My son on a school trip found dirty sheets and rooms poorly cared for. Poor food. Positive note instead for the staff.

We have a wonderful time in Malta. Our first visit. Hotel has been brilliant. Staff friendly. Family hotel. Rooms cleaned every day and beds made. All our needs have been met. For a three star hotel it's been brilliant. Thankyou for a pleasant stay.

Good value for money. Hotel dated, OK to spend the night and rest in the pool. Great location for Bugibba-St Paul's Bay.

Room was very big and they came and cleaned it everyday. Shower and bath clean. Not overly modern but exceptional for the price. Stay away from the food tho breakfast and half board not worth it. Same thing everyday limited selection and not warm. Save your money and eat out at the many great restaraunts instead. Will be staying here again next year for the Annie Mac Lost & Found Festival.

Negative points:
-the towels are removed every day and not replaced so that we find ourselves with nothing …
-the room was not made one day…
-there is no parking, you have to park in the street
-there was a hole in the bay window so humidity at night
-the receptionists are not all nice …

-the bar dancing in front belonging to the resort it favors the meetings and avoids taking the car to get out.

Absolutely awful! The rooms aren’t great and the staff are clueless. The cigarette machine in the hotel wasn’t working so they directed me to a shop that they said was nearby, I asked them if they could open the machine as I am travelling alone and it was late to which they couldn’t they advised me the route was safe which wasn’t the case! I was followed by a large group of Somalian men who were harassing me to which an English man came over to help me who may well have saved my life! He said that a young girl was recently raped by similar men in the same area and that the hotel was foolish for sending me the way they did, this man ensured I got back into my hotel lobby safely and if he hadn’t of been there I don’t know what would have happened. Awful area not safe for lone female travellers.

For the budget. Less than 40 euros. At night. Very large room and clean. Friendly staff… UNe deposit of 50 euros is requested on arrival but it is returned after checking the room at the departure without any problems.

Staff loudly make the pool Sauber at 6am! Food plain. Hallway without carpet and therefore quite clairvoyant. Air conditioning outdated and very noisy.

The Hotel corresponds to its 3 stars. It is a Pity that the food is monotonous every day (as Groundhog Day is the same), but hungry will not leave. Good hardware coffee and cocoa. The Towels were changed and cleaned every day. Bed linen is changed 1 time in 5 days. Clean. The Staff is polite, there is a speaking young man at the reception. Unfortunately there is no iron in the hotel even on bail. The Room was very comfortable. In Others there is a kettle, but it is cool-in a closet additional blankets. Near the small shops, which have almost everything. Payment in them (not in all) card is possible. The sea and promenade are less than 1 km away. You can take the city Plan at the reception. Entrance to the sea only in special. Shoes. We liked it.

The food was bad and insufficient not to mention the cleanliness such as greasy dishes and the beds absolutely stained and dirty like the bathroom and the rest of the room. Not to mention the simple fact that I was on a trip with the school and as if it were not enough we were treated really disgusting.

The hotel itself was rather well maintained but the problem was that the slightest sounds could be pierced from room to room.

Place is run down and could be cleaner. Rooms were not cleaned daily. Only given clean towels the night before we left. Lots of school groups here which were very unruly and greedy with the food, leaving none for other guests. All inclusive options only gives you three meals and drinks. No ice cream or snacks through out the day. It's a good location regarding bus routes and bugibba Square. Staff are friendly and helpful. I would not return here. But is good if you are looking for a budget option.

Dirty bathrooms, no towels in the bathroom. Dirty and bloody blankets not to mention food that was really horrendous. We lived for 5 days of mini market sandwiches.

Quite honestly the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Don't waste your money. If you're used to travelling and hostel life then at best it's a slightly upgraded hostel. Definitely don't waste your money on full board or bed and breakfast, much better food is available for very cheap prices in town. We even considered moving hotels. The staff are excellent but the company really needs to up it's game. TV isn't even plugged into the ariel, fittings are not even good enough to be called cheap, a single blanket is considered bedding and if you touch something it will fall apart. Be warned,

The information very polite and attentive but the hotel the ugly rooms have nothing you don't see the TV there is no cleaning floor the food dinner and breakfast super lousy without variety command change towels and leave me without them you have to claim that there is no spa as advertised in your lined Na Internet is a total hoax the city super Beautiful and the other outside has pool the waiter is a total edge seems to owe you money that you see learning Italian or English why Spanish na de na and prepare a blanket in the suitcase for the night as it makes Cold.

Mediocre. Obsolete rooms. The hotel kitchen is to be avoided. They ask for a esosa deposit of 50 euros. Full board If you need to replace lunch with a packed breakfast, an orange sandwich and a 250 cc bottle of water are provided. The pool is not big but looks functional. Still was not active in the period of my stay. Some rooms are really unpresentable. Others are acceptable for a period of vacation away from the nightlife of St Julian.

Terrifying experience. Indescribable filth. Bad food.

Not a bad hotel but basic facilities. TV's don't work in apartments. Food often not very hot nor particularly varied though edible. Limited all inclusive drinks. Not much to do for young kids with no pool in action when we visited.

Went on the 1st march 2018 as a group of 4. First time holiday! Arrived at the hotel to no room. They had us wait in the reception area for approx 4 hours. Lieing to us and to those we was trying to seek help from. Went to the dining area where the food was absolutely disgusting and would not even feed my dogs the food. Most of the staff was very rude towards us. The pool was none existant nor was the pool bar or snacks throughout the day (what is the point in paying all inclusive if your not getting all inclusive) Building work on one of the balconys going on with bricks just being dropped from the 3rd floor and being left in a pile! They finally showed us to a room where the floor had a huge puddle of water (only realised as my friend slipped and injured her back) Granted they did give us 2 upgraded rooms that was lovely however the bathrooms arnt the best. After getting over all the trauma we went down to the bar where the bar men were lovely however there was ants all over the bar, I did make the bar man aware but the night after there was double the ants there was the night before. Staff just lie through there teeth! I would never ever return to this hotel in my life! An absolute disgrace. There was however 1 member of staff that went out of his way to help in any way he could, that is the only good thing I can say about this hotel!

It would be interesting to advise clients of non-access to certain locations given the season. Moreover a summer camp was present in the same hotel and did not respect the quiet of other holidaymakers. It runs everywhere it cries out, and neither the monitors nor the staff picks them up. Result they spoil the food and we are content with leftovers.

The three star hotel for what was my experience in October 2017 is highly discouraged. The rooms are not very clean and the buffet is of poor level. The only thing that works well is the reception at the front desk. The staff are friendly and all speak good English.

Absolutely disgusted by this hotel advertised by on the beach we checked in then checked out 45 mins later! Firstly the swimming pool was empty 2 very unhappy young children Room door was hanging off When we opened the door the stench that hit us was vile and our 4 year old was the first to comment saying about the smell being disgusting followed by the second one being 6 adding to it smells like a toilet! The beds were damp/wet and the dining room chairs The entire room was just not cleanly I would not rate this hotel at all and am thankful we hired a car to travel to another hotel •In response to your smarmy reply we asked if you had an alternate room and the young brown haired girl behind reception said there were no available rooms I paid £119 for the reservation of your disgusting hotel and was refunded a measly £60.24 I think you need to ask yourself the question would you sleep in your fleapit of a hotel that you manage.

There is no kids entertainment. My balcony door does not open. The hairdryer does not work. There is a very large crack at bottom of sink from top to bottom. This is oureally third room change in less than a week. There is a hole in every balcony door a circle where cold air comes through. They use it in summer for air vent. My other door was very hard to open and there were wires sticking out from the airconditioning on middle of room. It was not hung properly. The cleaning staff are great. Reception staff are very good and serving staff are very good.

Went to the hotel, as we believed things were going to have improved due to the refit. The food to below standard. Always served cold, No flavour. Alcohol wasn't real. Spirits we made from flavourings (whisky, vodka, gin, rum) with water and alcohol mix. Beer and wine maybe alcohol free. We were unable to get any effect from drinking. Rooms were clean. Reception and cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. Bar staff and waiting staff were friendly, but were not helpful, which I believe this was out of embarrassed due to the standards of the products being serviced.

Budget hotel is an understatement, we arrived 20/12/2017 for honeymoon with three kids. Description was wrong the pool was empty construction work from 7am. No entertainment at all except music blaring all day long, we went all inclusive and my dog gets better food. They served raw chicken. Had a bad stomach from day one. The on-site restaurant was closed on several occasions and was made to go to another hotel to eat. This is a drinkers paradise. Trident the supplier offered no solution or empathy to lack of care the hotel provided. If you have kids don’t go to this hotel the description the travel agents give are false. Will never stay at this hotel ever again. Check my pictures before booking please.

Simple hotel with lots of all inclusive guests.

I'll never go back to this hotel, the only good thing is the pool. Poor rooms, poor food, the tourists was complaining about the food at all inclusive deal, complaining about the rooms, housekeeping… It s to hot in the room. In my opinion this 3 hotel is a joke.

"Las cucaraches", no AC (just ventilator station) with even 28°C in the night time on the rooms, broken shower towels, 30 years old furniture, and many more!

I read the reviews on here constantly, dreading waking up next to a cockroach on the pillow next to me. Thinking I was going to die from how hot the hotel room is! Also thinking the rooms don't get cleaned! Nope, completely wrong. Made no new creepy mates and the air con works as it Should. Bland room with its hello walls, blue kitchen, blue and yellow curtains ect — it's perfect for a base point. We literally dump our stuff and go out. We've hired a car from "Frank's" literally right on the hotels doorstep. Everyone is super polite. The only downside is we requested a room with easy access as I have a disability — we got put in second story room. Apart from that's it's my only issue. Don't get put off by bad reviews. Clean rooms, clean towels everyday and every time I come back it's always tidy. I would recommend this place if your on a budget.

A budget hotel but the rooms were clean and comfortable. Food was okay, good breakfast. Cleaners cleaned everywhere everyday. Most of the staff helpfull. Could do with an update but hey it was good value for money.

Cockroach infested hotel. We stayed in 3 different rooms during our stay. The first 2 rooms were horrible, cockroaches were running around in the kitchen and the living room area so we had to ask them to move us to a better room. The 3rd one was OK, we didn’t see any cockroach until the last day of our stay. It’s a budget hotel so we didn’t expect too much but didn’t think we will see so many cockroaches. If you don’t care about cockroaches then you would probably have a comfortable stay.

Lots of cockroaches at night, toilets can barely flush anything down, they never change towels, the ceiling fans were louder than the traffic outside and they only cleaned out room twice during our 5 day visit. But the staff was super friendly and helpful.

Rooms disappointing, all horrible, the lift does not work. I was there for a week and will have worked 2 days ago. Not to say that I cannot climb stairs but I have a little boy and then the stroller! I notified the front desk several times … never played. I've never used the pool because you just see it from outside to scare. I do not recommend. However if you do not trust go there and you will understand.

I have stayed at San Anton hotel quite a few times over the last few years on a bed and breakfast basis. Cost wise it is good value for money and the location is good for me. I have always found the staff to be friendly but it is clear that they are often overstretched, especially at the reception, and this can lead to long delays with checking in or even just trying to get your key. Rooms are allocated on arrival rather than at the time of making the booking and this can lead to special requests, like a low floor room or quiet room, not being catered for. It also increases the length of time it takes to check in. As a regular returning customer it would be nice to be recognised as such and have my request for a quiet room catered for rather than having to take "pot luck" with the allocation on my arrival. I will be returning again and hope these comments are helpful in making my next stay even better than my last.

Hair on the pillow, dirty room, terrible food garnished with human hair… never again! Forget the Chinese across the road… I had a slice of brillo pad with the dim sum! Malta is beautiful and for great food head to D'Agatino Sicilian Restaurant which is just around the corner from the "hotel"!

Wish I'd stayed at home. Dirty, dark, dank, dismal, mouldy crumbly ripped fixtures and furnishings in room, something what looks like blood on door to apartment. Old broken pool cue down back of radiator in room think painters used it to stir paint as it's same colour as paint work in room. Fur balls in every corner of room. Lighting pathetic vanity unit with no light. Food well don't get me started on that, ate out every day and night for safety, s sake. Crisps on menu for breakfast!. What a hell hole. I'm in room 5603 if anyone from the management team should wish to discuss the afore mentioned but some how I doubt it.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in! staff were miserable as guests were complaining all the time… problems with check-ins, problems with check-outs — refusing to return deposit — absolutely no childrens' entertainment — day or night — hence children running round pool playing loudly until early hours… playroom was filthy and full of old broken toys. All drinks including tea/coffee served in disposable plastic cups. Not enough crockery and cutlery in canteen — food repetitive and bland.

I've been 5 days, from 8 to 13 April; very large room, though unacceptable sheets, dirty and worn, with original White to grey bedspread passed by dirty. Buffet breakfast good; no Wi-Fi in the room (they even Filipinos) if they were more clean, would do it again.

Cockroaches size XXL, rooms are cleaned up every 2 or 3 days (let us recall a (used and half a cigar of the guests above). Air conditioning was only noise, 4 nights sleeping in the living room with the mattress on the floor because the only site where there was an air-conditioning unit very noisy, but at least some cold air out. The Wifi is only connected in the area of the swimming pool and unfortunately for me I was on the 6th floor and the pool 1 (the lift 6-day 3 was damaged). And now we come to the worst… the day that we had to leave the hotel from 10:40 knocking on the door even when the departure time was 11:00 we left to say that we were picking up and my surprise was when at 10:55, an employee of the hotel without prior to to call the door opened to our room, a situation unthinkable or in the more seedy of the pension. The treatment in reception, pesimo, and the warning ominous. NEVER come back to that hotel of bad death.

Older facility, do not change the towels everyday, do not arrange the rooms every day, and cleanliness left a lot to be desired, let alone eat. Not recommended for all Italians.

Really makes it both as hotel rooms as well as a pool to eat crappy ever seen with so many cockroaches and crap between the corridors to be sick.

This hotel should be shut down. What an absolute shit hole! 1) rat droppings in the lobby toilet 2) cockroaches in the pool area near the restaurant 3) no aircon in the rooms only portable aircon units which were rubbish 4) lifts continually breaking down 5) staff unhelpful and rude 6) power cuts in the night turning the aircon units off 7) play park in safe for children, broken glass and litter all over 8) photos on the travel sites aren't recent or properly resemble the hotel Need I go on… We booked with Low Cost Holidays. Com they should be ashamed of offering such a crap hotel to their customers.

Nightmare Hotel never to be visited again My partner, 2 teenage grandchildren and myself have just returned from the holiday from hell in this hotel, day 1 arrived at 12 15 and was told our room would be ready for 1.30 and to return then for keys, went back to be told come back in an hour this went on until 4.30 and finally got in our room to find no air conditioning what so ever, a broken phone, broken furniture and the apartment door would not close securely, we waited 5 days to get clean towels the receptionist told us they did not have enough as more guests were arriving, eventually they got us some from another hotel. The bathroom door handle was broken and my grandchild was locked in for about 10 minuets we got her out then the handy man came to fix it but just screwed the handle back on with 2 screws he did not fix the lock. Someone decided to use the pool as a toilet the staff got a fishing net and scooped it out no emptying or cleaning of the pool, the pool area was swarming with wasps day and night due to litter everywhere and no lids on the bins, one lady got stung in her head and had a serious reaction to it a fellow holiday maker had to ring for an ambulance she informed the reception desk of what was happening and the lady just said oh dear and carried on checking people in the ambulance arrived and rushed the lady of to hospital not 1 member of staff attending to her or asked how she was.

Rundown rooms, inedible food avoid if you can.

I would like to thank all management and staff for the dinner they had offered us, our blind clients really enjoyed it and they also thanked you for your kindness and generosity you had showed them. Everything was excellent but what impressed them most was the way they were looked after, such a good working team. Thanks from all, Regards Alexina and Raymond.
