believe it, even I was allowed to use a niche in which the free safe was located. A large king size bed as well as the mini bar with above flat screen which I personally received and all the information offered me rounded off the living room.

Good service. Spacious and grand hotel with several restaurants. Ideal for families and groups. Very good conference facilities.

Mauritius Island… Truly a copy of Heaven on earth as said by Mark Twain… An Indiana Ocean Island… What a beautiful island to visit and life…

I stayed two days there, the hotel is good in all, the sea view is beautiful while the sand is not as good as hotel in east, the food in Segala is so bad for a Chinese, it's so salty. The room is very wet, this is not true in my hotel in east coast, to get hot water shower you must wait more than 5 minutes until the water get hot. However, I'm very appreciated their staff Maggie, she helped me a lot to find my ring back.

The staff has been incredible, going out of their way to help us, especially Dev and Elsa who took care of our reservation and requests. The view is incredible and the private beach area is a huge plus. There are 4 restaurants at the resort, as well as kayak rentals. The family room is really big and perfect for a larger group. Only downside is that you need to make reservations for dinner and they are always fully booked as they say but the restaurants are always half empty so it doesn't make much sense. Some things can be improved (i. E. They never replace our toilet paper). But great experience nonetheless.

Best vacation we've ever had — never met such amazing, hard-working, friendly staff. Food at the different restaurants was really good. Rooms were always very clean. We loved it.

Life is relatively expensive (especially for Octoctones, whose base salary is €225 since November 2016).
Local currency: The Mauritian rupee which is exchanged at about 40 rupees for €1

Beautiful resort. Helpful staff. The best part is the food. Very large and variety of spread in the main restaurant. Indian food was brilliant in Veda restaurant. The beach has dead corals so not great for snorkeling. The boat house is more interested in getting money from you than providing you services.

Stay in all inclusive. Excellent value for money. The staff are lovely, the rooms very nice. Enjoyable entertainment by staying discreet at night. A favourite for the Asian restaurant for its dishes and its team!

The hotel is beautiful. However pay attention to your bills when checking out. The establishment does not hesitate to charge you for the services not received.
And after that it is up to you to prove that you have not consumed.
After 25 minutes of waiting. Finally an apology.
Compared to the Mauritian restaurant inside the hotel. Know that this is a menu imposed at the price of 1780 rupees per person which represents 45 euros.
Huge sum for the quality of the dishes, I think.
No presentation, and menu imposed is not worth it!
A duck duck breast salad since it was chicken. According to the server there was no more breast.
A kind of soup in which three vermicelli noodles, fried tofu and then soaked in this famous juice. So inevitably a sponge in the end. A few sheets of spinach here and there.
When you complain then the chef of the kitchen comes out (he dares! ) and of course nothing to say he sees very well that what he sent it is horrible. Except for the apology. I had the right to a discount anyway at the height of 5%… what to say? It's a joke isn't it…? This is four. €5. For an appetizer, a dish, a dessert (which I pass details on this famous nougat mousse) or the dishes we just tasted.
Very nice for the room pool and company. Avoid eating and watch out for notes.

A real nice place to stay… Very cooperative staff… Good ambience… Too delicious food…! Just the deluxe room with jacuzzi is not worth taking!

Not as great as expected for a 5 star. They said they were having some pest issues. Had a cockroach in the bathroom. The air conditioning was not working too great either. The beaches are mostly rocky and have some reef. Good for adults to look out for fish. But not v great for smaller kids wanting to play with the sand. The staff was v friendly and accommodating.

Nice hotel. I have been there with kids on one day pass. Big swimming pool and Good food. Price good with regards to quality of service offered.

This was our third time at the hotel. We love the warm welcome, the comfort, the variety in the food menu. As a family, Intercontinental Balaclava provides an excellent break for all ages.

Absolutely amazing, best three weeks of my life, but I recently went vegan and I'm considering coming back. But I'm wondering if there are any vegan options? Does anyone know?

We were there in July 2017 and I cannot express how wonderful this holiday was. The rooms, the amenities and beauty of the scenery was fabulous. There was a lot activities available for all ages. I would like to specifically thank and congratulate the friendly service, amazing food and assistance to the following Dev, Garry, Wesley, Joanne and also a couple young ladies at Noble house, sorry didn't get their names. The hotel should keep hold of these people as they made our holiday the perfect destination and we will definitely be returning in the near future and recommend the same as well. Please if there are any awards for your hotel I would like put a vote for Garry and Wesley as there happy personality and the love for their work was infectious. Thanks to all. Very happy with our 7 day stay. Indian food was delicious and we loved the hotel beach and belly dance performances by such experienced dancers. Clean, neat and well organised hotel. Taxi fares for places outside the hotel are expensive though.

Our stay was very comfortable. Hospitality was very good and the staff was very helpful. Resort assistant manager mr. Dev and his crew helped us make our stay very comfortable.

I went there on honeymoon but Indian food was not so good. Waiting time for room is more than 4 hours and airport transfers r not at time u can miss u flight. I was late due to there mistake.

It's an average place service is a bit slow… the beach has alot of rocks… but overall pleasant stay and majority of staff are really good… however this is not a 5 star resort, I would say it's a 4 at the max.

Nice hotel with a great view. The service is always very friendly, small bugs were fixed quickly. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. The food is more than varied!

Best stay ever experienced, have been there twice. Recommended 3 family members, they couldn't have a better honeymoon, I deserve a better discount for recommending a couple for March 2016

Check in time is supposed to be at 2 pm. Igot my room at almost 4pm. At5pm I had to go back to the concierge toaccompany my luggage if not it would have remained there only. Food is just ok. The swimming pool is not big enough. The overall service is much to be desired as compared to the Sun group of Hotels in Mauritius.

Spent 2 weeks in 10.2015 here. Is not the usual, otherwise very good Interconti standard worldwide. Even with good will: it's only middle-class! The 4-star rating is benevolent.
Audience: International with emphasis on Indian and Chinese guests. No Russians.
Location: at the end of a cul-de-sac. Next door Westin and that will be that Maritim. The nearest city is not walking distance. A rental car or a taxi will be necessary if not wants to stay in the hotel. Should you not… Parking is free.
Beach: Untidy sandy beach with coral and stones moved. Swimming in the pool or the Štrkovec flat (max 1 m) deep lagoon possible. Boathouse with common facilities, water skiing including diving base is easy, but good; Price is ok. The reef is located directly in front of the beach. Sun beds on the beach are always available.
House: in the years and tw. Unkempt. Rooms at the bath gammelig. Hot tw. Only after 7-8 run minutes available. Air conditioner weakly, TV is not void, repair attempt ultimately unsuccessful. Wi-Fi is free and works everywhere.
Restaurant: main restaurant is everything in the buffet form an impersonal air station. Quality is not a 5-star level. Breakfast à la carte better take at the Segala-beach restaurant. Dinner in the specialty restaurant (Indian, chinesich and beach restaurant). Good quality and good service.

The hotel is beautifully located. The rooms are nice. The food is good. The overall ambience is great. My wife and I loved it.
