We enjoyed our stay and would return. This is a small hotel with unrivaled views across St Paul's Bay (from harbour facing rooms. ). It is not part of a resort — nor would we have wanted this. It is a great base to explore Malta from. From a UK perspective the rooms are similar to a Premier Inn or Travel Lodge and include air conditioning, TV (both new), hair dryer, mini fridge. (As noted in other reviews there's no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. ) All rooms have a balcony, half of which are harbour facing — I think rooms ending in, say, 9 or above. The rooms have a fresh white decor and are well maintained and serviced daily. An extra bed can replace the sofa in a twin room for a family stay. The room safe can be rented for €20 (our stay was a week). The bathrooms have a shower, sink and toilet. Hand and bath towels are provided for room use only. It was too early in the season to use the pool, although the children tried! The roof sundeck was open for views but not yet furnished. Included meals are served in the lower floor pizzeria; breakfast is a buffet including a cooked breakfast — the food is good, but the fruit juice and coffee machines are a bit hit and miss! The only blott was the building work on the harbour adjacent restaurant with workers sometimes turning on the radio before 7 am; a crane was also used at times. I overheard this could take 2 more months (as at April 2018. ) Last but not least the receptionist is extremely helpful and will attempt to answer most queries or arrange tours.

Nightly rates from $138
