Had a delightful stay. Tony, Ksenia and all the staff gave us excellent service without being intrusive. Unique room in a great location. Highly recommended and excellent value.

Hotel was beautiful, staff were very friendly, food and drink were very nice. Roof terrace is a really nice additions and the spa is quite large and very modern. What let it down was our room had no window, some noise and only a glass door between the bedroom and the toilet.

Our hotel stay was wonderful! The hotel was super clean, the breakfast was great, and the staff were all incredibly courteous and helpful. The location was also great, close to the 133 circular and the Valletta bus terminal with great connectivity to locations across Malta and Gozo.

The only problem I had with the Palazzo Consiglia was that I had to leave. By far my favourite hotel. The whole team of staff were second to none. Other hotels should send their staff here to see how it's done. They were all friendly and helpful. It's in a great location. Just minutes walk to shops, restaurants and bars and all the main sights. Churches, Barrakka Gardens etc and the ferry to Sliema or the three cities. The hotel is beautifully designed with each room unique, you certainly don't feel like a number here. There's everything you could ask for… A spa with indoor heated pool, hot tub and steam room you can use for free and a good deal for treatments, at a reasonable rate when hotels now are charging ridiculous prices. Also a fantastic rooftop pool and lounging area. There's a great central courtyard with a glass lift, a breakfast room and bar. My room was simply gorgeous I would have happily stayed there. Much more than a 5*. Thank you Palazzo Consiglia for making my first visit to Malta so memorable. I will see you again.

Kudos to the owner / architect who had revamped an old Maltese mansion into a architectural gem. Very hip, very cool. The hotel has less than 20 ensuite rooms, each decorated in its own unique style. Most rooms are quite sizable but there are some on the highest floor have no standard windows but skylight windows instead. Other amenities include lounge, breakfast room, spa and a pool on the roof top. The location is also very convenient for the sighs in central Valletta. Overall clean, comfortable, secure and friendly staff. Only negative comment is that the shower stall in my room is a tad leaky. Still, I will highly recommend this hotel. Great experience.

+ Strategic location in old Valleta town, totaly new reconstructed and very charming building, very helpfuul and friendly staff, superb small pool on roof (! ) vith beds and nice terrace, good breakfast with wide choices of meal, solid prices for minibar, cozy apartments. — very cold water in the pool, very loud sound from bathroom, when is someone showering (room Nautica)

I stayed here for a week with my immediate and extended family in the run-up to my wedding at the end of April 2017. We took a total of 8 rooms. I first made an enquiry in early 2016 and had the pleasure of corresponding with Robert Milo (the General Manager) on email for over a year. I was struck by his attention to detail — never failing to respond within a few hours and answering each and every question with care (and with a different colour no less — major plus points). Organising room bookings, family preferences, meal reservations, parking permits for the wedding day and an externally catered wedding lunch for 20 in the delightful foyer of the hotel was no mean feat — but Robert and his equally capable team made all of these things a breeze. I felt like I had my own personal PA by the end of our >100 email correspondence. From building a wooden 'step' at short notice to ensure my elderly grandparents could access the lift safely, to Robert going out to buy a desk and chair for my brother so he could study for exams in his room, to remembering how my mum liked her coffee in the morning, to the friendly housekeeping service who never felt to greet you and smile — the personalised customer service they provided was second to none.

Fantastic renovation of an ancient building keeping the original atmosphere intact but with all the comforts and style of the best boutique hotels.

While visiting Valletta in June, hunting for the perfect place to celebrate our wedding, my husband and I came across Palazzo Consiglia. We walked through the entrance and were welcomed by a smiling Karolina. We told her that we were wandering around the city, looking for a wedding venue, and she immediately offered to show us around. We were charmed by the place, but also and most important by how welcoming Karolina was. We decided to have our wedding in Palazzo Consiglia. W…e came back for this special day in September with our family and were also staying in the Palazzo. Everyone made our stay absolutely perfect, and every thing went smoothly. We did not worry about a single thing as it was all professionally arranged.
We later discovered that we were the first couple to celebrate their wedding at the Palazzo, and we could not have suspected it given how great it all was.
I definitely recommend staying at Palazzo Consiglia, and if you have any special event do not hesitate either. To all the Palazzo Consiglia team, thank you a gazillion time for making our special day and all our stay perfect!
